Rusted, hazardous metal furniture on deck with some rotted boards facing an unlandscaped yard which was mainly dirt. Screened porch had stained, dirty concrete floor in need of paint partially covered with stained rug, rusted glider from the 50’s. Uneven flooring, very small master bath. Positives: location, master bed comfortable, plenty of cookware. Not a good experience for the price.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Cottage on 3rd. We've been to SSI many times, but this was our first time staying in the East Beach neighborhood- we loved this convenient location! The house itself was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. We miss it already. We will be back for sure.

We enjoyed our time at the cottage. The only piece of information that would have been helpful was a description of the house and beach toys/kid friendly things available. We brought many things that we ended up not needing because they were at the house already.

We loved our stay at Coastal Cottage! The home was beautiful and full of charm! The beds were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed. Great access to the beach and plenty of beach supplies and close to everything you could want to see and do in St Simons! The only things we would recommend is to update the binder in the house with a current calendar for trash/recycling and checkout times (they do not match the instructions from the property manager). It was a perfect vacation and we loved the house!

We loved the house! It was stocked with beach stuff and 2 bikes for riding around the Island! It was very clean upon our arrival and was in a perfect location. The short walk to the beach along a hidden path was great! We will definitely be back to this East Beach cottage!

We had the most amazing trip! The house is perfectly located, a quick and serene walk to the beach, and has everything you could possibly want or need for a family!

I've been to St Simons a few times now and honestly feel like East Beach is the place to be. This house is a great and cute little spot. Plus the kids toys were a great surprise!

This place was great! Close to everything. The master bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. The best part was how attentive the contact for the property was. When contacted she responded quickly and efficiently! Would definitely stay here again

This house was in a quiet neighborhood with great beach access. We didn't rent a golf cart - the wagon that we brought worked great. (If you want to rent a golf cart, the 5th street beach access is a perfect place to park.) The house had everything our family needed. The screened front porch was a nice spot to relax and great for all the beach gear.

This is a great location for families, there was a booster seat and pack n play already there! We rented a golf cart and it made all the difference in hauling our stuff to the beach up the long Beach access. The house was very clean and well stocked. We loved our time there!

Our son got married Memorial Weekend and we needed places for friends and family to stay. We came across this gem on Saint Simons Island and quickly reserved this adorable beach cottage. From the on-line rental, to a quick question for the property manager, to pulling away from the home, it was a great experience. The home was built in 1947, as the etching on the main interior beam shows, but has recently been renovated. The home was well-appointed, which is especially nice when you are only staying a few nights and didn’t bring everything with you. The proximity to the beach is great, and East beach is really a wonderful neighborhood. The bikes that were provided (2) were in great condition and came in handy, as you can get anywhere that you want to go on a bike from this home. My only issue with the experience was the lack of cable and/or satellite TV and the Weber charcoal grill in the photos turned out to be a $10 charcoal grill from Winn Dixie. We came down with the intention of watching the Dawgs play on tv the night we arrived but had to make other arrangements. There also wasn’t a charcoal chimney (as shown in the photos) provided. That being said, I would recommend this property.

We loved every inch of this house and this setting. St. Simon's Island is a gem, and we hope to return to this very house for future visits. The host was super-responsive and we were able to utterly relax and enjoy.

The booking, payment and contact with host were great. I really like the check in process with the door code. And oh my, as soon as we opened the door we knew it was going to be a fantastic place to stay. We fell in love with the decor, everything worked and was super clean. Thank you for making this experience worth the money!
