I had a great time at Funky Leopard Safari Lodge Yala! The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed. The lodge is very close to Yala National Park, making it a perfect spot for wildlife lovers. The stay was definitely worth the money. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Yala!

Everything was perfect!

I had an amazing stay at Funky Leopard Safari Lodge Yala! The staff was exceptionally attentive and made sure all our needs were met throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. The lodge is conveniently close to the entrance of Yala National Park, making it an ideal place for wildlife enthusiasts seeking good quality accommodation near the park. The experience was truly value for money. Highly recommend this lodge for anyone visiting Yala!

There was nothing I disliked during my stay at Funky Leopard Safari Lodge. Everything was perfect!

It’s an excellent location bordering the park in a wilderness setting. Very clean accommodation. Basic but great food. We did a well organised evening safari through them and saw a lot of animals. Overall , excellent value for money property , perhaps the best “value” property we have experienced in Sri Lanka.

Little bit more furniture in the common areas would have been perfect.

It has a cool vibe and it’s really close to the national park. There is a lot of space around and the staff is really accommodating.

When we were there the hostel was quite empty and it’s in the middle of no where.

Very inflexible with breakfast options. Had to leave for a safari at 4h45 and requested one of standard breakfast from the menu of $2-$4: wasn't possible to take away, to eat before I left and not even to have it prepared the day before; the only option available was the safari breakfast for $8 and that could be arranged at any time. Kitchen and bathroom were pretty dirty too.

As a woman traveller, my experience with the staff was commendable. They were very kind, helpful, respectful & attentive. I felt very much at ease. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful which came with the package and I took the liberty of ordering lunch and dinner for a very nominal price. Planning to revisit with my family next time. Thank you Funky Leopard for making my stay an exceptional experience!!!

Absolutely nothing

I highly recommend Funky Leopard safari hostel! We had a 1 night stay and we loved it. The environment was really peaceful and very relaxing. The accommodation is basic but very clean, the rooms and the bathroom facilities are well maintained. During our stay, we ordered a few extra meals and the food was delicious. The hospitality of the staff members was amazing. They all were very flexible with our requirements and very friendly. Our highlight was the time spent around the campfire . We would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.

I was warmly welcomed on arrival and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very clean and nice location and close to the Katagamuwa Yala entrance where we did the safari with ease. Breakfast was delicious. Very much value for money for the price I have paid. I can recommend this to anyone who is looking to explore Yala with a tight budget
