I love that it was close to a grocery store and that they offer free breakfast.

This is always my go-to for Truckee stays. The staff is great, particularly the morning dining staff. Amenities are abundant and cleanliness is on point.

Staff was nice, bed were comfortable, good location, breakfast was better than most hotels.

After approving our late check out request a week before our arrival they denied it when we got there. I specifically picked this hotel for the hot tub and in house restaurant. The website boasts of a heated pool and hot tub. Half the courtyard was destroyed and the hot tub was beyond out of commission. Fenced off piles of dirt everywhere. There was a plumbing problem in the ceiling outside our room the entire stay so we dealt with construction sounds the entire 4 day stay. And when my girlfriend asked the front desk for help she was brushed off saying that since we booked with a third party website they couldn’t help us. The water was shut off for a few hours one of the days. Then the last evening we were there the power was out for 5 hours so we sat in the dark until we finally fell asleep. Breakfast was good tho.

Unique? Nothing unique, but I liked the place. The location was more "vacation-land" than any of the other places I stayed at this trip. The only "fly in the ointment" was a chip in the sink bowl, but it didn't seem to leak.

Room was not ready when arrived an hour and 15 minutes after check in. We had to wait another 20 minutes. Food was left in room from previous customer. Phone to call front desk didn't work. For the price property lacking. Desk clerk was in their phone often.

The pool area was nice. Construction zone very noisy! Dogs barking. Overpriced. Requested second night room to be freshened up and new towels with the door hanger, no response finally I tracked down housekeeping in the hallway and they gave me new towels. Will never return to this location and very unlikely that I would stay at any best western again.

We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night.

Nice hotel. Somewhat dated. We asked to have our room made up but was not done. We even called to confirm before we left for the day.

The website says the front desk is closed from 7pm-8pm so I timed my drive from San Francisco accordingly. We arrived at 8:05pm and when we went to the front desk there was a sign saying they were closed until 8:30pm. So we had to sit in our car for 30 min in the parking lot after a 4 hour drive. My card was demagnetized several times during my stay and I had to go to the front desk. The woman at the front desk got annoyed and was unprofessional. She just didn't want to do her job apparently. In the evenings there were teenage boys visiting the young woman at the front desk. They were not guests and she was more focused on socializing than attending to guests. Overall rude and terrible customer service.

staff were very friendly and seemed happy in their work, beautiful setting ,heated outdoor pool,comfy spacious rooms,goid breakfast.

The staff was wonderful and made the check in very pleasant.

First non smoking room offered smelled of smoke. Was asked to sign registration forms multiple times, despite having completed online advanced checkin. Great breakfast.

Great weekend stay! The room and hotel was clean, beds were comfy, pool was warm and breakfast was yummy! Looking forward to our next stay!

The check in clerk was awesome, helpful and knowledgable - plus no foreign accent. Room was comfortable with over average amenities and the inside little convenience store was well stocked.

Breakfast, jacuzzi and service

Arrived one hour before the check-in deadline and after 50 mins on phone with both Hotels & BW service reps, had to leave to find a different hotel before midnight cut off time. I was not issued a refund & no one did anything to help the situation at all. The worst service I have ever received on both ends

Pretty good place especially the pool and hot tub which were heated and nice.
