Dead crickets on the floor. Dirty, dated rooms that look nothing like the pictures on website. Pool was empty and closed.

It was a bed in room with a tv and shower. This particular venue is in dire need of a remodel. The floors walls and ceiling had visible poorly down patch work or was still need of repair. The decor is very dated and old. The shower did have hot water and although old it was clean. The bed mattress was old and lumpy with and air top mattress topper so woke up with some back pain after sleeping about 6hrs it was all I could handle and we checked. No breakfast just comp coffee in the morning so we skipped that too. Suppose I’ll spend at little more to stay somewhere more modern when near here again.

The room was filthy. Pee down the side of toilet, shower and tub gross, roaches, hair in bed,

It was ok. It was hot in room upon arrival an it smelled like smoke an our mini fridge was frozen over a didn’t turn on

Quiet, easy access to roads, good location.

I honestly do not know where to start. I only ended up at this hotel because it was last minute booking and the one other hotel was overpriced that had rooms available. I'm sure they know that they're the only good hotel in the area. The hotel looks sketchy and unwelcoming. It looks like there's about 5 to 10 indian families that live on the other side of the hotel. My thing is I don't understand how someone or people can live at their own business, and not take care of their livelihood or Bread and butter. The building definitely needs a lot of keeping up and the room finishing are horrible. I can understand if a room doesn't have the best cosmetic finishings but at least Have the room's clean and the sheets clean as well. Their pillows are horrible.They smell really bad. I honestly think that this hotel gave me COVID. If I were the owner of this business, I would just convert this hotel into a an apartment complex instead of a hotel since they seem to no care of cleaning the rooms. There is a lot of college students in the area, and i'm sure they would be willing to rent a single for $600 a month. I have attached pictures on Google if you want to see how dirty it is. The stars on expedia are false.

Clean, hot water with good pressure, great bed. Everything we need for quick overnight to get our kiddo settled in.

It was fairly updated like the pictures and in a good area but it was very dirty. The sheets in our room had dirt on them, there was a cockroach and the sink was filthy. I don't mind staying in cheap hotels but this was disgusting.

The pillow cases were dirty... I understand its 100 plus heat but ac wasnt that cold.

Remember, you get exactly what you pay for. The AC works, shower was hot, and bed was soft.

The rain had in the bathroom where that air fan is in the ceiling was Rusty and brown with wiring sticking out in the bedroom above the TV the smoke detector wasn't even hooked up had wiring sticking out there was no by the bathtub it was really gross and it smelled like a mold and nest and cigarettes I will never go there again

Room was dirty.. staff was friendly Dry blood splatter on wall.. let front desk know but couldn’t do anything about it

Amazing customer service, had a little issue with room and they move us and make it better.

The room was disgusting with holes in the walls as well as in the sheets. The walls had something that looked like chocolate milk on the walls and the curtains were hanging off the track and we had to fix them before we could even unpack.

It is July in Texas and their pool is closed for the summer. The staff seems to wander around the property looking into guest rooms during daylight hours. After the 3rd time we had to close the curtains. Our room was right next to the icemaker - thankfully it worked, but it was LOUD. Television reception was nonexistent- they had lousy antenna service that couldn’t pick up network channels from Dallas Fort Worth. Highly unlikely we will stay here again on our return trips to Stephenville. Next time we will spend a few dollars more or use our AARP discount at another property.

Just sleep in your car. We have stayed in Hotels from Atlanta to East L A This wins first place for "How is this place even allowed to operate" No lights. No bath towels Only hand towels to use after you shower. No shampoo. No coffee pot. When I told the front desk at check out that the lights didn't work his response was yes I know. Smoke alarm kept going off. If you're running from the.popo.and.need a place to lay your head overnight- THIS is the place! LOL Pool was outif

We left after checkIng in and cancelled the room. We had dead bugs throughout the room and had small black bugs in the pillow cases with hair.

Staff very friendly, no shampoo or amenities in the room. I asked for extra towel, but housekeeping was no longer at the property, and it was only 3pm Room is clean

Very dirty and room is seriously just bed and a small tv. Didn’t touch fridge or microwave. Husband slept on top of covers I stupidly slept in them and now have big bed bites on me. Never will return. Also we knew our price from Expedia but upon check in the staff quoted us a much lower price and we ended up paying Expedia price. Room wasn’t worth 90 a night. Should be free

One of my favorite places to stay in Stephenville. Always have a nice room available.

It was dirty and roches were every where . Woke up in the middle of the night with them on us . They changed our room and it was still a issue . There were stsins on the blankets and old trash between the mattress and head bord.

It was clean quiet and nobody bothered us.

No towels no light in bathroom. I was just passing through. Next time i will spend a few more bucks and get a bettr room.

This property needs a remodel. Dearly. Desperately. I was there because they allowed dogs and it was easy to walk them in a large grassy area. That was definitely the selling factor for me. The staff was nice but overall it’s in dire need of a major renovation.

Check-in was quick and girl at front desk was friendly and helpful on breakfast recommendation. Room was clean. The bathroom door didn't close completely, and the exhaust fan didnt work while showering. Towels were kinda rough/scratchy. I was in town to visit family and stayed 3 nights. Great stay overall...just a couple of minor issues that can be easily fixed by maintenence and laundry workers.

Motel is rundown and in desperate need of painting. The pool has been empty with green water in it for 2 years. Employees are nice. The rooms are okay inside for what you pay.

There was holes in the ceiling and rooms looks very dirt and. No coffee machine in rooms. Would not recommended staying here!!!

Warning!! Bed bugs!

Got out in a room that the door didnt work. They had to open it everytime! Very frustrating

The property was very rundown. We stayed in room 120 and the room had a foul smell, paint was chipping, cigarette burns on sheets, dirt on the bed, shower head was broken/hanging off wall, there was a HUGE hole on the wall behind door stuffed with a towel, and the peep hole was stuffed with kind of tissue. There was trash all around the property. The pool was empty. The only upsides were we were able to sleep (for the most part) and we didn't see any roaches during our stay. Housekeeping did bang on our door at 9AM and kept trying to get in. I understand they have a job to do (not very well) BUT check out isn't until 11AM. They should know which rooms are occupied and move passed them.

Well we had one of the "better" rooms. Dead bugs, very old and outdated shower, toilet, walls, and everything else. The bed was clean and surprisingly comfortable. Front desk check in was very friendly. She gave us a better room than we checked into. Overall it did its purpose and ga e us a place to lay our head. Would not recommend due to the bugs that tend to be able to squeeze through doors and cracks. Definitely needs a facelift and good walls scrubbed.
