Beds were a lil too firm. Bathroom sink had leaky drain and floor was wet.

The odor in the room was horrific and the curtains would not close so I had no privacy. The room was outdated and not clean. I would never go there again.

Not a La Quinta standard

The room was not the cleanest and there was an old band aid stuck to the bottom of the mattress. Housecleaning needs to do better. There was some sketchy ppl around the area. However, the front desk people were extremely nice and welcoming. Everyone I encountered at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Customer service was 5 stars besides that the hotel is dated and could be cleaner.

Non smoking room was smoked in

Tv didn’t work. Room was disgusting. Needs remodeling badly. Surprised headquarters is allowing this

As soon as I walked in the room there was a weird odor smell. Also there was a lack of food options for the breakfast. I could not find creamer for my coffee until later. Also, you shouldn’t have to show identification for a lost key.

Great family ,driendly environment

Well Room one a dog had gone to the bathroom in. Room 2 had mold in the bathroom Room 3 no electricity than a person attacked my daughter a police where called. Staff said it didn’t happen but the security cameras showed it did.

I love the family and at home environment that they display.everyone was friendlyand very hospitable

Overall a pleasant stay for the price I paid. Breakfast was gross and the power went off for an hour but the staff was very friendly. People can make or break your experience and I was pleased with the staff.

Ill stay again but had a couple that argued all night and was hard to sleep.

Old broken chairs just left in parking lot & definitely not worth the price!

Feel like a motel no a hotel

Not so good. The room smelled. The faucet leaked. The TV remote was missing; and when I tried to call the front dest, no one answered for at least an hour. When I finally got someone to answer, they stated that they were sorry and would try to give us a discount. But, that never happened. Lot of dog lovers stay here.

Our stay was very comfortable. We enjoy the easy access to the freeway and the location is very close to the shopping center we use. It would be nice if when requesting a downstairs room due to health issues that the request would be met. I do appreciate you having selected me your “Guest of the Day”. Thank you all look forward to our next visit.

Room smells like cigarettes. It there’s a free breakfast, I guess that makes up for it

There was blood on all the blankets, pubes, food and dirt in the sheets. The mattresses are horribly stained. So many bugs and I’m not talking just spiders and earwigs. There’s roaches and baby ones as well. Items that were left from previous ppl in the room still. Ppl are loud at all hours yelling and pounding. Ppl were smoking and smoking weed and the smell was coming in our room. Totally grossed out by all of these things. Hoping and praying we don’t end up bringing any roaches home with us. I’d be pissed! There’s no weather striping on the door so you can see outside with the big gap that is under the entire door. We had to put blankets against it. There was always a lot of men just sitting in camping chairs out in the parking lot just watching us. A homeless guy with his dog tied to him approached our car and just stood there starring at my kids and I. We stayed in the car until he finally walked towards the other side of the building. Made us all feel unsafe and uncomfortable. Definitely won’t ever be staying here again.

No hot water, no working phone, parking lot needs serious repaving..keep looking there are better hotels in the area

If you’re a crackhead or homeless, this is the hotel for you. This is not a family hotel. I exited the elevator with my family to be greeted with a homeless crackhead on the floor, eating hot Cheetos with orange juice. I was so appalled! Once we got to our room, it was filthy. There were no toilet paper in the room no body wash. My husband did point out. There was a cute teeny tiny bar of soap. That’s probably the only good thing about this hotel. Understaff for a Friday evening I had to walk down to the main lobby to grab the toilet paper. Again, passing this homeless crackhead that made me feel very uncomfortable. I went to get ice and this crackhead was pacing the hall like I was taking her ice. I will never ever stay at La Quinta again. I’d rather spend more money and get what I’m paying for. I hope you read this before you book your stay if not, sorry I tried to warn you.

Needs updating

First room - TV didn’t work. No available staff to fix the TV so they moved me to the next room over. TV in that room worked but I had to move the bed to turn on the power strip for the lights/plug-ins to work. Right as I was falling asleep, the smoke alarm started beeping. A good place to stay the night but no more.

The staff were helpful. The room was clean but outdated. Carpet is old and kind of dirty. We wire sandals all the time. The bed was comfortable. AC was great. We stayed two nights and there were only 2 half rolls of toilet paper, we had to ask for more. There were no towels in the pool area. Breakfast was good. I was expecting only bagels and cereal but they had scramble eggs, potatoes, belgian waffles, besides the continental breakfast. Leo Carrillo Beach was 40 minutes away and Malibu 60. Griffith observatory 50 min. away. Gardens of the world is 20 min. Away. Check hours.

Room was run down. There was BLOOD stains on the sheets, like the bedding wasn’t even changed?! Hair on the floor of the bathroom. It was honestly disgusting and I will never book this La Quinta again. The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Perfect place to stay Great breakfast and easy check in.

It was nice and convenient but a bottom drawer didn’t close, worried of tripping over it and lamp switch did not work- had to turn light bulb to shut iff. Breakfast was not good- not the healthiest choice, biscuits and gravy not for me just had yogurt and cold cereal. Also need for more sitting area

Staff was nice and very helpful I give them top marks. However rooms smelled of cigarettes we asked to be changed which they did and very nice about it so again customer service excellent but very outdated. We found cockroaches in the room very small and outdated rooms. They don’t have daily room service you have to ask in advance for it as they do not have their own cleaning group. So that maybe why the rooms smelled and everything looks outdated. The breakfast was good had waffles fruit mini muffins oats and cereal. Pool is nice with their jacuzzi only thing is too much chlorine in the pool even with our googles we had to go to the store and purchase eye drops to help alíviate the sting and burning in our eyes. It is located near restaurants and stores so that was nice. Unfortunately due to this we will not be returning, which is a bummer because they have very nice staff but the place is just not enticing to return.
