The Lobster Trap was a great place to stay in BBH. It was spacious , clean, and comfortable. Plus, it's dog friendly. There's a nice spot to sit outside and it's a pleasant walk to downtown. We couldn't have asked for more.

Perfectly situated away from the main hustle of town but close enough to walk to downtown Boothbay Harbor within 10 mins. The house is perfectly sizes, very clean and with all amenities needed. Would highly recommend!

We love Maine! Boothbay Harbor is the place to be, and this home was a fantastic way to experience the entire town.

The living space was nice and clean. No views of anything from home. Missing a few standard kitchen
needs for maine like lobster cooking pot and crackers. This is a 2 story place and someone lives on 2nd floor but very quite person no issues at all. Great location in boothbay within walking distance of most local harbor attractions.

Nice first floor apartment with two big bedrooms. Plenty of living room and kitchen space. Could have used a couple of more frying pans….there was only one. The only issue that we had was the living room smoke/CO2 detector was missing the battery, thus it was not working. We bought some 9 Volt batteries only to discover that it required AA batteries. I was a bit uncountable with this fact. Other than that, our stay was great.

The location is amazing and is what you are paying for, however some improvements could be made to the property itself. The only AC is located in the second bedroom because the windows in the rest of the property are old and cannot fit a unit. One of the windows in the primary is broken and can't even be opened. The hairdryer is from the 1990s and is broken- there is no switch to turn it on or off. The main light in the bathroom also does not work. The place was otherwise clean, has plenty of space and like mentioned above is in a great location as it is a 10 minute walk to main downtown boothbay harbor.

Location of unit was great. Nice quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to town. Our suggestion for the bath, either put a grab bar by the toilet or put in a higher toilet. Older people really appreciate bar or higher commode. Beds were very comfortable.

Great stay and even better location!! Only addition that would have made it better would have been air conditioning in the master bedroom. ☺️

We enjoyed the stay in this beautiful town of Boothbay Harbour very much. Everything was close and reachable by foot. Apartment was clean and everything was there (shampoo, towels, soap etc).
One minor disadvantage was, that it wasn't possible to darken the bedrooms properly.

The house was nice, and clean. Neighborhood was quiet. No fire pit which was shown in original pictures. Overall it was clean and easily accessible. We appreciated the dog dishes and having washer and dryer was nice.

We were vacationing with a large family who had lodgings just a mile up the road, and the Lobster Trap was a perfect home-base for our family - clean, quiet, and spacious. Recommend!

The lower unit dwelling was clean and bright. Well furnished and equipped for our family of four. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment is cute and is super accessible to a beautiful park to picnic or bring the dog, two great lobster shacks, a beautiful downtown restaurant and everything Boothbay Harbor has to offer.
Note that there is only one window-unit AC in one of the two bedrooms.

The location was perfect for our visit. Accommodations were very clean and comfortable with all supplies that you could ever need.

It was very clean and well supplied with cleaning supplies etc.. The only issue I had is that I thought we were renting the whole house but when we got there we realized that there was someone living in or renting the upstairs. This was an issue because my son had his dog with us and although the people upstairs weren't really loud, the dog barked at every little noise. But if you don't have a dog, it shouldn't be an issue. Overall a nice place.

Very clean, comfortable beds, good amenities, location all great! Only things was need AC in king bed room and coffee pot VERY slow, other then that would stay there again and highly recommend!

We loved how clean and welcoming it was. There where many small thoughtful things that made our stay even better. Only one block from the water and a short walk to a gorgeous public park on a lake. I miss having my morning coffee outside on the deck in the cool Maine air. We highly recommend lobster trap. Can't wait to go back!!

This little apartment is a great landing pad for those interested in something close enough to walk to everything in town. There were lots of restaurants within a few blocks and it's about a half mile walk to the downtown area. There is also a really nice public park a few blocks away that has water access for anyone daring to swim. Everything in the unit was new and worked well. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 is because there was not a decent place to spend time outside. The patio outside in back had a lot of rubbish around it. There is no view of the water from this unit. We spent almost all our time outside of the apartment due to the lack of outdoor space.

The location is perfect as it is a short walk from Barrett Park as well as from takes you across the harbor to all the shops and restaurants Boothbay Harbor has to offer. The place was well equipped with kitchen utensils and toiletries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
