We stayed here for a week with 11 HS Seniors! Location was perfect, house was great, except it would be nice to have it stocked a little more with paper products.

The home itself is beautiful home and the size is perfect for large groups. There is a separate 2 bedroom/kitchen/living space that can be accessed through the garage with 2 bdrm/bath/living space. From a space perspective and a location perspective, it's great. We usually stay in another Mission Beach property so we were happy to find a larger space. What was truly disappointing began when we walked in and were hit with a strong smell of water damage/mildew/mold. We initially thought it just needed to be aired out but that wasn't the case. The smell lasted the entire stay. The night we arrived, I stepped in standing water at the bottom of the stairs-knowing there had been a lot of rain, I chalked it up to that. I reached out to the property management company and she told me they would get someone out to look at it-the standing water did lessen considerably however, different variations of mushrooms starting sprouting along the entry way along the base boards and in the bathroom of the second space. I again let the property managers know and she told me it was likely due to rain and they would get the maintenance person over to look-there was no communication about whether that happened. We kept the kids away from the mushrooms/mildew/black appearing mold (which was concerning) growing around them but the smell never did lessen. Considering the price, it was a disappointment. I hope they are able to resolve this issue so others do not have the same experience.

Property was well kept and very close to the beach and boardwalk

The house is great for a big family that wants to spend lots of time together and need space at times. We had a great location and access to everything we needed for kids, teens, moms, and grandmas.

We loved our stay!! We stayed with a group of 13 and had soooo much extra space. Everyone was more than comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay! Great communication from the host prior to check in and though the stay. Really loved that they had beach chairs and towels for us to use as well. Only feedback (super small) would be the house didn’t have any spices like salt and pepper. Wish we would have checked before our grocery run. 100% would recommend!!!

Spent 4 nights with 5 couples celebrating a milestone birthday. Beautiful house very conveniently located close to Mission Beach. Even the rain on the last day didn’t damper the fun times!

My family (father, brother, wife, infant, and myself) spent a week at this location and loved every minute of it. The place was exactly as we were expecting and it was close to everything in Mission Bay. I would highly recommend this house for a large family gathering. The Howe was extremely responsive and made sure we were taken care of. Do yourself a favor and book this place!

We had a group of 10 guys staying there for my little brother's bachelor party. It is such a cool house and the 2 separate units were perfect for us. The location couldn't be any better. Right off the beach and close to all the spots in Mission Beach and about a 30-minute walk up the boardwalk to Pacific Beach. I'm going to be recommending this place to anyone that has a larger group visiting SD.

This was our 3rd or 4th year staying in this house. Everything is perfect. Location is convenient. Beach stuff fully stocked. We love this place and can't wait to come back and visit.

My family and I have made a yearly trip to San Diego the past 3 years and this location was ideal for us! Walking distance to many food options plus entertainment for the kids at Belmont park. The location to the beach was fantastic as well! The house is very nicely decorated and updated. Unfortunately, my cousin had to work this year so he utilized the 3rd story upper deck to work from and was still able to enjoy the beach sounds and sights. We had 2 suvs and an extended cab and bed truck and were able to fit all 3 in the parking spaces allotted huge bonus for San Diego parking😉 We would definitely stay here again!

Had a wonderful time staying at this property with my family (spouse, 3 sons and oldest son’s girlfriend). Easy 1 minute walk to Mission Beach; garage parking was very convenient. Quick drive to San Diego Zoo & other non-beach tourist locations. House well equipped for cooking which was great. Highly recommend this lovely accommodation. Would definitely return to this specific beach location!!

This is a wonderful property. Well kept. Perfect location to the beach. Worked out perfectly for our group of 11 adults and six little kids.

We had such a great time. The house was beautiful and in the perfect location. The property host was attentive to all of our needs and very quick to respond if we had any questions or concerns. We will definitely stay at this property in the future. We loved how it was a large enough property to accommodate our large family.

We are a family of 16 with 3 married adults and grandchildren so the home was perfect as everyone had their own rooms and bath rooms. We reserved the entire home that gave us the 2 kitchens for lots of home cooked meals that saved us $ by eating in for most of our meals. The spacious mid floor and patio was great as we had plenty of room for gathering for game and talent night and meals. The home was well stocked with all the appliances, dishes, large serving bowls and plenty of beach towels and sand chairs and toys. Extra bonus was the 2 sets washers and dryers! The family especially appreciated the very short walk to the beach and the fun zone that was a much nicer than I had anticipated. Thank you VRB and to our Host Liz Kramer who was always prompt in replying to my questions.

Loved the patios and gathering rooms…perfect for walking to the beach, shops, amusement park/rides, and comfortable relaxing with a large group…enough room to spread out and play games along with spaces for privacy. The property had everything we needed..from the cooking/kitchen area to beach playthings.

Beautiful home! Location just perfect! Check plumbing of showers on 1st and 3rd floors did not drain very timely! Water built up. Over all experience excellent!

Can’t say enough positive things about our stay. Proximity to the beach is unbeatable. Very cool area on mission beach walking distance to a lot of bars and restaurants. It isn’t often that the in person product is better than pictures, but I can undoubtedly say the pictures do not do this place justice. 3rd foot balcony view is unbeatable.

This house was perfect for a multi family vacation. We loved the location!

Aesthetically it looks nice, however walking on it was uncomfortable and very difficult for handicapped and children. We hated it. The mattresses were not comfortable. Otherwise the price was great and the location was perfect. The Property manager was on top of all my questions and concerns. I was very happy with them.

The ouse was fantastic, we loved it, perfect for our group to meet in the open spaces and close to everything for us to get out and enjoy the city!

The house was perfect for us and our grown children. We loved it and will stay here again. Highly recommend. However, due to covid there were a few changes that we didn't anticipate. There are NO food items in the kitchen including basic things like salt and pepper. There are no hair dryers and no shampoo/conditioner. Also the hand soap is super tiny. None of these things were a big deal but it would have been nice to know further in advance which is why I'm posting it here. Overall, this house was super comfortable and worked very well for us.

This house was perfect for our friends vacation. Myself and eight friends rented this house for a weekend and everything went great! Perfect location and all the amenities one could ask for. The full kitchen and grill helped us save money on food and spend quality time cooking together. All the rooms were clean and comfy and everyone slept well every night. Five stars across the board - look no further for your Mission Beach rental this is it!

This house is everything and more. This is our second time visiting this house and we love it. Close to the beach, beautiful clean house, big enough for our family, and very accommodating management. Thanks again for a great trip!

Our extended family had a wonderful time. The beds and towels were a bit tired. 5* otherwise.

We rented both units for our extended family totaling 14 people. The place is spacious and we never felt like there were too many people. We all loved the house and location. The house is nicely decorated and has all the necessary amenities. Plenty of activities and restaurants within walking distance. It was nice watching the sunset from the upper patio while enjoying a cocktail and grilling. We feel this was the best home we could have chosen for our vacation. We are already thinking about a return trip. Don’t hesitate to book this property.

This was one of the nicest places we have stayed. Location was excellent-within 15-20 minutes of most of the attractions. There is something for everyone. We had 12 people ranging in age from 7 to 73 and all found something to do. Beach access was great.-although those of us use to swimming in the Atlantic Ocean found the water a little chilly-but that did not stop the kids from going in and having a great time. San Diego is an amazing city to visit and I would recommend this place to anyone thinking of visiting this wonderful city..
