It’s was average

The hotel is in need of major TLC. It is very dirty. The room smelled stale and musty. There was black mold in the bathroom. Just gross. Before checkout, sprinkling a ton of carpet powder seemed to be the replacement for cleaning.

I originally reserved, and paid for, Wednesday to Sunday when I booked 7 months ago. Due to circumstances, we were not going to arrive until Thursday. I called the week before to ensure they knew and would not give our room away. They gave our room away anyhow! The room they did give us had mold on the bathroom wall above the shower. On top of that, the Air-conditioner was not working properly and when we went to open the window, behind the curtains was full of cobwebs. Continental breakfast consisted of cold sausages, dried out bread, creamer that was so outdated it was now solid, twinkies and cupcakes served by a woman who was rude at best and, after disappearing for over 15 minutes, was rank with the smell of Marijuana. The one good thing was Phillipa who kept us stocked with clean towels and supplies with a pleasant attitude and warm smile. I will never stay here again!

This is a cute hotel in the middle of a really beautiful town! The room is sort of compact, but it was only my husband and I this time around. The lady helping us at the front desk was so nice! We really enjoyed our time here.

We didn’t stay, we canceled directly with the hotel over a week before. You zero stars for your internal communications!

I don't believe this was an issue with the property itself. There was some issue between Expedia and the hotel that ended up creating a 30 minute check in process. The gentleman worked through the issue and eventually we were able to get our room.

It was nice for a night down in Winona I always love a Continental breakfast the only thing that was missing was eggs too go with the sausage they served.

Easy check in, friendly staff, clean room and a convenient location.

I have been here before with good results. This time day staff was great! Night staff was rude. We discovered ants in the room. The AC was broken and sent off a horrible odor when turned on.

I stayed there two nights overall, in two different rooms. The first seemed really small to me. I kept bumping into things. I felt like Gandalf in Bilbo's house, where everything was small. The next night, I paid a bit more for a larger room with two beds. That one did not feel claustrophobic to me.

Good value.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Days Inn. I have stayed at some that are mediocre but this is the nicest Days Inn I have ever stayed in. It looked like it had been recently remodeled and was super clean. The bedding was glorious! Similar to what you find in expensive hotels. The only downsides I could come up with are that there wasn't a microwave in the hotel room (there is a fridge) but we were able to use the one in the lobby. The continental breakfast was just okay.

Clean, pleasant staff and great price!

Place was very clean.

The outside needs updating, as does the front desk/entry area, this space should sell your hotel. The room though was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The AC needs some updating it’s a little in wall one but the poor thing had to run constantly to keep up, and with summer heat and humidity it’s needed. Also the windows need desperate updating.

It was quite and a good location

Great stay

The room was ok but the breakfast was terrible! Sausage was the ONLY hot food provided....no eggs, no potatoes, no option for a waffle or even toast! But we were offered PACKAGED TWINKIES! Then one evening we came back to the room and it smelled heavily of cigarette smoke! We had an un- numbered (private?) Room next to ours so we assume someone was smoking in there.

The rooms were neat, clean and comfortable. Our air conditioner wasn't working, so the staff found us another room. Very grateful. Breakfast was slim pickings, but enough for us to grab and go.

The room was just large enough for our overnight stay. There was a problem with the TV but management fixed it right away. Fixtures (chair, cupboard) are old but fully functional. Everything was clean. There is no elevator.

Booked a stay for 4 days every single day my key didnt work

The price was good and I had a quiet room. It's not fancy. The breakfast could have stood some eggs with the sausage option. I would have liked to have seen something to grasp in the shower/tub. The built in soap dish is too low to be of help when a person is taking a shower.

Days Inn can be up and down. This was definitely overpriced for an old and poor quality room. Staff smoked by the exit door near our room that did not lock at night. When asked about the signature Wyndham cookie at check-in, there was one for the 5 of us and no attempt to offer any effort when I joked about it. The breakfast was pretty bad the first day (sausage, yogurt, muffins, and cereal we couldn’t get out of the dispenser), then discovered they were rationing the breakfast sandwiches the next morning because they didn’t have enough.

Clean & quiet!! Parking lot needs to be resurfaced.

The room its self was clean but had i been driving thru looking for a place to stay i would have driven right by, the outside appearance looked very poor with over grown grass and a parking lot in shambles

Breakfast was very poor compared with what it was like last time we stayed at this property. Water pressure in the room was very low and temperature was difficult to control.

Needs a lot of upgrades

Had an issue at check in, when I tried to show my receipt the manager was incredibly rude, calling me a liar and demanding I “get the he** out”, even called the police. Eventually got the issue resolved, turns out I wasn’t lying, and my receipt was in fact correct. Never got so much as even a simple apology. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. I will never use this hotel again nor recommend anyone to.
