The condo was well-equipped, and as someone who has been in thousands of units as a beachfront real estate photographer, this one definitely looks as good in person as it does in the photos. I will not stay at any resorts that have carpet or fabric furniture, as that is just gross. The kinds of cleanings these places get would never remove the sand and body oils from such materials. The good news is that this place is all tile and bonded leather furniture with plenty of seating. The resort is not overwhelmed with amenities, but what it does have suffices.
The only setback in the unit was that there are no washer and dryers, which you would find in 95% of any beachfront rentals. I realize that the building has a coin laundry, but no one carries coins anymore, and I knew we were not going to spend time doing laundry in a public facility.
Aside from that misleading notation in the listing, we were also only allowed one parking space for a unit advertised to sleep eight people. The listing is very vague about that, but you will find that out later when they call you on the phone a week after your booking to let you know it's not allowed.
I just recommend taking your one parking pass to the local UPS store and getting it copied for your additional parking space. Even during peek season there was 80% parking availability.

This is a great corner unit that has been updated. The location was great and loved the beach chairs and umbrellas that were available. Highly recommend!

Condo was beautiful and very clean! View was fantastic and the balconies were safe for my toddler (who tested them out and gave her mama a heart attack). Beds were comfy and there was plenty of space for our toddler to run around!

This condo is beautiful! Lots of space. Remodeled beautifully. The icemaker did not work for us. The kitchen floor was really sticky when we got there and we had to clean it ourselves. Some of the beach chairs were broken. Rainstorm One morning and the big patio door leaked inside! I’m sure the owner will want to check this out! Great location though! Walking distance to Johns Pass that has restaurants boutiques. The beach is not busy perfect for walking.

This 6th floor condo was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Livingroom is gulf facing, two bedrooms street facing. Highly recommend!

We’ve stayed in several different units within this building. This one was the nicest. Being a corner unit, it has a southern exposure, allowing beautiful light into the unit and it has a wonderful view of the Gulf. Check in was as easy as using the door code - no stopping at an office for a key. A very clean and comfortable place to stay with all amenities you’ll need. We had no problems and therefore never needed to contact anyone. I would highly recommend this unit.

We enjoyed our time at Madeira Beach very much. The amenities were basic. Would have loved more than one dish towel, perhaps an electric griddle would have been nice. I do actually cook. A kettle for hot water. But all being said we had a very nice time.

This is an excellent unit and a beautiful location. It is large and well laid out. Could not have asked for a better unit.
My only complaint: I arrived on a Friday evening. There was no hot water. I called the provided support number. They simply said that it was a building issue, that I would need to communicate with maintenance and there was nothing they could do. They did not take my name or unit information and there was no follow up about the issue. I spoke with building maintenance on Monday (two full days with intermittent hot water) and he explained that the main building water heater had gone out and they were limping along with a smaller backup unit. By Monday afternoon hot water was restored. This was an inconvenience, but all-in-all did not distract from my enjoyment. The unit is excellent.

This corner unit is completely updated! Plenty of living space and nice balcony view of the gulf. Pool deck was clean with plenty of chairs (could use more umbrellas). Definitely will recommend this unit and NextHome rentals!

We had a wonderful time at our beachfront condo. The location was great, the property was clean and nice, and the pool and hot tub were wonderful! Despite a few issues with the elevator during our stay, we’d absolutely return to this condo.

We were so pleased with our unit! It was very tastefully decorated, really clean, had amazing views from both balconies, was well stocked, in a great location, and more! The only "complaint" we had was the elevator. It wasn't working part of the time we were there, and it made it difficult to climb six flights of stairs with little ones and beach supplies to carry. Other than that, we couldn't have been more pleased, and I'd still give it a solid 9 and would definitely stay again!

The unit was over all nice. The elevator was absolutely HORRIBLE to the point my 9 month pregnant neice had to do 6 flights of stairs on several occasions. At night while waiting for the elevator there were tons of cockroaches running around.And there is no air in the elevator causing it to get extremely hot. The pool area is okay the gates can be a little problematic. Wish I had noticed the master is not located on the ocean side prior to booking but that was my fault. The unit does not have a washer and dryer they are located on another floor and require payment.The unit door itself I found a few times was not locked when it should have been so make sure to check it when leaving.The "Welcome basket" merely contained a couple tea bags, couple single coffee bags, brochures and a few bags microwave popcorn.

This was a quick family trip. The unit was amazing. Our unit was on the 6th floor and the elevator was broken down 80% of the 4 nights we were there. My husband has health issues and could not leave the unit, 75% of the stay which was a REAL bummer as we do not get to vacation often. Additionally, this was the last trip with our college students for a bit if time.

We had a great stay and would love to return. Very nice place with recent updates. Everything we could have hoped for including beach umbrellas, beach towels, and even toys. The only negative is the elevator - sometimes it doesn't work. We'd still go back though. Thank you for an excellent stay!

Let me start by saying the unit was EXCEPTIONAL. Couldn't have asked for much more. Nicely furnished, with all the cooking utensils we could have needed. Now for the negatives: the elevator was out of order FIVE times during our week stay. Climbing 6 flights of stairs with groceries and little kids is awful. Even when it worked, it was the slowest elevator I have ever used. It is no doubt ten years past its useful life. This is a serious life safety issue. We also found out a few days before we left that the building was being painted. Incessant beeping from the lift they were using during our entire stay. We loved the area and the unit but won't consider renting it again until the elevator is replaced.

Fantastic property. All renovated. Well equipped. Fantastic view of sunset, beaches. Pool are only ok but right on beautiful beach. The door lock is a little problematic. Needs to be fixed. We would definitely return to this unit. Its gorgeous.

We had a very nice time. we loved that we were right on the beach with gorgeous sunset, views, and close to a lot of activities and great food. Unit was very clean and as pictured. Only issue was we weren’t giving the elevator code at check in so had to wait for other guests to help us get in. Code was in the unit which didn’t help when we got there. Also, code changed mid-stay and when I asked management for it they never responded. Again, had to get it from other guests.

When we got there the elevator had a sign that said out of order. Four over 70 year olds had to carry all the luggage up to the 6th floor, 12 flights. It was incredibly hard. Then we found out from an owner that there was a way to work it. We were very very annoyed about that but other than that and the hurricane coming, it was a beautiful place to stay.

I just want to say I have never written a review ever but after spending a week here with my son who is 13 . I can only say wow !! The place is beautiful from top to bottom very clean has everything you could ever need we cooked we swam , we lounged you name it ! Restaurants , markets , convenient stores with in walking distance. We will be staying only here from now on … all I can say is thank you !
