Great hotel in a great location close to metro stations. Our clean room was also pretty quiet even though faced Gran Via with spectacular views. Only improvement suggestion could be the Wifi - signal was poor in the room, but it did not matter so much after all as in the EU the roaming in data networks is cheap.

No clue how this hotel has such a high rating. The room was hostel grade with no real window and faced the courtyard where a loud fountain is splashing. It had no modern lobby, no vibe. The bedding was awful, like in a $50/night american roadside hotel. Other than the location, there is zero it has going for it.

This hotel's location on Gran Via puts you only a few minute's walk from all the city's major sites. The rooftop terrace & bar offered a great spot to relax after a long day. Oue room & bathroom were large by European standards, with high ceilings. The breakfast buffet offered nice variety. We enjoyed our stay very much.

An enchanting, typical Gran via old building equipped with modern amenities and every toiletries. Perfect location to feel part of Madrid's vibrant life, spectacular views from the terrace bar, spotlessly clean rooms and extremely helpful and friendly staff.

Wonderful "old school" hotel in the heart of Madrid. The rooms were nicely appointed but had that "Laura Ashley" feel. The rooms and public spaces were immaculate. There is a traditional breakfast offered for a fee and the top floor bar with incredible views of the city was a welcomed addition at the end of the day. We stayed in a room on the 8th floor (top floor for private rooms) and the french doors/ balconies provided great views. It can be a little noisy especially on weekends. Very friendly and helpful staff!

Very nice and the location was perfect.

This was one of the best travel experiences I have had in my life. The room was so well designed. The bed was one of the most comfortable in which I have ever slept. The breakfast on the second level was exceptional. So often, hotel food is second or third rate. At Hotel Atlantico, the breakfast buffet offers many choices that accommodate different pallets and dietary restrictions. The staff is in a class of its own. They should video them in action and charge the large, overpriced global hotel chains for training. If you visit Madrid, and don’t stay at Hotel Atlantico, you are cheating yourself. I can’t wait to return!

Lovely my second stay here

Not what I expected. Hotel was clean and conveniently located on gran via but room wasnt great. Two twin beds pushed together to make a full. Mattress was hard. Very noisy- constant banging and thin walls heard every noise in the hallway. No conditioner in bathroom. I would not stay again.

I simply loved everything and I will return as soon as possible. Perfect location.

From early check in, to super sweet staff, to being in a super walkable area with ample food, shopping, nightlife, theatre and so much more right around - would definitely come back here.

Hotel Atlantico Madrid is located in Gran Via, center of where the shops, dining, and entertainment are. The hotel was especially clean and rooms were extremely clean, spacious, and well appointed.

The kind of bed should be better because it is not what I expected for the property type and price.

Great location, the area was nice with lots of shopping and great restaurants nearby. The view from our room was nice and the hotel had a great rooftop.

Old world charm in the center of Madrid where everything is accessible but the room we stayed in was quiet. Rooftop lounge/bar was amazing with the views and personalized service. Sheets were clean, crisp and expertly folded (yes, I like this little detail). Service and amenities are excellent.

Room is spacious and clean. Staff friendly. Restaurants and shopping areas walkable.

This hotel was as good as it gets. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a small private balcony. Everyone was friendly and very helpful; we can highly recommend this hotel. We definitely would stay there again

Fantastic location in centre of Madrid, beautiful traditional hotel. Fabulous room on 8th floor with great views, very comfortable bed/pillows, lovely bathroom though lacked hot water in shower at times. Excellent cleanliness. Lovely roof top terrace with a bar, though options for drinks not as good as one would expect for a 4* hotel. Some staff very friendly & helpful, others not so. Breakfast average, maybe we were unlucky with timing but many items empty & didn’t seem to get refilled very quickly, good value if you managed to select what you wanted to eat.
