Been living in Mondrian every once in a while 40 years and not in 5 years because covid. The hotel is a mild wreck. Will never go there again. So sorry

We had a wonderful stay at the Mondrian, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Conveniently located too.

We are a family of four with two teenage girls and a dog and it was not kid friendly + pet fee and not “pet friendly” and seemed to cater to outside guests rather than hotel guests.
- The pool became 21+ after 1pm w/ dress code for the evening
- Dress code for the restaurant next to it
- No green spaces for pets
- not sound proof with the parties going on below or nearby
Overall would not stay if bringing family or pets. And we were not made aware of dress codes until we walked up to it.

Hotel is ok, but expensive for the price. Rooms feel a little outdated even though they’ve been upgraded. Basic amenities and have stayed in nicer appointed hotels in the region. Found myself hanging at the 1 Hotel down the road more than this hotel.

My uber on my cel phone didn't work but Jason at the concierge, offered to book on his phone and I just paid him in cash the cost.
He went out of his way to help me make my appointment on time.

Paid over $1,000 bugs to stay had to kill bugs on my own front desk so rude . They do not have service at night . Clogged bathtub

Love the property been going there for years. I had a leak in the air conditioning vent, but I’m not one to complain and I guess the maids lockers were across from my room a lot of door shutting.

We didn't know that the Mondrian is a party hotel for young people. People staying in the pool side rooms will hear the music from the bar until they close at 1:00 or 2:00 am.
We liked that it is within walking distance of the Comedy Store.
My, very personal, major complaint is that the quality of the toilet paper is very crappy. Pun intended. For the price you are paying to stay here they should have better tp.

Went for 4/20 and a photoshoot. Had a blast. I would stay there again if needed.

It starting to look dated and frankly the rooms near the pool and restaurant are smelly and noisy

Parking was very expensive, $68 per day. Washroom sinks were inconvenient, swimming pool was small, nothing was special about this hotel. There are hidden charges that customers are unaware of. Which is not fair.

Used to be the place to be. It’s now subpar, especially the pool area where we were served food in take-out containers and charged a fortune. We returned our food as it was worse than you’d encounter in coach class on a low-cost airline. Guacamole spread from Costco served with stale corn chips was an example. Come on guys. Not the boutique hotel it used to be when it was competing with the other hip spots on Sunset.

The hotel was really nice and everyone was really helpful. I would say the downside, was that they charge an excessive amount as a “resort fee” for parking, pool, WiFi, and I utilized none of those services. I thought when I booked I paid everything, but this extra fee stinks especially when you don’t use anything!

The hotel is fine. But if you’re looking for peace and quiet. This is not the hotel. I was put in a beautiful suite but around 10pm loud noises and banging went on until 12:30. Sounded like I was put on the floor where a large trash compactor was. Just tons of banging. Also the sky bar closes at midnight. Not a quiet stay.

Very cool and popular hotel, great outdoor pool, club party at night with DJ, great restaurant, and excellent community area with walkable to many outdoor restaurants. Overly expensive valet parking but overall hotel is cool.

$35 daily fee for the “free” internet and the fact that they have a restaurant????

It honestly has not changed in 20 years. 3rd stay (always booked because of work preference) and the story is the same, loud music late into the night. Sunday night, Wed. night its all the same. Regardless of how high your room is. It is a scene, which may be the draw for some but try to avoid if that is not why you are in LA.
My room was large and with a great view but the noise & too soft bed made it rather difficult to sleep.

Had lots of fun, and definitely for adults. I did notice on my floor there was a leak so I think the property could benefit for an upgrade on the roof or ceiling.
