Beautiful villa with amazing views. 10 of us stayed with ages ranging from 1 to 71. Only negative was the walk up the hill which for some of us was a struggle so would definitely recommend a car.

We weren’t at all disappointed as the property allowed all ten of us to have space from each other whilst the communal areas were excellent, especially the downstairs bar area. The views are wonderful across the valley but fair to say the walk back from El Portet requires stamina.

Villa Fleur had everything we could have wanted and more. Beautiful tranquil spot yet easy to get to beach, shops and eateries. We will be back next year.

Villa Fleur was just as described and the self-contained downstairs accommodation was ideal for two couples, one with a small child. It's an easy downhill walk into El Portet, which has a couple of nice bars and a much more expensive restaurant. We caught the kids' road train into Moraira a couple of times (the toddler *loved* it) and at only 3 euros return, it's a bargain. (It runs from the car park in El Portet to Moraira centre, but times vary.) The beaches at Calpe and Javea are nice, and we also spent a day in Valencia, which is very impressive. All in all, an attractive, spacious and well-equipped villa in a lovely part of Spain. Highly recommended.

Just come back from a weeks stay at Villa Fleur to celebrate my 50th birthday. On day of arrival there had been a storm and it was pouring with rain and the central heating wasn't working. But we expected the weather to be a bit hit and miss at this time of year. That is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 as it was cold in the night but overall the villa was as expected. Clean and fully equipped. My daughter, husband and friend arranged for a chef to to come and cook on my birthday and the meal was lovely. There was also a bespoke birthday cake made for me. The villa is situated on a hill and it is a strenuous walk back up from El Portet and the town but it was good exercise and it was our choice not to hire a car. The hot tub is a lovely luxury addition and was used often by us and our children. I would definitely recommend this villa to others. In the summer months you really wouldn't need to have heating and the storm we encountered was a rarity according to everyone we spoke to so probably doesn't really matter about the heating anyway. But if going out of season, may be something you want to check on. However, the owner was very accommodating and brought us heaters when she realised the heating was not working. My grandchildren absolutely loved it and my 5 year old granddaughter declared it was 'the bestest holiday she had ever had as the villa, or villa, as she called it, felt like a proper home. From the first enquiry the owners provided an excellent customer service, my questions where answered promptly and information was provided efficiently. Villa Fleur is an older style villa with more character than the modern boxes scattered about the hillside. We were a family of 8, for a few days 9, and had more than enough room. The bedrooms down by the pool were used by the children and their parents, giving us a bit of breathing space upstairs. Loved having the pool heated it was used almost every day, such a bonus in October. The views from the terraces are wonderful we particularly liked the little terrace with the BBQ, nice and sheltered if there was a breeze. The villa is so well equipped we did tend to eat in quite a bit, however there is an abundance of restaurants to try in Moraira, you will find the staff welcoming and polite. We walked to Moraira from the villa it took us around 20 minutes, but only because we kept stopping to admire the views. There is a mini market in El Portet where we got fresh bread, pastries and croissants most mornings. I really can't fault the villa and would highly recommend anyone wanting peace and relaxation to stay here. This is a beautiful region of Spain with a breathtaking coast line, we had a day in Denia, Javea, Calpe and Altea all stunning coastal towns and within easy reach from the Villa. This is the 4th time we have stayed in this area and love it, we will keep returning again and again.

We have just returned from a week long stay at Villa Fleur, we had previously stayed here in 2006 and looked forward to returning. Our party consisted of family consisting of 3 couples and 2 children. The Villa is in a great position, fairly private and with fabulous views from the villa, both terraces and the pool. The sunsets are stunning and the whole ambiance is peaceful and homely. The villa is very clean, comfortable with everything that you need for a great holiday, the pool is big enough and very inviting with enough sun beds and outdoor furniture for the amount of guests. It was lovely to meet the owners who were very welcoming, but had always been very helpful and accommodating during the whole booking process. El Portet is peaceful and the beach bar is a great place to 'people watch' over a glass of Rioja and a plate of sardines. Moraira is within walking distance, although a car is advisable and is more lively and has some great shops and a weekly market. We had a brilliant holiday and really didn't want to leave, I hope we can return again soon.

Villa FIeur is a lovely well equipped villa with beautiful views. My family and I had a wonderful holiday. The villa couldn't have been more perfect for us, the layout suited us in our little family groups. The villa has many areas for people to relax in if seeking peace away from everyone else, although there were 11 of us we certainly didn't feel on top of each other. The pool has sunshine all day and it's only a short walk down to El Portet beach, it's not much further into Moraira itself. I would certainly recommend the villa and also the area to friends, and would like to return myself. The owners have been helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

We really enjoined our stay in Villa Fleur during our two weeks stay in june 2013, it felt like home. It was nicely furnished, the beds were comfortable and all bathrooms had a high standard. All information we received in advance was in accordance with what we could find on the web and information we received from the owners. Even as we were 9 persons, 5 adults and 4 children age 3 to 13 years, in the house during the stay it didn't feel crowded in any way, it was always possible to find a relaxing place of your own. The pool and the terrace was an excellent area where we spent a lot of time as the sun was shining there the whole day. The El Porte beach was located 10/15 minutes walking distance from the Villa. It was excellent with a nice snady beach, and it was cleaned up every day. Two nice restuarants close to the beach served lunches and cold drinks. Moraira is a charming little town with a marina, harbour and a lot of nice restaurants and coffeshops. We would highly recommend Villa Fleur! Britt and Emmerich Sunne Sweden

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at Villa Fleur and i can honestly say it was perfect! The description, location, layout and facilities were described perfectly, although we didnt realise that one double bedroom with en suite was on the ground floor - although this didnt mater at all. Upon arrival the villa was spotless and is very well maintained, the pool man came and cleaned the pool with no problems at all. Christine rang to check all was okay and gave us some great tips for bars and the little train to get into Moraira which was very much appreciated. i would definintely recommend this villa to anyone, (and i already have done) as it really is a fantastic place, so peaceful and relaxing. You really do have a lovely home! - I would definitely return to what i think is the nicest part of Spain that i have EVER been to.

The villa exceeded our expectations. It is in a good location approximately 10-15mins walk to EL-Portet Beach although it is uphill coming back. However it is worth the climb as the position of the villa means there are excellent views. Great base for a family holiday with plenty of room for everyone. Sun and shade can be found on the different terraces and great sunsets. The pool was very clean and welcoming and was checked twice a week. Owners provided excellent customer service throughout and answered all our questions, advised on hire cars etc. They even returned a pair of slippers one of our party left behind. EL Portet and Moraira are both nice places and the Moraira market on Friday is worth a visit. Calpe which is a 20 minute drive away offeres a great beach with plenty of bars and restaurants with Benidorm a further 30mins away. We would recommend this villa and hope to return ourselves in the future.

We heard about Villa Fleur and Moraira from friends who raved on that this little area is Spain's best kept secret. As we needed a total break from a difficult year this seemed the ideal solution. Neither disappointed. Villa Fleur is just delightful. The views are lovely and an aura of calm enveloped us. A week here should be on the National Health. You only hear the birds singing and crickets chirping, it is so peaceful. The villa is extremely comfortable and felt home from home. The owners have put a lot of effort into making it so, the loving care is obvious. I would recommend new photographs to show off the new furniture especially outside. It is even nicer than it appears. It is an older villa but has more character and a homeliness that new bland villas cannot achieve. Now we know why the locals whisper 'don't tell anyone how nice it is here' and want to keep Moraira a hidden gem. It is perfectly formed and totally charming. A village by the sea where the restauranteurs, the shopkeepers, in fact everybody has a smile on their face and clearly adores where they live. The countryside and surrounding towns are well worth visiting but in the future we shall stay put. Moraira has everything. So many wonderful restaurants, bars and coffee shops,many with views to die for. Gorgeous coastline with proper footpaths. Le Dauphin at El Portet is a most exquisite restaurant and the food inspired. We very much look forward to returning to Villa Fleur but like everybody else we don't like to mention it!

We have had the most wonderful holiday at Villa Fleur. We were a party of two families that included four children. The villa was very well equipped with everything we needed for a carefree holiday. The villa is full of character and the owners have clearly given the decor much consideration. The pool and surrounding terrace is an absolute delight affording sunshine for most of the day. There is an adjacent covered terrace providing total shade in which to relax, read books etc. The views from the villa are wonderful and the sunsets amazing. The beautiful bay of El Portet with Cafes/Bar facilities is an absolute must. Just a short distance away is the little town of Moraira retaining much of its Spanish identity and providing an abundance of reasonably priced restaurants. We highly recommend this villa and hope to return in the not too distant future.
