Unethical Practice at Holiday INN Mississauga Tronto West, an IHG Hotel
We booked thru hotels.com and were very tired after a long drive on 401 with traffic, so as usual they put incidental charges on my card to be released on checkout, saying its automatic.
I called two days later and it still showed as charged, they then process realesed it saying in few days to refund.
Its been 12 days since the stay and it still has not been refunded.

The reception didn’t recognized the money that I paid in advance to the Holiday Inn Mississauga (Britannia) for to the reservation of 4 rooms for 7 days: $500CD; to validate my claim the helpline of Hotels.com requested me a reservation number starting with “4” that I never received in any email sent by Hotels.com for the reservation; I received one stating with “7”…; when I showed in my phone to the Receptionist of the hotel the payments in my phone paid in advance they requested this “suppose” number starting with 4… insisting that the were just third parties. I’m very dissatisfied that Hotels.com made me lose $500CAD; unfortunately I couldn’t go anywhere with the 8 people we were already after a long trip.

For price breakfast and atlast bottle water,pen paper and better internet service so you can enjoy your stay with kids they can watch tv staff was very nice and helpful for sure free continental breakfast would bring you more business like choice hotels chains offer to their guest please don’t give my last name

Property on thebilder side but very well kept and clean

Overall average experience but the location is great. I just escaped a robbery as the car beside mine was broken into and my car had scratches on the door but probably my window didn’t break for the attack. Anyway, this is right in front of the entrance door, it was the very first parking spot that was not safe. Hopefully, they can have more safety improvements as I paid around $180 each night for 3 nights.

The was nicely decorated. The one hall way that was leading to our room smelt like sewer. My children were literally gagging I asked to change rooms they did so I appreciate that. But the room we got the bathtub had hair all over it. The mattress has brown stains on the sheets a long hair under my pillows. I would not recommend this establishment the cleanliness is unacceptable when mentioned to front desk they said that’s why you call us at night. It should be clean no mater what. Also buffet was gross looking didn’t even wanna pay the $20 each person to eat it. Better off going to tim Hortons

We stayed at this hotel last year and found it good. However this year we found the hotel very run down and not cleaned properly. There were still hairs in the bathroom from either the cleaners or previous guests. On bed looked like it had been slept in previously but the other was good. Really is in need of work

We stayed there for 7 days and the room was cleaned once. We went to the desk and asked them if they are able to come to the room. Only once someone came. Some of the staff was kinda rude and somewhere not rude.

The parking lot doesn’t not have cameras and is not monitored in anyway. Park at your own risk. Cool. In a city with a high theft rate.. how convenient they have no cameras in the lot….. sketch.
The room had a funky smell best described as old cheese and dandruff. The fitted sheet on the bed was not clean so I layered the other sheet on top. Towels and floor had miscellaneous hairs all over.
Was not able to get a printed receipt at the front desk.
Won’t be back. There are better options in Mississauga

When we arrived it was very busy with groups checking in but the staff were very efficient and got us checked in within minutes. Great room, the pool was an awesome addition to our stay.
