The stay was not bad. Housekeeping came in the second day and took our towels but forgot to leave us hand towels or a towel to step out of the shower onto. The sink was draining very slowly the first night, and by the second night to last morning the sink would not drain at all. Space was a good size and AC worked well though with free parking below the hotel. Breakfast was provided in a room by the entrance.

The stay was great many restaurants are walking distance to the hotel

Staff was polite but not enthusiastic at alll.. towels looking a bit old and with some stains.

We arrived at the area, the desk person gave the minimum of attention. Got into the room and it smelled like it was just clean. (Bonus points until the room STILL reeked of the cleaner 5 hours later). Open the window, and there's no latch to lock/unlock it, plus the screen was bent. A/C unit didn't cool at all. Slept on top of the blankets all night. No microwave in room, which wasn't mentioned. Would not stay here again.

There we’re No towel in the room. When I went to ask for some they were not very open about giving me a towel . I made sure to let the hotel know I had kids. And there were 4 of us in the room . Room smelled like cigarettes and floor was still wait from when they cleaned it. I socks were dark brown after leaving the room. Would not stay there again

I love dogs as much as the next person, but dog paw stains on my bedsheets is disgusting. I don't expect much from hotels, especially budget ones like these, but I do expect a clean bed at the very least. There were dog prints all over my bed as well as cigarette burns through the mattress underneath and other suspicious stains. When I alerted hotel staff about this they said there was nothing they could do and to contact Expedia. How is Expedia going to fix that? They refused to send new bedding or move me into a different room and wouldn't even just give me new clean bedding to fix the bed myself. After sleeping on the one somewhat clean corner of the bed I went to staff the next morning and told them I wanted housekeeping to come and change my sheets as soon as possible and they said no, housekeeping isn't even here. Housekeeping did eventually show up, and I remained in the room to make sure my sheets were taken care of, and guess what folks, SHE BROUGHT ANOTHER FILTHY BEDDING SET. She started to put it on, realized those were disgusting too, and had to go and get another set. I had to request a do not disturb sign to put on my room and when I returned, my sign had been thrown to the ground and there was an empty bottle left by my front door. When my stay was over and I went to check out, me and multiple people were kept waiting while the employee hid behind the office door. All the staff there are miserable, unhelpful, and hide instead of addressing issues.

Conveniently located, rooms have been updated, bed too soft, free parking, breakfast mediocre. Waffle machine not working and pastries were on the go bag.

Horrible service. Owner does not care about your comfort at all. Room were terrible. Bed uncomfortable. Towels stained or dirty, can’t tell. Felt like sandpaper. Breakfast was awful.

Quick in and out for a show at Sainte Rock. Quick, easy and reasonably priced.

Everything was great except there was no Microwave in the room. Also to ask for a late check out of 30 - minutes to an hour is not unreasonable, but to charge $20/hr after the 11am check out is unreasonable unless you were sold out.

It was not very clean, very untidy, a bunch of old mattress all over, old furnitures, lacking maintenance

Poorly kept. Needed renovations. Water leaks throughout the property. Microwave in the hallway. Really???

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and enjoyed the dining experience and options available. The last night we stayed, it was a bit noisy from the people who stayed above our room. It sounded like they were rearranging the entire room at 1a.m. and went on for 3 hours. We understand things happen but that was a bit too much. We will definitely return on our next trip to California.

It has cockroaches in the room and we stayed for 3 nights. 2nd day we asked for towels for shower. asked 3 times approaching the front desk. They said they will send to us. But never came And the room in 1st floor had terrible noisy from A/C and we can't sleep with those noise. First night they said it is full house and didn't provide any compenstation. 2nd day we complained again luckily they finally changed a room for us

The property furniture was dated & toilet was unclean

It was a place to sleep.

Place is dated , old carpets, beat down furniture worn floors. Needs a refresher. No safe in room. End of life Ironing board in my room. Not worth the money , stay at Motel 6 in Carson was much better. Staff was nice and free parking.

Great family suite

Terrible service, they don’t care about your comfort. Towels are worn down and feels like sandpaper, blanket was essentially the top cover and I was cold - you have to keep the fan going on constant otherwise it smells musty. Carpet in rooms are dirty and sofa cover is stained from wear. I’m not sure if it is clean and stained or just stained. Breakfast was barebones, I couldn’t eat it. The room was the size of a closet, just a waffle maker. The hairdryer fell out of the wall and could barely blow. Overall run down, tired looking, the owner doesn’t care and it shows. Sad bc location was convenient.

The people at the front desk were really nice and helpful, just the room was a little dirty when we went in and their restroom wasn’t working well, if you want to go in for relaxation it wouldn’t be the best option the rooms are too close to each other and the people next to us were not the quietest as soon as 5am hit you had the sound of 20 kids yelling like it was right next to your ear but other than that good place 7/10 hotel rating

There was gains on the chair, wrinkles in the carpet, bubbles in the ceiling paint. The bed mattress all were sagging. It was fine to stay over night on a long trip but it’s definitely dated and the fixes are all landlord specials basically you can tell they tried to cheaply fix’s things.

I liked the property and the proximity to the beach. Property management were polite and helpful.

Terrible service. Horrible people

The property is aging. This is evident by how they are patching the wood exterior and renovating bath rooms. However, who ever is doing the renovations must be upset with hotel management, as there were holes in the newly tiled shower, the shower water mixer malfunctioned, the toilet flushed slow, the bathroom sink was missing it's stopper, there were holes in the wall be hind the TV, none of the outlets would hold a 2 prong plug, needed to use 3 prong, some outlets didn't even work, the carpet left my white crew socks black, and the room smelled of must or mildew. When I inquired about all these things, they were redisent to move me to a new room. I took video and photos.

A lot of things were broken or damaged in the hotel room. Also did not like the layout of shower door( as if it was placed backwards)

This location was really quiet and has a lot of options for dining and going out.
