Had a good comfortable night at the hotel. Was there for a private event, didn't have much interaction with the staff, but my stay was good.

No one at reception on arrival, rang bell about 10 mins later someone turns up, doesn’t even pre-auth room just gets me to sign them looks at me like, go on move now, weird. Carpets in reception needs vacuuming, very strange smell on stairs. Sometimes made bed, sometimes didn’t. Replaced towels when they felt like it. Water was brown but had to ask for water, should have been replaced daily. Had to clear own table to find somewhere to eat in bar, after starters no plates cleared and mains delivered, food was OK. Breakfast buffet was cold daily and not much choice of fresh fruit etc.

The hotel is really nice. The room was spacious and very clean and had everything you need such as comfy bed, good hairdryer, iron and TV. Bathroom was nice, big and very clean too. Shame I did not have time to use the pool. I will come back if I am in the area.

It’s a clean hotel and convenient spa. Everything is was fine nothing great had dinner at restaurant food was mediocre and service was bad. Had to ask after 20 minutes if someone can at least take drinks order. Then again have to call to clear table after waiting for 15 minutes. Breakfast is full English but ingredients were cheap quality especially beans and sausages. So over all mediocre experience.

Lovely pool Unfortunately we had to pay for parking

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everyone was lovely. I would have given it 10/10 but what let it down was the shower room which had not been cleaned. My stay was from 31st Aug to 1st Sept. I used the facilities on the morning of 31st and then again on the 1st. In the big shower cubicle the plug hole was full of hair and an electic band bthe other smaller cubicles were only slightly better. Its a shame but overall l9vely. I would definitely visit again but let staff know about any issues while i am at the hotel xx

The front desk didnt seem able to access our reservation or restaurant booking. They didnt make us aware of the parking requirements. We asked for menus, they came with no prices. We ended up eating somewhere else.

Value for money. Room was bigger than we expected for a standard, with a king bed. The food was excellent on Sunday night. Will stay again.

We had an amazing time and the customer service was really on point. The staff member at breakfast was very funny and friendly. She made our breakfast time fun. The gym, steam room, sauna and pool were great to be able to use. Overall experience was really good. The only recommendation is to sort out the parking. Having to pay for parking as a guest is quite ridiculous.

Stayed twice very good but needs air con

Sadly never got to see my room, I had a phone call to cancel at 17:30pm on the evening I was due. They said they had tried to call me earlier but there were no missed calls or messages 😢. However they did resolve the issue eventually, did take quite a lot of stressful time waiting to hear, by booking me into a hotel relatively close. Which was lovely, staff could not have been more delightful and worked out well as my dogs had a field to run in behind the hotel. So a big shout out to the Cheltenham Chase Hotel, I even had a complementary drink for the inconvenience. Robinson picked up the difference in charge.

Lack of air conditioning spoilt a good trip

I recieved many emails from the hotel asking me ablut upgrades etc snd yet the email didnt recieve the request made on booking nor my email on here to request a cot. When we arrived the cot wasnt put up and the hotel put us in a room which aas down 2 floghts of stairs with no lift. Great when havjng to wrestle a tired/sleeping infant at 10pm. The room was not soound proof and we heard the comings and goings of anyone who came alone the corridor. Breakfast was alright and the staff werre friendly but it was not the place to stay with a small child due to noise and no cot. The room was not very clean, the bathroom had hairs in it which weren't ours. Carpets filthy.

Kitchen restaurant staff were very helpful, receptionist not so much didnt seem to have knowledge of certain things, good breakfast nucevto vosit stram and sauna, only put off was parlung charge considering yoir a huest it should be free

Fab stay lovely hotel

Room was hot. Service extremely slow. Breakfast starts late at the weekend with zero flexibility. Could be a good hotel but failing in so many ways

Excellet stay. Staff lovely and very helpful.

Staff were very good, bed was a little noisy along with water pipes. But comfortable stay, with excellent breakfast and good parking.

This hotel is away from the town and in a quiet area. You can get a local taxi in minutes. The hotel staff were very nice. They have a restaurant serving good affordable foods. They have a vending machine in place. Access to the pool, sauna, steam room and gym. Hotel has a disco with free entrance which is cool. Enjoyed and feel relaxed with our stay. Recommend this hotel.

The oversized single bed was super comfy Room temp lovely Used the gym. Will use hotel again when in the area

The location was very good, however i was not able to have a meal at the hotel due to not pre-book. Free WiFi was one of the big sell however it didn't work and this impacted on my stay as i booked based on having the use of this facility. The swimming pool was out of order due to chlorine issues so was not great as i needed a swim before my sporting event.

Great hotel with very good facilities avaliable such as bar, restaurant, swimming pool and gym. Only reason it was given 4 stars was because the walls in the room seemed a little thin so you could hear the tv from my neighbours room and people talking in the hall quite clearly.

Staff all really friendly and helpful, just went for 3 nights to relax and it was perfect. Gloucester docks and retail outlet really close by for a great afternoon out. Be aware you have to pay for parking

Gym facilities is amazing Breakfast served was very nice

We have stayed at this hotel the past 4 years for the Rugby as we like to use the pool spa, they was all working & in good order. but the Breakfast on the 1st morning was not good at all as run out off everything then have to wait so ended up having only a small breakfast witch was not ideal as were of out for Rugby game & ended up having to eat in town before the game started. The room was very tired & the bath suite was the great avocado green colour & was in need or a complete renovation.

Overnight stay, with my two Dogs, to break up my journey. Fantastic that the Dogs were allowed in the bar area, so we could all enjoy my pizza!

Straightforward overnight stay simple bed and breakfast - convenient and comfortable with very helpful, friendly and polite staff. Breakfast arrangements were easy with good food on the whole the facilities were as expected.

Great hotel, upgraded my room on arrival as hotel not busy. Food and staff very good. Pool area warm and not too busy in the evenings. All around a great experience will stay again. Dean and Shannon in particular good staff

Speedy polite check in. Clean room with all amenities. Food in the restaurant was well served and tasty. Restaurant staff did really well coping with a booking of 16 people, with all meals arriving at the same time All good, no complaints
