It was ok.

Everything was correct. The service is really pleasant. I know Sassari, and the hôtel is really well located.

Parking is not really easy.

We were happy to leave this horrible place at the end of the 5 days. We hated every aspects of our stay and when we shared feedback with the hotel manager, he actually agreed with our many complains, but explained to us that they renovate little by little and in the meantime, they know that in August they can charge whatever they want (in that case 250 euros/night) as the island is packed with tourists. He owned the fact that it was way overpriced, but that low supply of hotels and high demand from customers in summer gives them the power to do so. I was in disbelief

The hotel is really outdated from all possible aspect. Let it be management, infrastructure or decorations. In the initial room, the air con was broken, so we had to change room, the new room had a dead bulb and a smelly fridge and a leaking faucet. The walls are so thin that you can hear conversations through them. Staff starts to clean up loudly a little before 8 am. Breakfast was incredibly rudimentary (no bread, no hot chocolate, only one fruit option...), people had to queue on average 15 min (and the closer to 10 am, the longer the wait) to access the staff who then did not speak a word of English (not even milk or water - zero) and who lost patience very quickly and then went on with serving the next person. At 10:15 am they would kick everyone out from the breakfast area despite having served the last clients just 2 minutes before.. FYI: In case you still decide to stay there, you may want to know that their check out time is 11 am, unlike what is said on their Booking details. They will call you and ask you to leave.

Air conditioning worked well and the bathroom was spotless. In general very clean. There was always somebody at the counter even at night, so you didn't have to bring your key around with you.

The place is a bit old. We didn't mind, but some people might. Breakfast was not that good, but still OK. The location is a little far from the city centre but has the upside of having parking space around (although you have to pay for it). Having a (even small) balcony would have been a plus.
