Great. Near shopping. Only one night comfortable. TV selection wasn't good however i had phone and pad so that didn't matter really.

Great location next to the airport as well as Sea World, and the property is in great condition. The breakfast included was well stocked and some excellent food options. The parking was free, which is a huge plus, considering downtown hotels are charging $40/night to park. Loved our short stay!

Horrible! Do not stay here if single women or a family with children! I checked in, under my female name and planned a multi day. My first morning there, A MAINTENANCE MAN OPENED MY DOOR WITHOUT KNOCKING OR COMMUNICATION. He stated he needed to change my shower head, then and there. I asked if that couldn't wait to check out the following day and he stated no. Luckily my brother was there, as we were heading out and nothing horrible happened. I spoke with the "manager" and he refuse to let me check out early stating there would be a fee. Which I was happy to pay but he refused. He refuse to allow me to check out and claimed that no maintenance man came into my room. I know that the other patrons heard me and he asked me to keep quiet. Dangerous area and mindset from the management department. If you value safety, DO NOT STAY THERE. NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS EITHER.

Everything was going ok… room floors were sticky, wouldn’t walk on them barefoot… we had snacks in the room for our late night returns. We came back to a bag of chips on the coffee table completely black with ants. We inspected all the other food that appeared to be infested with ants.
We threw out all the food then tossed the garbage can in the hallway. We woke up find ants in our bed.
All the front desk had said was they will be in all rooms but we can help move you or we can clean and assist in removing ants from the room.
We came back that evening and the squashed ants were still all over the coffee tables.

My hotel stay with my family was just an ok experience. When we first arrived at the front desk we were not greeted by the front desk gentleman and he was talking to what appeared to be the manager neither acknowledged my family or I as we stood there watching them talk for a couple minutes. The room was spacious but looked a little run down. Especially the bathroom/ shower looks to have the beginning stages of mold on the ceiling from not being properly ventilated. Overall the room had plenty of towels and space to accommodate a family of 5.

Fridge smelled soo bad when we arrived had to be changed. Sofa bed was still made and dirty from last use. Room looked run down. Area near hotel was very unsafe looking . Definitely would never stay here again. Was not worth the cost. Wish i chose another place for my wifes surprise birthday. She wasnt happy.

It was my first time staying and it was good inside , nice staff, and welcoming. No issues there. Breakfast was ok but different daily which is nice. But noisy at night along with the planes, the doors slamming were loud.

We were on a couples' vacation. The hotel is very clean and modern. Excellent staff-very friendly. Mike at the Front Desk was very helpful and Lydia make sure we were good every morning. The free breakfast was amazing-plenty of selections. There was ample free parking. Hotel is quiet and close enough to everything. We will surely stay here again.

The stay was ok, but someone hit my car in there garage and they say they have cameras all around but couldn't see who hit my car I was parked next to, I will never use this hotel again parking is terrible..

Ants in our room, no AC in hallways so they smelled bad and were very hot. Gap around doors very wide letting in light and noise. A drug overdose in the elevator.
Staff were amazing. Owner should invest in property upkeep.

The stay at the inn was really nice, they have free parking and breakfast compared to the other inns and hotels in the same area. However, this area is unsafe to walk around, me and my partner were followed after a concert walking back to the inn on Hancock St, luckily we were able to run to different and bigger groups of people. Our stay at the inn was great but unfortunately the area is not.

The staff is wonderful and the rooms have been very nicely updated. My kids love the breakfast, sitting is limmited but we were eating early enough that is was not an issue for us. The hotel is in a less desirable are. We never felt unsafe as we were not out super late and they do have really good security at tge hotel. But zi definately would not go out for a stroll in the area.

The room was clean,nice and quiet. The Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. One person in the desk staff ruined this review for all the others. I asked Yazmin if we could have an extra 30 minutes for checkout because we were waiting for a phone call from a medical facility because i was having difficulties from Covid symptoms. She said NO because i was not a member. Yazmin ruined an otherwise good review

Great location for sight seeing but you must take an Uber not walkable, very friendly helpful staff. However there is a dog daycare across the street and they started barking at 6 am . Also kinda scary homeless people in the area which is not at all walkable . But Phil’s BBQ is5 min walk and we’ll worth it amazing food!

This was one of the best stays we have had. Check in was very quick and easy. The room was super clean. Breakfast was good and a lot to choose from. All the staff was friendly and very helpful. Great stay the whole family was happy!

Fantastic staff work here. From the very start, they welcomed me and helped me find fun things to do in San Diego. They had a whole packet, gave me restaurant recommendations, it was stellar. The rooms were clean and well kept.
I dropped the tongs at the breakfast buffet and someone heard it, appeared at my side and replaced them.
We had just come from the Legoland resort and let me tell you, the Holiday Inn Express was leaps and bounds better in every way. The staff were better, rooms were cleaner, and cost was so much lower.

we went out to sea world and this location was convenient
the check in went smooth a little wait but the ladys at the front desk were super helpful,room was clean waters and coffee available in the room, pool and hot tub were nice, breakfast was good, clean eating area and food fresh they kept it really nice staff was very helpfull, highly recomended, thank you.

We traveled with our three kids and we all loved it because, great breakfast, it’s convenient for beach, restaurants , highways, Starbucks…….. and very polite and helpful staff too. I definitely recommend this hotel .

Parking was not easy in the garage due to narrow parking spots and concrete pillars. Dog boarding next door so lots of barking by 6:30 am. Pool and hot tub need to be remodeled. Convenient location to attractions if you plan on being out and about all day.

Hotel has great location for closeness to attractions. Parking is horrific. Neighborhood is not one to go for a stroll late at night. Room was clean and large. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good, with lots of options. Great value for the price. They did have a hard time having coffee available, always seemed to be empty.

The pool was nice , back entrance door to the building was unsecured you can just push it open with no effort. That can make you feel a little less safe. Room was clean. Good distance from beach’s and down town
