The location is absolutely stunning- All of Willemstadt is within walking distance, the waterfront is super beautiful, the restaurant amazing, and the seaside rendez-vous room we had came with the most amazing terrace.

Das Apartment war geräumig mit Blick aufs Meer, so wie beschrieben.
Die Einrichtung ist wie beschrieben, die Betten waren sehr bequem.
Die Putzfrau und der Hausmeister waren immer sehr nett und freundlich.
Unser Kühlschrank funktionierte nicht ordentlich, erst nach der dritten Nachfrage beim Hotelpersonal wurde dieser dann getauscht.
Das Personal regiert hier leider nicht sehr professionelle und war über unsere Beschwerde genervt bis verärgert. Bei 300$ die Nacht sollte dies nicht sein und da haben wir auf Curacao auch schon ein deutlich bessere Preis-Leistungsverhältnis erlebt! Dies war die einzige "Beschwerde" die wir wirklich freundlich vorgetragen haben. Bei einer Abreise ist es ja sonst üblich einmal nachzufragen, wie es einem gefallen hat, ob man evtl. Hilfe beim Gepäck braucht etc. dies hat leider auch nicht stattgefunden, was wir ebenfalls enttäuschend fanden. Unser Schlafzimmer war zur Straße gelegen, diese war in der Nacht sehr laut, da hier einige getunte Fahrzeuge jede Nacht vorbei fuhren und die Fenster nicht wirklich dicht sind, hierfür kann das Hotel nur bedingt etwas. Wir waren jedoch vor zwei Jahren in einem anderen Hotel zwei Häuser weiter und dort war dies nicht der Fall.

Location is excellent. Close ride by taxi or bus to the major beach areas. The staff were attentive and gracious. Also coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Our room’s king bed was 2 twins together which as we all know creates a trough.

cozy atmosphere and inviting ambiance. the bathroom was very luxurious
the room was very obviously not clean, they had a star decoration hanging on the wall which you could notice was collecting dust upon dust. the ac even on 16 degrees celsius had me dying of the warmth when getting ready for dinner. when i was double checking if i left anything under the bed i found an atm receipt that wasnt mine so that said enough about how the rooms are cleaned.

The location is great and close to the best bars and restaurants, and the hotel has a nice and cozy design. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. The food and service at the restaurant are not very good, but the coffee is good and the view at the restaurant is great overlooking the ocean. The rooms are pretty quiet which is also a great plus, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained.
The king size bed is actually just two twin mattresses put together, so inevitably you or your partner falls into the crack in between the beds which is uncomfortable. Additionally, the bathroom has a door with big window in it which can make going to the bathroom feel awkward/uncomfortable.

10 points for the staff, they were very friendly and helpful, the location of the hotel is great.
Room and bathroom were very very small and there is no place for storage, for a longer stay I wouldn’t recommend BijBlauw.
Also the rooms could need a renovation in my opinion, especially the bathroom as the toilet was not working properly and there was an inconvenient smell.
The Wifi in the room didn’t work which was annoying.
For the price paid I expected more.

staff was exceptionally friendly. Also the restaurant was really good, they organized to prepare two vegan dishes, that were not mentioned on the menu. Amazing location of facility directly in front of the ocean!
Room was really small, and didn‘t represent what we were expecting. The value of the room was in our opinion overprized

there were ants and cockroaches in our room! literally crawling on the bed. the property definitely lacks higiene our stay was very unpleasant.

the staff was amazing.
Hated the stained towels all the time, the ants coming out of the walls and infesting all our things. The view was OK, once you got to the end of balcony lots of trash and stinks. The light is bright all night and there is a camera right in the middle of balcony which makes it hard for privacy. Lastly the stairs up was steep and not recommended when you have bigger luggage.

Attractive room, clean, peaceful, nice deck upstairs. Best features were the (1) restaurant (right by water, outdoors, excellent food) and (2) kind and helpful staff.
The neighborhood of Pietermaii in Willemstad had a lot of partially renovated buildings, so seemed a little rough around the edges (though safe and clean). Willemstad overall a little disappointing (not beachy). However, you have the rest of Curacao for beautiful beaches. Did have to go up a long flight of stairs.

BijBlauw staff really makes you feel at home. The room was excellent, with good beds, fine bathroom and tasteful design. .
BijBlauw doens't include breakfast, while room price is quiet high. The breakfast available at the restaurant is good, but expensive and not worth the price. I think they can do better in terms of breakfast for guests.

The fact that Booking let's their affiliates use these filtered photos that make these rooms look so much different than they are but you rate the excellent. I had to get another hotel while I was supposed to be on vacation. never again
