The hotel lobby looked up-to-date. When we checked in they gave us a handicap accessible room without discussing. Not a huge ordeal except I would think they should keep that available plus ask us if we would prefer an alternative. Regardless the rooms look like they have not been updated in some years and were in marginal condition. All of that still made it so-so. What was irritating was the fact there is an 11:00 checkout. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 8am. I told them we would be checking out later. Then a little after 9am they knocked on door again. I was getting out of shower and getting ready. I have traveled enough to know that housekeeping knows which rooms checkout each day. They also can get a status of who checks out when. So the need to knock on someone’s door is just unnecessary and is something I can’t recall ever running into. It was really something I knew I would never go there again.

Nice room and a great location. Close to all the historical sites in the city. Also has a car park right at the hotel.

Great location to enjoy the historic sites of Old City Philadelphia. Impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the cordial staff. I do wish the windows opened for fresh air and with a back corner room the layout with luggage was a little crammed.

There was mold and mildew around the heating unit in the bedroom and the same in the bathroom around the caulking of the tub. Also near the toilet. We laid down on the bed and something bit the back of my leg. We left right away. So we were out nearly $300 for not quite a 1/2 hour stay.

This was a really nice hotel and the staff was amazing

The location is excellent and that is the best thing about this property. Rooms are a bit dated and need an update. We did not have hot water for the first morning of our stay. We reported this and they did not seem surprised but they did fix it.

I traveled to Philadelphia for a teacher workshop. I arrived at the hotel at 10:30 am and my check in time was 4 pm. I went to the counter to ask if i could leave my bags behimd the counter and explore the city. The young lady behind the counter was so accommodating. She checked the system and was able to find a room that was ready. Not only that, she was actually able to get my Friday and Saturday rooms (which were being paid for by the organization i was there with) switched so i could stay in the same room the entire time. I was blown away! I have never been able to check in before 2 anywhere ive ever traveled. They went above and beyond the entire time I was there. The hotel is within walking distance of so many attractions and hotels. I will definitely be staying at Wyndham when I can and if im ever in Philadelphia again, I will make sure i stay at this hotel

The hotel and staff were very good with one minor item. Guests are motified that rooms would be made up when the guests ask that it be done. It's not automatic every day. I asked my room to be made up but it wasn't and I had to report it. Otherwise there were no issues whatsoever.

The area around the hotel is a wonderful. So many historic sites and places to go to all within easy walking distance. The hotel interior itself is dated and none of our chargers would stay plugged into the outlets as they were worn out. The staff was excellent and very cheerful.

This place is a little older, but clean. It’s located very close to all the things you want to see.

Very comfortable. Room and bed fresh and clean, well supplied though a couple outlets did not work. The bathroom well supplied, sink, toilet and tub clean, though the small cabinet shelves very dusty and floor corners had some buildup of old hair and dirt/dust.

Had a wonderful time staying at this amazingly located hotel. The staff were outstanding - allowing us to check in early and check our bikes so we didn't have to have them in our rooms. We were in walking distance to all of the major historic attractions.

For the price we paid the hotel let us down. While the staff was friendly, the bathroom in our room was dirty upon arrival- hair in and around the sink and the sink did not drain. The walls were super thin but luckily we did not have noisy neighbors. If you did, you’d certainly hear everything through the walls. At least the beds were comfy. In all fairness this was a last minute reservation, but I would still have expected the room to at least be clean and the sink to drain for the 400/night price.

We booked a room with a king size bed and when I got upstairs, it was two queens. When I called down inquiring about why I wasn’t given the room I booked he said because by the time I got here, it was sold out to others. I do not understand why they would give away the room I booked to anyone, so this was extremely disappointing. We also noticed that there were some stains on the wall but otherwise it was OK. The main reason I booked this hotel was because they had a king size bed and I could’ve gotten anywhere else for the queens. Very disappointing.

Good experience, clean, quiet

Our stay was delightful, staff was exceptional and kind. Parking garage was an amazing plus. Location could not be better. We so enjoyed our stay and exploring Philadelphia was truly a wonderful experience

Due to my flight delay, I did not arrive to the Wyndham Philadelphia Historic Distric until about 8am the following morning. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was told that my room was re-sold and my reservation had been cancelled (and I was charged full price). After speaking to the manager, I was told "it is what it is" and was provided with no alternative solutions. I was stranded in Philadelphia on a business trip with no hotel room or assistance from the hotel staff. I do not recommend this hotel!

Clean, super comfortable. They were very accommodating when I let them know we would have a later check in since we are coming back from a late flight and they were able to give me a later check-out time with no issues. Also, ease of check in and check out was superb. Very nice staff.

A very good hotel in central location. Great front desk service. Beds were a bit too soft for my taste but that’s basically the only downside, everything else was close to perfect. Within walking distance from everything! Recommend!

Really happy with the overall quality of the hotel, a good price and better than expected. A large room , comfortable bed, bathroom a bit average but ok. Easily walkable to all the historic sights.

The staff was very courteous and helpful! However, the room was EXTREMELY musty (to the point where I had to buy a can of Febreeze to use daily) and an old coffee filter was left in the coffee pot which should not be accelptable. In addition, the lighting in the room is sub-par - a burned out light bulb didn't help.

Staff was very very helpful and friendly. Room was nice, the hallways looked a little aged.

The only thing that would be nice is if there was a coffee station for the guests. There is a 1 coffee pod and 1 decaf pod in the room however, there was NO cream or sugar. When you order coffee at the restaurant, its a shame you don't get a free refill, you have to pay for another cup. Ordered a flatbread pizza and it took almost an hour to get it....we were the only ones at the restaurant at the time.
