This was a well-appointed house that had everything that my husband and I needed. The master bed was very comfortable. The house is in an area that is convenient to shopping, restaurants, bike trails, and beaches. We would stay here again next time we are in Venice.

We love the house, Dee was available and helpful every step of the way. The pool was amazing. The kitchen was beautifully stocked with tools. We had family visit for dinner and they were impressed with the house as we were we will.

Really nice house in Venice Florida. Property owner was responsive and friendly. House was very clean, well stocked with all the cooking utensils and bedding & towels needed. Beach gear, kayaks, bikes etc. etc. Washer and dryer. Allowed our dogs which was so nice to have them with us on vacation. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. Easy to ride bikes around without lots of cars. Pool is fantastic. Highly recommend this property.

House and pool were lovely

We have stayed in Venice the last few years in rentals within the same South Venice neighborhood, so I would like to say I know the value and quality in the area. We had a few bumps in the road with this rental, and the host made it right immediately. Our Kitchen refrigerator was broken and freezing all the food, and the second I made the host aware she had a new fridge in the garage for us to use in less than 24 hours. She then offered to pay for the damaged goods from the fridge not working. We did have a small amount of mold in the bathroom shower ceiling, and the second I told the host she scrubbed it with bleach in less than 24 hours again. I will say the host was willing to help and responded always with a solution. She was great! I do feel the place is a little run down for the high cost we paid. The photos online make it look brand new. It definitely had some wear and tear, but was clean. The towels had some staining from overuse, the couch was worn, little damages. That is the reason I am deducting a star. The location is great, less than 10 min to manasota beach. 15 min or less to downtown Venice.

I waited this property of four out of five because it delivered everything it promised except for the privacy. The property was impacted by hurricane Ian however the property owner did not notify Us in advance that there would not be a fence around the property. Additionally there were pieces of wood in the backyard and you couldn't even close one of the side Gates to the fence. One of the screen doors for the pool enclosure also did not lock. It would have been great to know this before we actually took the vacation and there was plenty of time to provide a notice or even offer to return some of the nightly rate which was higher than we've ever paid for a vacation. The house itself was very clean. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable and the water pressure was amazing. Unfortunately the couches in the living room have been very worn and don't look anything like the pictures. Everyone struggled every night to open and close of the recliners which made an awful noise every time you opened and close them. We were happy to be able to take our small dog however had to keep him on the leash the whole time due to the fence. The kitchen was a great size. The only other issue was that the individuals for the water system came out and we were not expecting them as we were told they only come at the beginning of the month and our booking was in the middle of the month. We had to wait 45 minutes before turning on the showers and had to delay our departure to the beach one of the days. Then when the water was turned back on the sulfur smell was awful throughout the whole house. With respect to both the fence and the sulfur smell the property manager was very responsive. The washer and dryers worked amazing and each bathroom had a hair dryer. The pool was warm. It would have been nice if pool heater cover had been removed before we got there. When we had to remove it manually it had a lot of dirt on top of it which all spilled into the pool so we had to wait a bit to use it. The neighborhood wasn't as quiet as described. There is a rooster very nearby that grows every single morning multiple times. Overall our family had a lot of fun but would likely not stay here again.
