Very relaxing. Had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

Super quiet and comfortable.

Right from arrival to leaving we had a lovely time. The Studio is so well equipped and comfortable. It was lovely and warm, as it was quite a cold weekend. The views are great, so will definately be back in the Summer to enjoy the views from the conservatory. Thanks for making the stay so special.

The hosts were very accommodating and the accomodation was just excellent, so peaceful and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

This was our third visit to The Studio. We really love it there - such a relaxing place to be at the end of the host's long garden and so comfortable. It's very well equipped indeed, very good wifi and hosts are exceptional. Lovely to find complimentary groceries on arrival, particularly the tasty home made marmalade.

Everything about this little hideaway is perfect from the location to all the consideration, comforts and little touches. It is quiet and backs on to fields, yet has its own little secret garden. The living space is huge, and very cosy. The shower is generous and the kitchen/utility fully equipped. 15 mins from Gladtonbury and a walk from the pub which has nice food. The couple to own it are genuinley lovely and helpful. Its now my no 1 writers retreat space.

We provided our own breakfast. The location was perfect. The accommodation was very quiet.

The mattress was a little too soft for us but it was ok. Electric blanket was provided and we used it during our stay.

There was nothing we didn't like

On arrival we had a warm welcome by our hosts and had help with our luggage. There was milk in the fridge and fresh bread and home made marmalade for breakfast. Our hosts were very kind and the Studio was cosy and comfortable with a lovely atmosphere.

This is a self catering property and the kitchen facilities were excellent. everything we needed and more. The whole studio was clean and tidy with seating both indoors and out in a very pleasant garden. The owners, Pam and Mike, offered us the use of a trolley to carry our luggage down to the studio, if we needed it. Definitely would go again for longer next time. A peaceful and quiet area to relax in. A nice thought with the milk, bread, butter and marmalade for guest use.

Our weekend break was not long enough.

Location was very peaceful. Comfortable and warm. Helpful and pleasant hosts. Plenty of attractions in the surrounding area.

The Lodge is an adorable hideaway! I knew I loved it before I arrived! It is cute and comfy and Pam’s extra touches like homemade marmalade are a dream!

The only thing I didn’t like was leaving! Could have stayed for a month!

This was our second visit - it's a wonderful place to stay, so quiet and peaceful, yet there is plenty to do in the surrounding area and nice places to walk. Accommodation is spacious and comfortable, kitted out with everything you would possibly need. Great wifi. Pam and Mike are exceptional hosts. We look forward to our next visit!

This place is a hidden jewel in Somerset and a must visit for anyone looking for a retreat and have a quiet relaxing break from the busy world. The garden and the farm next door makes you feel you are in your own private place. The house itself is spacious with all the facilities required for a very comfortable stay. Pam and Mike have been wonderful hosts - thank you. We stayed for three days and already miss the place, so definitely going to go back again next year.

We had a comfortable stay in The Studio. The property has everything you might need: well equipped kitchen, electric blankets, and lots of books and DVDs. The location was perfect, it was close to the town, but at the same time it felt remote and secluded. We particularly liked the conservatory overlooking the fields and a beautiful garden. Pam and Mike are exceptional hosts, they went extra mile to make sure we had everything we need, but at the same time respecting our privacy. I strongly reccomend The Studio - definitely 10 out of 10!

The property is much larger than I had envisaged from photographs. It is a true holiday home, rather than just a property. Pam and Mike have thought of everything possible to ensure your comfort and convenience, and offered many helpful suggestions for things to do and places to visit. There is a fabulous variety of books provided, including extremely useful guides to walks and local attractions. It is ideally located to explore South Somerset; Wiltshire and Dorset are close by, and it's not too far to the coast. The family-run Quarry Inn, just five minutes' walk away, is welcoming and serves delicious meals. There is a convenience store a further five minutes on from the pub, providing all basic requirements, with friendly staff. COVID measures were complied with everywhere, for extra peace of mind. There are a myriad of local public footpaths nearby and throughout the area, and many historic locations and beautiful gardens within a hour's drive. I was able to make great use of my National Trust and English Heritage memberships. There is also wildlife on your doorstep. Pheasants and squirrels visited the beautiful garden regularly.

There is genuinely nothing I can think of.
