Location was ok. Communication with owners was ok also

Deceptive bookings add, house was a big hill with no onsite parking and street parking was impossible. House was not clean, mats cushions, couch, and kitchen chairs were dirty, house smelt like it had been shut up for a long time, stairs where strep which is fine but they are old and worn very dangerous. We are not old and we’re still dangerous. Queen bed upstairs has broken leg and lots of dust under it. Other room which advertises two single beds, one was on the floor, not good enough. There was no room to walk through the room the second room to get to the outdoor bathroom come laundry, which should be mentioned in the add. The upstairs bathroom toilet and washing machine are way to close you can’t sit on the toilet correctly, privacy windows are none existent in either bathroom. Was well overpriced. We could of stayed anywhere in Hobart for the 320 a night.

The central location

The limited street parking was a major issue. Having to go outside to use the top bathroom. As was having the washing machine next to the toilet (I had to open the door of the machine so I could sit and use the toilet comfortably). Would suggest a new shower head that could be turned while you wait for the hot water to heat - if you left the shower door open while waiting for the water to heat it made quite a mess on the floor and if you stood in the shower waiting you froze! A small frypan would be a good idea and the table on the upper deck needs serious attention. We also had trouble opening the key lock.

Good location, easy walk to city of Hobart.

The location of the property is good. Easy access to the city and on-street slope parking. So need good parking brakes

Communication with the host is terrible. When you need assistance, you are on your own. Host-only replies to emails after a while of sending them. Never pick up phone calls or return them. We had an issue with the oven and stove, we sent emails to the host, and they requested pictures, which we sent but they never replied to check on us to see if the issue was resolved. We had to source help externally. The host charges you the full amount minutes after booking which could be weeks prior to your stay. Then 4 days prior the host charges $500 for holding the bond.
