I never stayed at this property. I called and canceled the room directly through the hotel, not through Hotel.com. And unbeknown to me I was obligated to pay for the overnight stay. Even though it says if I cancel and Hotel.com gets charged then I get charged. Well Hotels.com didn't get charged but charged me anyway. Very disappointed with Hotel.com.

Everything is fine, the only thing is that I found a cockroach in the bathroom and the bathroom drain was not working very well.

The staff is great specially the Dominican lady at the front desk.She was very professional.Rooms are clean and you even have free breakfast.Best bang for your buck. Only thing bad is you gotta leave a 200 dollar deposit.

Nice quiet spot

People would be arguing during the middle of the night. The bed I was sleeping in had bed bugs.

The room was okay a/c wasn’t the best but it worked I give the breakfast a 1⭐️ if that was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel was a complimentary breakfast and the pool.

Cockroach infested. And rude employees

This hotel received reviews in the past that were less than favorable. My family and I just stayed in 2 rooms for 3 nights and have nothing but positive things to say about the room and our stay. The rooms were clean. The shower pressure was surprisingly Amazing! The beds were comfortable. We bring our own pillows so I dont know how their pillows were. The pool was also clean and refreshing. All in All this is a Great value, especially if you're on a budget. Oh, and Mel's Diner is just steps away and their food is always banging.

The room was clean as can be with clean sheets and towels etc. I'd definitely stay again on my visits to the area.

I believe they need better cleaning crew, floor was very filthy, room wasn’t the cleanest, housekeeping service was terrible in between our stay, the beds looked as if a 5 yo made them, shower looked dirty, they just put clean towels. I found rat poop on my pillow.

The stay would have been perfect if it wasn't the amount of overwhelming humidity in the room. Unfortunately this hotel does not provide dehumidifiers. I've stood in other hotels and they have them-this one doesn't, made my stay there for 2 weeks miserable because it feels like you're sleeping in damp sheets. You're sticky all the time, the floor is sticky and it's just not a comfortable feeling. I noticed a few days before I left that there was mold growing on the ceiling. Right above where I sleep. Other than that it would have been perfect

Important- you need to leave a $200 deposit. Which is extremely annoying when you’re on caben and don’t have extra money. Staff not nice or friendly. Breakfast was inedible and gross gross coffee!! Dead cockroaches in every corner of the room. And the towels are insanely old and ROUGH!! I guess you get what you pay for. Sucks being middle class 😔

Everything were very old and not so clean.

The rooms need a lot of work. One of the knobs in the shower didn't fit properly and had an open jagged hole of it, forcing you to use a rag to turn it. Also there was Permanent marker on the shower wall with arrows pointing which direction you should turn the knobs. There was burn marks on the bedding and the room smelled awful. I would not recommend staying here at all. Spend the extra money on a better hotel.

Rooms were clean bathrooms need updates.. close to everything..

The hotel was rebranding itself. Used to be a La Quinta, now becoming a Baymont hotel. There was a cloth sign covering the La Quinta one. It’s so new, that apps like Uber or Lyft still list it as La Quinta. The moment I got in, one of the desk clerks asked if I had made a reservation while as La Quinta. I said yes. She went on to tell me that those reservations for cancelled and I’d have to rebook. I told her I did mine online, and asked her to check their system. My reservation was still there and I was able to check in as normal. I am so glad I did it with hotels,com. I believe doing it there saved my reservation. The room was basic, but cool enough to be comfortable now that it’s getting warmer out. The bathroom light es strong enough to light much of the room comfortably. It really saved it from being too dim. The bathroom was clean and had enough towels and bath tissue. There was also enough Kleenex too. The shower heated really fast, and also got cold fast too. The tub was not too high, so it was safe to get into and out of the shower. The desk was really good to have, and I used it a lot in planning what I am going to do there. The phone worked, and was handy in calling the front desk. The bed was super comfortable. I did not like that there was no elevator. But I did like that one had a breakfast at the hotel. Overall, this was a good stay. I recommend it when in Fort Myers.

I was shocked and displeased to find my room not cleaned. There was trash everywhere and it smelt like weed. It was also nosier than I was expecting.
