Very nice. Hotel renovations are almost complete. Nice grounds for a stroll, a couple nice firepits, pool, spa all updated. We didn’t get to try the Steakhouse or the upstairs lounge, but they looked awesome too. Great location across from Central Park. We’ll be back.

Gorgeous property - beautiful mature trees surround the property. The rooms were beautiful and recently stylishly updated.

Wonderful comfortable stay in PR Inn with great hot tub and pool. Currently under construction but this did not negatively impact our stay.excellent location to wineries and town center.

Our room was not ready at 4pm …. Took 2 hours. Redecorated rooms are nice but there are no water glasses ( not even plastic ones) …. Water bottles are $4 each which is a little over the top. We were told of construction and called to make sure there would be no problems with noise etc…. Our room was literally right in front of the construction and workers started at 6:30 am so no sleeping in. We’ve been here several times and this was very disappointing.

I was disappointed that the bed size I requested was not available. I was also disappointed in the fact that the hotel was doing renovations which made things very inconvenient. If I had been aware of that information, I would have chosen another place to stay.

We love it. We will be back. The Steakhouse was a great meal. Right onsite. Construction was going on but did not bother us.

The property is in the midst of major renovations. This was not disclosed through Expedia and should have been.

Staff was very accomedating and friendly

The property was nice, though under construction. There was a laundry bag and glass left by our room when we arrived and still there when we left. TV did not work, called front desk and he could not get it to work. Steakhouse was delicious! Staff was friendly and nice.

Small room, bad bed, noisy outside, bathroom smelled like a sewer. Would not stay again.

This was one of the worst experiences of an otherwise lovely road trip. We had stayed here before and really liked it. But it was unrecognizable this time as it is going through major renovations. Construction everywhere. That is definitely excusable even though it’s inconvenient. But it was so uncomfortable in other ways. We had originally booked a double queen. They called a couple of days before our stay to say they had overbooked those rooms and asked if we would switch to a king bed. Not a problem we said. But our room was tiny, only big enough for a small aisle on either side of the bed in that portion of the room with only one outlet for charging our phones which was in the closet area. The bed was awful! It sloped precariously toward the edge on each side so that it felt like we would fall out at any moment. And we paid over $300 for ONE night? We slept poorly and left early. We won’t be staying here again unfortunately.

We’ve stayed at the Paso Robles Inn before. I love the hotel’s historical background and its proximity to the old town shops + restaurants. But we were unaware that there were major renovations going on! So many jack hammers! The front desk staff was very nice, though, and offered us one of the newly remodeled rooms on a second floor with a view of the pool… quiet. We’ll be back after the remodel.

I would stay at this property again. It is currently under renovation to modernize the rooms. The pool and hot tub renovation was complete and is lovely. This location is perfect for walking to the many restaurants and shops in downtown Paso Robles.

Was not told of construction or pool closure due to construction was very disappointed especially because the weather was extremely hot!

The property was under construction. The whole place was a construction zone. Trucks pouring concrete early in the morning. No hotel amenities due to construction. The room was remodeled but no furnished. Only a bed and two night stands. There was no manager at premises when we arrived, but next morning she was nice and authorized a full refund for that night. It will be a good hotel once it’s completely renovated. Right now is awful.

Pet friendly, comfortable and clean

Arrived to find out that there was construction going on immediately outside my room in the courtyard. The next morning workers and hammering and drilling woke me up at 6:30 AM. I called the front desk and was told it wasn’t supposed to start until 9 AM. I tried to deal with it and went out to breakfast and when I came back, there was Music blaring from the construction site. I checked out a day early and insisted on a full refund. Absolutely ridiculous. By the way, the pool was shut down as well and no notification was given about that prior to arriving. The room was recently remodeled, and the only place to sit was on the bed. Huge empty space in the room with no chair or table. Would not return. Do not recommend.

We had been looking forward to staying at P.R.I, When we got to the room, I thought we were being pranked. Bed, TV nothing else. There was like a skinny wine cooler with a coffee maker on top and above the coffee maker were two hangers (this was the closet) there was not enough room to even hang a shirt. Massive construction everywhere around. The manager seemed embarrassed, was very kind, and moved us to the Piccolo next door. I could kick myself for not taking pictures, but we just wanted out as fast as we could.

This place is great BUT it is under renovation! The noise wasn’t the problem really. But the pool is closed. Wish I had known that before I booked.

Room and overall property were very nice. Marked down a bit as much of the hotel was under renovation. Staff was very pleasant, but seemed a bit disorganized and inexperienced. I think they could just use a little coaching - they definitely seemed to mean well.

Under renovation but they put us in a beautiful upgraded room. Lots of history and right on the main square.

Location is great. The reason for my lower rating is due to a lack of “price for value”. At checkin I was told no gym, no hot tub & our view is looking at a construction site. I’ve been to the area multiple times and the cost doesn’t justify the lack of amenities. Disappointing,

Property was under construction. Other than that the garden area was well maintained and the redwood trees was awesome. I would recommend this property.
