This place is the bomb. 9 family members from NYC, Nashville, and the desert spent a week here and every one of us was distraught to see the week end. We walked to great restaurants and shopping -- and spent hours sitting and talking by the pool. The house itself was spotless upon arrival and the "property ambassador" was there to give us a detailed tour and instructions on how to operate every appliance and gadget. The beds and bedding were sublime and the kitchen fully stocked. We are already making plans for our next visit.

This was a beautiful house with impeccable decoration. It was like a transport back to 1960s Palm Springs and old California. The kids loved the pool and grounds. The rooms were comfortable. It was a lovely and easy walk into town. For an older house, we were amazed at how clean it was. It was also nice to have the in-law house with 2 bedrooms slightly separate from the main house- perfect for a group. David was very communicative and friendly and answered all texts and emails super quick. Highly recommend the house.

Loved our recent stay at the Celebrity Hideaway for my mom’s 90th birthday. Easy walk to shops and restaurants and amazing yard and pool for hanging out. David is a wonderful host and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing birthday get together.

We just LOVE this property. We are four couples and the layout and home and location work well for group, as well as individual schedules. It's cozy and homey and just really great....

Very well appointed, roomy and comfortable. Pool area was lovely and a huge hit with everyone. Neighborhood was upscale and walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. Management left nothing to chance and was available to answer any questions.

Three of us girlfriends travelled from Nevada to Palm Springs for an extended weekend with our adult girls. We managed to eat, drink and shop our way through Palm Springs! But the best part of the stay was the time we spent at the Celebrity Hideway lounging by the pool and enjoying this beautiful home. David was so responsive if there was anything we needed or if we had questions about anything regarding the home or the area. It is no small feat to keep 9 women happy but you certainly succeeded! Thanks for the wonderful, memorable weekend!

Stayed here with a group of friends and it was easily the most fantastic vacation rental I have ever stayed at. The house is meticulously appointed and has everything you could need. David and team were so hospitable and helpful and accommodating. If you’re looking for a place to stay in PS, this is by far the best. My friends and I will definitely be back!

This was such a great experience, and David, who checked me in and handled any communication was seriously so amazing. We experienced one of the only times there was a lightning/rain storm and David was very communicative with us throughout to make sure nothing went wrong or to see if we had any concerns (there were a few outages in the area). The house was set for everything we needed for the few days we were there in terms of household necessities (toilet paper, paper towels, initial toiletries etc) but just know that you will need to provide any kitchen staples so add things like olive oil and butter to your shopping list if you plan on cooking in :) But David was very upfront with that when we checked in so we were prepared to add what we needed to our list of goodies. The neighborhood is so charming, with many celebrity homes dotting the surrounding area (made for some great walking tours, which David will share with you if you ask!). Would DEFINITELY stay again and would recommend it for chill groups that want to lay by the pool, cook family style meals and just have a relaxing Palm Springs trip.

This is a beautiful place. We loved that so much of the original house was kept. David was friendly and accommodating, the pool was delightful, and we had a great time. Highly recommend!

Wow- I cannot say enough about this place! I can truly say that this was the best stay we all had experienced. From our Property Ambassador to our accommodations, seriously, they took care of it and everything essential was provided. If I am ever in Palm Springs, CA again, I will be staying at this property. The property was amazing

Great property, amazing yard and pool. Great interior. You can’t play music outside but we had plenty of fun, kids enjoyed themselves and we had zero issues.

House is in highly desirable neighborhood of Las Palmas. Easy to walk to great shopping and restaurants. The pool is great and it's a well serviced house.

This is a great house for groups. Spacious rooms, separate casita, large dining room, all well kept and clean. The yard space was larger than we expected. Lot's of areas to relax, in addition to the resort style pool area. Stunning views from the grass area, especially during sunset hours. Communication with David, our onsite contact, was fast and welcoming. We forgot to pay for the pool to be heated and within 30 minutes someone was there to turn it on. The pool temperature was perfect. The surrounding neighborhood is incredible. I loved early morning walks, looking at these massive properties. We also all loved how close we were to restaurants, shops, coffee, etc. It became a morning ritual to grab coffee from Koffi. It was a 5 minute walk. Our stay was amazing but we did have one big drawback . They are not kidding when they say "no outdoor music." You can't have music or any loud noise (including screaming kids) outdoors 24/7, no exceptions or you will get evicted without refund. They do mention this at booking but we didn't realize how serious it was. This is apparently a city enforced ordinance for all vacation house rentals in the city of Palm Springs so we couldn't be upset with Mod Mansions. It was a bummer to not have music by the pool and to have to keep telling our kids to keep it down when they were having fun in the pool. We all adjusted to the strict outdoor rules and still had a wonderful time. This would probably be a better fit for adults who are perfectly fine with putting their earbuds in while relaxing by the pool. It truly is a nice place and you can't beat the location.

I had a wonderful 80th Birthday week In this spacious and well appointed house. There are more shops and restaurants of all types within easy walking distance than we could sample in one week.

The home was just as described. Beautiful, spacious, and private. It was the perfect way for us to relax and getaway before we headed out to our festival. The home was clean and very comfy. The house manager was very responsive and helpful.

This is a beautiful and perfect property. It was very clean and we could tell it has been well taken care of. Our host, David, met us at the house exactly when he said he would. He was great, telling us about the house and making sure we knew how everything ran. The location of the house is PERFECT! We could easily walk into town and to the Thursday night street fair. The house and location were absolutely perfect for us. 4 couples, each with our own bedroom and bath, with a spare bedroom to house all our empty luggage. The property was extremely clean and well-maintained, and we loved the location...within close walking distance of downtown Palm Springs, restaurants, bars and even church! Jim, our property contact, was very approachable, answered all our questions promptly. A wonderful place to spend your Palm Springs vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We (2couples) have rented this house before and love this location. It is a great area for walking our dogs (4 of them which the owners allowed!) and downtown shopping and restaurants are only a few steps away. The house is very comfortable and well furnished. Our two dogs loved escaping to the Casita. If you were trying to cook for more than 4 people, you might find the kitchen a bit cozy. Also, the newly added bedroom was quite nice, but the shower never got hot enough and the flow was too restricted. Bottom line, we will return!

I have to start out by saying the Property Managers of this house were awesome. James and Kenny assured me I had nothing to worry about and they were right. Kenny met us at the house and showed us the ropes so I felt like we were at home. We had an amazing Thanksgiving dinner with my new Husbands family and my family. This house was so cozy sitting in the living room with the fireplace and all of us hanging out as a family. We each had our own rooms and they were all so private. The Pool was refreshing and completely Heated so in November's cold weather we were able to go swimming. We were walking distance to downtown and loved walking around the neighborhood. I cant say enough about the experience we all had, now we have decided to make this a tradition and pick a new place and house every year. Thank you so much for making my first Thanksgiving as a newlywed and with my new family a wonderful Memory :)
