Cons: The house needs general house maintenance. Stove took a long time to heat up so making food took longer than usual. Kids loved the game room, but the foosball table was definitely very beat up & pretty much couldn’t play the black colored team because all the “players” were broken. Bathroom door for master bedroom didn’t open & shut properly. The outdoor lounge chairs were ripped up. My little nephew sat in one & it broke underneath him. Could have had an extra clean before we showed up as well. The side of the house had old broken toys & disintegrated pool noodles. Also to book, they use a third party to verify you & there’s a refundable deposit of $200 for any damage - Their description listed it as $100, which I believe is notable. Pros: We did appreciate the water pressure & beds were very comfortable. The bedrooms, dining area and living room were fairly clean. The location was probably our favorite part of the property as it was close to everything we needed. Check in process was easy.

Overall, our experience was great especially for the price. However, two nights a neighbor held on his horn and played loud music around 4am. I know this is hard to control. The weeds in the backyard are taking over and just need to be pulled. (Easy fix) It was still a cute place and worked for us! Easy drive or walk to downtown Gilbert and it’s adorable!!!

This house is extremely clean and what furniture is there is pretty nice. The house itself is really “ticky tack”. Doors barely close, huge gaps in one exterior door. No grout between tiles in Master bathroom. Very sparsely furnished: no chest of drawers in bedrooms, no luggage racks, no ice trays in fridge. Outdoor pool area is very very nice. Was too cold out to really enjoy it but that’s obviously no fault of owner. Neighbors are very hostile to use of house as a VRBO. Three neighbors had yard signs saying “Homes not hotels”. Also no fault of owner but worth being aware of. Owner clearly wants to offer a good product but needs to invest a bit more in this house for it to be a good choice for renters.

We enjoyed our weekend stay in Gilbert. The owner was very communicative and helpful and made sure we were comfortable and safe. I highly recommend their properties.
