Great

The Vine Inn Davis is well located amongst the restaurants and bars of Davis and within 20 minutes or so walking distance to the University. So, this is not a quiet area. The hotel is old and so the aircon is a bit noisy, rooms a little tired but it is well priced, clean and comfortable and I enjoyed my stay. In house breakfast is minimal so all eating is nearby. Davis is also well located for visiting the agriculture of the major valleys of California.

Not good value for money compared to other hotels in the area. Reception staff devoid of personality. Breakfast is very average

I was really pleasantly surprised. I used to live in Davis, and this used to be an old Econo Lodge, but they did a great job rehabbing the place and making it a great little boutique. The staff is great and accommodating. Everything is within walking distance. The restaurant across the street, The Mustard Seed, is amazing.

Clean, pleasent easy place to stay for a quick UC Davis student drop off.

Door and desk closed on arrival 5 pm. Had to call and have person drive over to get checked in.

Stay was comfortable and the room was very clean. Only downside the AC was extremely noisy

I've stayed there many times. It has great downtown Davis location and reasonable rates. Service and staff were ok so was my room except for LOUD AC that went on and off all night in my room. Bed was comfy.

If you're looking for a nice, no-thrills hotel in downtown Davis The Vine Inn is an excellent choice. Great location, great value for money.

Very easy, clean and friendly.

Excellent shower and pressure. Clean and recently redone rooms. Comfortable bed! Breakfast was very good with many solid options. Quiet!!! Only negative is the lotion/shampoo that comes in room to use - the containers are Very hard to squeeze product out.

The Vine is always very clean and comfortable. We love staying there.

Fun place with large, clean rooms. Breakfast was excellent and the location was great. My go to in Davis now.

A go-to place for me.

Everything was great except for our room(110) being next to the Janitorial closet and was very loud, starting at 7am.

This is the 4th or 5th time i stay at the Vine Inn in the last couple of years. Room we stayed was very clean. Reception was great. Location is prime with restaurants and shops nearby. Unfortunatly the air conditioning neads an upgrade. I was way too loud. Plus the room did not have a window that could be opened. That would have helped given the night temperature outside dropped in the low 60s. The breakfast was mediocre. Very disapointing. No fresh or any kind of bread despite having jams. Coffee machine was out of service. Breakfast also opened 5 min late with several clients trying to get in unsuccessfully at 7 am.

Room was nice and generally clean. However, AC was very loud and the AC filter was badly in need of a cleaning. Complex Ice maker was broken, on a 112 degree weekend and no other options were offered. Shower walls had hairs stuck on them, like someone had cut their hair in the shower.

I liked the little private patio with the cute table and chairs. I liked the shower and other amenities.

Only problem was with extreme heat in early/mid-July, air conditioner couldn't keep up. Otherwise very good if your goal is to mainly to sleep and clean up between outings. Not fancy but clean, comfortable, and providing all the basics.

So awesome! Only complaint is our sink clogged. We washed our hands using the shower hahaha! It made the trip memorable honestly and we had a good laugh. Everything was freakin perfect otherwise and I can’t wait to go back!!!!

Perfect location for our visit to UCD, we walked all around downtown afterwards. Super clean, nice updated rooms, well stocked, nice staff, no complaints!

Centrally located comfortable room. Nice towels. Wish they had tea for the keurig. Breakfast meh.
