Everyone and everything was an utter delight and to meet and chat with Mr C was an added bonus!

It is such a lovely house. Elegant and comfortable.

Memorable delicious breakfast in the beautiful tall and wide glass window covering half of the room with view of the garden. What a treat! the manager Lynne was very kind and made us feel comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing afternoon and good night sleep. both the house and garden are very beautifully private and natural. we want to come back sometime in autumn season.

we had a very nice welcome from Lynne and a cup of tea. The house was in beautiful grounds and the bedrooms very well appointed and comfortable. Immaculately clean with beautiful linen and towels. Excellent breakfast included. Highly recommend.

I wouldn’t say we didn’t like it on the country. It was great. The only thing which was probably a little bit disappointing. It would’ve been nice to have just a little bit more breakfast.

Room was absolutely freezing at night, woke up at 3:10AM so cold I couldn't sleep, a heater was provided but was insufficient in heating a room of that size, Breakfast portion was TINY!, Very little vegetarian options on the breakfast menu. Room was a little dusty with cobwebs in corners etc. Could of been better. 4* is questionable.

Very welcoming, comfortable spacious room, lovely garden, walking distance to centre of lovely town. Enjoyable leisurely breakfast, friendly host. Very relaxing.

We have stayed at Lynch House on previous occasions and the standard has always been excellent. Staff helpful and friendly. Always a lovely selection to choose from for breakfast, which is top class. It was very nice to be offered tea, on arrival, despite the fact that there were facilities in the room.

Hosts Roy and Lynne could not do enough to make my stay more comfortable. It felt like home and I was spoilt with the peace and quiet of the place. I plan to return in November fir a two night stay.

A really lovely spacious room with a very comfortable bed. The grounds were extensive, and it was lovely to sit out under a tree and read a book when we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was a proper fresh home cook one.

Lovely fresh breakfast of salmon and scrambled eggs, toast and tea. There are several pubs within 5 min walk and one of the best pub meals I have had in ages.

The room and location of the hotel was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was cooked to a high standard. The room was spacious and well equipped but in keeping with the age of the house.

The breakfast was so nice, and plenty of it. The bed was very comfortable and the linen so soft. Staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The gardens were stunning to say the least. We loved the air of calmness about the place, so very peaceful.
