The hotel was very well located. The staff were all wonderful, kind, and helpful. Our family room was large and smartly arranged and our in-room breakfast was excellent.

Excellent hotel, very friendly staff and super comfortable bed!

Good room, although air conditioning did not work and bedding was for winter - at temperatures of 30 degrees not a pleasant stay. Restaurant and bar were closed and had long walk in to town to eat and drink.

Nice business hotel. Well located with great breakfast. Staff is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Nice experience, easy check in process, and a decent size room. Breakfast was 18 EUR a day but it was nothing overwhelming, with not many things to choose from. Nice fitness centre. 5 EUR a day outdoors parking no reservation is required. Area around the hotel was ok, not the nicest.

We had a great time in this hotel. My only complaint would be that the bar closed at 9pm on the last night when we all wanted to meet after dinner

Very nice and comfortable hotel, nice big bathroom and room was very bright which is a nice change to the rest of the hotels we have been in during our Europe trip. The room had a tea/coffee station as well as a fridge which is also bonus. Free parking was quite easy so didn't have to pay for the underground. A bit of walk to anything of interest but definitely walkable.

The first room I had, did not have windows that could open. the fan did not work in the bathroom and there were no windows in the bathroom. It was a very claustrophobic room. The moved me to another room, however it was very hot and the air con did not work at all and I was told that the reason was that it was the Autumn - they clearly have turned it off to save money. The restaurant was awful ( a local restaurant also said he had previous customers saying the same). The salmon I had was very dry and overcooked with cold vegetables tomatoes and courgettes mixture. The reception and breakfast staff were friendly though.

Do not stay here! Hookers line the street opposite - the gym is not worthy of being called a gym, the restaurant was average at best, the breakfast was awful. Air conditioning was not turned on and the windows in some of the rooms are locked so you cannot open them. Extremely disappointing and i had to stay here for 5 nights at the cost of over £100 per night. expect a lot better.

If you want somewhere simple, friwndly and 'uncomplicated' this hotel should fit the bill.

disappointed we were not told by staff or in writing that the hotel did not serve meals or bar drinks apart from serving breakfast because of May day bank holiday in a strange place only the fast food places open so burgers were all we could get .Suggest something put in place to warn guest in future hence only 2

The Mecure was a short walk to many places I wanted to see in Grenoble. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and nearly everyone also spoke English.

My only minor complaint is that the hotel pillows were small and unsupportive. Adding some new pillows to this hotel would help make it a great stay! Thanks.

Really helpful staff, all spoke good English too. Room good modern quality, restaurant was really good quality to and not over priced. Gym facilities was as youd expect from a hotel, if not equipment a little tired/old

Moderate Hotel in Grenoble good for a short stay only.

Nice room, pleasant hotel. Across the street from an elementary school so afternoons can be filled with the shouts of children on recess. Great views from the rooms on high floors.

The hotel was absolutely brilliant, the hotel staff was absolutely brilliant ans Grenoble was absolutely brilliant. I had a great time here and would suggest the hotel to anyone going there. Its a short tram journey, or 20 minute walk into the main town and theres many supermarkets and a mcdonalds close by. Choose this hotel!

I had to delay arrival several times. I called hotels.com customer service who called Nicolas at the hotel and all worked out seamlessly. Great job by both hotels.com and Nicolas and a very nice hotel too!

This Hotel is very nice. Its clean and comfortable. The BIG downside is the location. It is a 20 minute walk to the center of town. Graffiti is rife in the area (as with Grenoble in general and ladies of the night can be found up on the bridge 100 m from the hotel). If you take a taxi you just sit in traffic at rush hour when you have to get some where. It is near bus routes but I could not find information at the Hotel. The bar is over priced with large beers at 8+ euros when you can get then between 3 and 4 in regular bars. There are only 2 channels in English on the TV unless you want to pay 25 euros a day for extra. To close, comfortable, clean, wrong location for a city break and typically for a 4star over priced facilities. PS. there is a Indian restaurant just around the corner that looks really nice but it served meat that we could not recognise!!!

Warm welcome, extremely efficient caring staff. Room was great; quiet and relaxing. Recommend highly. Will definitely return.
