This home was perfect for our short trip to Venice. It was clean, cool and comfortable. It was close to everything we needed, including a short drive to the beaches. Dee provided beach towels, chairs, coolers and more. The pool was perfect for a morning swim, and an evening cool down. There were a few hiccups that were out of Dee’s control, due to a thunderstorm and short power outage, but Dee worked hard to fix those minor things. She shares her cell number from the start, and communication was prompt. She is a wonderful host! Three items to note: 1. The second bathroom is actually the pool bath, accessible through the garage and pool. It isn’t air conditioned, BUT it is easy to get to and works if you need a second toilet or shower for your traveling party. 2. The third bedroom with the pull out sofa isn’t really a bedroom so much as a separate living room with a barn door for privacy. It is the area you have to walk through to get to the pool/slider to go out back, so if you are needing a bit more privacy, be aware. 3. Thankfully, Dee and I were able to text directly after she gave me her cell in my original VRBO message, because the VRBO app and messaging was unreliable/gave errors. This was my first booking with VRBO, as I normally use AirBnB for rentals. If I book again, I’ll likely use AirBnB simply for that reason. I would absolutely come back to this property or any of Dee’s others.

We found the property last year on Vrbo. It has everything that will make your vacation even better. The furniture was nice and comfortable. The bed mattresses were as comfortable as most hotel mattresses. The thing that impressed my wife and I had the most is how clean and well kept the property is. We received an information letter from them house manager, and in it she was very informative about the properties does’ and don’ts. This was one of the nicest rentals that we have had over the years and if possible, we will stay here again.

Traditional Florida house and location. Property has been completely remodeled inside, beautiful pool, all amenities you may need/want. Host was super friendly and checked in on us partway thru the stay. Host was very accommodating and allowed us in a day early when we had to change our flights due to weather. This property and host are HIGHLY recommended!!

From the beginning, Dee the host was awesome. Fast with communication and spot on with answers to a few questions we had. House was just as advertised and neighborhood was super quiet. Pool was wonderful even with the air temps in upper 60s during the cooler times. Brought our two boxers and they loved the yard and the nearby dog friendly beaches. House is located in a great location from restaurants and shopping. Check out downtown Venice shopping and check out the Local 941 grill for great food. Overall great experience and we will be back

We enjoyed our visit to this house. It served our needs well. Our visit included seeing family in the area which was very special. Hopefully we will be back soon..

We loved the house but the A-C does not work very well. It was hot and we had fans everywhere. This is Florida and they need a better A-C unit to cool off the house. Inside the house it was 81 degrees. We loved the pool it was so nice. But other than the A-C it was a great house.

Owner was easy to access and communicate with. Pool was warm and clean even in March. Excellent beds. TV was somewhat difficult to navigate but that just might be my lack of technology skills. Generally we had a wonderful relaxing vacation.

House was very clean and comfortable. Open layout and stocked with everything you could need. Pool and patio great. Quiet neighborhood. I would definitely love to go back. Dee had great communication and instructions. Very helpful and responded ASAP. Great experience will return.
