The property is done very pretty and Tropical Garden Like. The suites have balconies and are very roomy. The rooms are a bit dated and need some updating. The facilities are not truely set up for ADA COMPLIANCY. i was set up in an elevated room with no ramp or elevator access. It was very difficult to bring luggage and items into our room. We also had to change rooms as the 1st room provided for check in was checked in by some other person and never cleaned. We had to move to another room provided. In all it is a beautiful property and the adjacent concert venue is also very nice complement adding entertainment value to your stay.:

This place is our go to spot when we come down to San Diego. Just like the other times, it did not disappoint! Everything was great.

We really enjoyed our first stay at Humphreys! The bed was super comfy and we enjoyed our VIP perks! Thank you! Biggest complaint is we couldn't find the tv remote anywhere in the hotel room.

We had a spacious suite overlooking the garden/firepits/grassy area. In the evening the tiki torches added to the feeling of being at a tropical resort. The restaurant has a wall of windows overlooking the marina. Be forewarned that extra resort and parking fees will be added to the bill.

We loved staying at Humphreys! We were here for a concert and did the concert and dinner package. The venue is amazing, sound was great. The dinner was also amazing. Such a good deal. Pool was quiet, drinks were delicious. The room was comfortable and clean. We will be back!

Location was great. Right on the harbor. Went to dinner and a concert. Swimming in the morning. The only downfall was the bathroom sink wouldn’t drain.

Stayed there 2 night, it was nice! Bed was comfy. Not much around and no beach close. The room was upgraded to a junior suite which was great but had no body wash in the barhroom, had to use shampoo instead. Other than that it was great and it’s close to the airport about 10 minutes drive

The property is beautifully located. The rooms were ok. The shutters were broken, windows small to the view of the harbor and up high, and the bathrooms were crammed. Or wasn’t bad, but the outside and lobby are deceiving for how mid the inside was. I probably wouldn’t go here ago , but the area was nice so no major complaints.

We have a lovely time here. Pros The location was amazing. Having breakfast overlooking the marina was our favorite thing to do. The restaurants are fantastic. Everything we ate was good. Service at the pool and the main restaurant was on point. The entertainment was superb The overall feeling onsite was peaceful especially the lush gardens The park across the street made for excellent evening strolls Cons A bit more dated in some areas than expected - some rooms Housekeeping could do with some training. We didn’t get service one day and the next day they left trash behind. All in all we would highly recommend and would definitely return.

The property is beautiful and very lush!!! Our room was very basic and could have used an upgrade considering how beautiful the property is.

Beautiful location. Pool area was really nice and was well maintained. The staff we interacted with were all great. Our room was dated but bed was comfortable. We had a dinner and a breakfast at the on-site restaurant and both were excellent.

Nice location and just beside a boardwalk great for an early morning or evening walk. Rooms are cosy but a little dark. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The pool bat staff ladies were great. They were friendly and went out of their way to answer questions. Hard working and courteous!

The music venues were great. Most of the staff were really good. Food

Great Place

We are San Diego Natives and have never stayed at Humphreys nor attended a concert. We had an amazing experience with friends from out of town attended a concert ate in the restaurant which was Top Shelf. We had a wonderful time at the pool bar wonderful staff there great food amazing drinks. One of our friends commented that they didn't even need to go to Hawaii they could just stay there. We were able to walk to other restaurants shopping the beautiful San Diego Bay Waterfront we all had an amazing experience and I will recommend Humphreys Half Moon Inn to all of our friends it was the best vacation from our 3 week vacation in Australia. I honestly can't wait to go back and I am going to book a night for our anniversary in November.

Tropical style like hotel in the middle of San Diego. Amazing property with a beautiful pool and jacuzzi. Nice relaxing area with the fire pits. I was only missing breakfast options during Mon-Fri and limited dinner options after 8pm.

The place was so beautiful and pleasant to visit. The room was clean and the staff was super friendly. I’m planning to stay here again.

Property by itself is great. staff especially the front desk were horrible, both at the time of check-in and check-out. rude and minimum customer service etiquette.

It was a nice place with good vacation vibes of being on a tropical island. Patios need more privacy.

The property makes you feel transported to a tropical paradise once you drive up and walk into the lobby. The rooms themselves were clean, but there needs to be upkeep and repairs done to bathroom and hallways. The carpeted hallways were filthy and smelled a bit moldy. The pool area was fun but got packed quickly and there was construction happening during running hours. Sawdust was fly ring everywhere. It was fun but not sure if we would come back. The VIP part was just two drink tickets that we couldn’t really use at the pool bar. Staff was super friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful venue with islander atmosphere. The grounds and hotel staff were fantastic. Near to many waterfront restaurants and close enough to downtown San Diego.
