It's an excellent hotel, clean, good service

It’s an older motel but right on the beach. They have cleaned the rooms up and was very comfortable.

It was worth the price, which was a good deal. IT had a fun retro feel and the breakfast lady was so nice and breakfast area was great. Free bike and SUP but didn't use that, looked like lots other hotels have bikes to use also. Which is awesome. Floor was sticky and screw was coming out of the door look plate. Beds were very soft. But it had a fun feel to it, and was fine, just older.

The amenities were fantastic! To have bikes and kayaks available was great. Loved the fire pit and private beach and also being a pet friendly hotel. Even though it is an older hotel, updates were nice and beds comfortable. Also being walking distance to restaurants and bars was wonderful. Will stay again

Good stay walking distance to everything

Checkin was easy and the staff up front was nice. No crib for our baby… Rooms smelled weird, lots of partying around the hotel and could hear everything. Our daughter is a crawler and her legs were black from crawling around while we unpacked. So gross

We evacuated from Hurricane Milton, and the staff were wonderful, very accommodating and understanding of our situation. The extra toiletries they had on hand (complimentary, I might add) were a great help, considering we left in a bit of a hurry and did forget some things. We cannot thank them enough. We had a wonderful stay!

This place for the price is fantastic. Its right near the beach and everything is within walking distance. The beds were comfy and free breakfast was nice. Pool area was also nice. Because this is a motel you all have your own little balcony (i brought my chair outside my room to sit). The only thing is, its a bit dated and my rook couldve been cleaner. There was sand on both beds, my bed had alot of stains and the front door had alot of hand prints. One of my towels was also stained.

The room was clean, and the breakfast was good. The pool is very small and is not heated. It looks bigger and better in the pictures. To make the TV work you had to login on there unsecured Wi-Fi and jumped through a bunch of hoops. We ended up not watching TV. The thing that concerns me the most, is that my debit card got compromised. The only place I used it was at this hotel. I’m not sure if it was one of the employees or if someone hacked into their system but I’m positive it happened there definitely one and done with this place.

This place is a gem!

Surf and Sand is a GREAT value hotel. Although you need to cross the street to one of the prettiest beaches, It has free parking & great prices. Plus lots of extras, like free breakfast, free kayak & Bike rentals. This place can help make a family trip fun and affordable

We had a great time. Your hotel was vey clean. Your managers were sooo accommodating. I’ve never had a hotel were you can have a bag of ice waiting at the the front desk, with a smile. My only complaint would be the dogs in your beach and pool area. No attack on dog owners. I’m terrified of dogs because I was bitten to a so called , oh he’s so gentle and loves people. I only 5’ tall and 100 lbs… certainly not a threat to dogs.

Overall a decent stay for the money, several things to do (free kayak/paddle board rental, bikes, fire pit, Bayside beach area) good location. But, while having a fun interior design everything is just a little broken. My toilet ran the whole stay, TV had blown out speaker, bed was warped refrigerator was loud and never got very cold

My family planned a quick trip to Pensacola. This location was unbelievable and the availability of having kayaks, paddle boards, and Bikes to ride for free was fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back to this hotel! The staff was very friendly in the meals were delicious.

Great location, friendly staff and better than expected breakfast. Will definitely stay here again. Easy walk across the street and for the cost savings, totally worth it.

Lovely motel near the beach. Bars and restaurants near by in walking distance. Free bike hire also available. Breakfast was terrible though. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Always a good time!! Breakfast is always such a delight because of the sweet lady that serves the food!! Honestly one of the main reasons other than location that we have stayed 2 years in a row.. She is very sweet, friendly and helpful !! Definitely planning another trip next year!! Can’t beat the location

Great location

This wasn’t our first stay here, it was our 4th I believe and we always have such a nice stay. And the lady in the kitchen that helped us with our breakfast every morning. Is such a joy! We love seeing her!

We arrived about an hour prior to check-in - no worries! Got right in our Room! We were told upon arrival that they have free bicycles, kayaks and paddle boards for us to check out daily (which we had no idea in advance). It was super close (walking distance) to restaurants, bars, shopping and a pier! Free continental breakfast that was better than most, with a SUPER helpful lady/staff! The room was clean with no issues! Did I mention it was also very light on the pocket?!?

Elevators are in major disarray! Dirty and very clunky, mechanically questionable, as they clunk when stopping at floors. Rooms were adequate.

I love this hotel! It has a genuine Florida feel and the staff is so friendly! The pool area and fire pit set up is so fun and there’s also a beach area behind the hotel.

Great property right on the beach. Older, but redone in a cool way. Not a cookie cutter hotel by any means. Affordable off season as well.

The building and hotel itself was not as nice as the website made it appear. The check in process was easy and quick. The staff here are TOP NOTCH. I would stay again for that reason alone. Any issues were taken care of immediately. You can hear noise from other rooms easily. Barking dog next door, dropping items in the room above me. I only got to eat the continental breakfast once. It was very good and my best breakfast meal that week. Im a sucker for those fresh waffles. Coffee, tea and water were available 24/7. The pool seemed to be accessed by people that were not guests of the hotel, which was a little annoying, especially when they were announcing this information and being loud. Overall the location is great. Right across the street from the public beach. Also, easy walk to multiple restaurants.
