No. Just no. Don't stay here unless you want to fight off bugs and avoid bed stains. Or get a contact high from the front desk when you check in. We were attacked by bugs as soon as the lights were on. We managed to kill the first wave with no casualties, and the only reason we stayed the one night was because we got there after 130 am and had to sleep, in all our clothes, with shoes on ready to run as soon as the sun was up. Upon rising, we dashed out as fast as we could. Admitting defeat from the mornings three pronged attack from bugs, we retreated to the safety of another hotel the next night and are happy to say, we survived. But I will say the the woman at the counter in the morning was pleasant and duly said she'd speak to the manager for us and make sure we didn't get charged for another night.

The staff was very nice to us, always tried to accommodate us no matter what we needed, and for that I am grateful.

Bed sheets had big stain, blanket had burn holes, room smelt musty, floors were dirty, other than that it was so so

It was horrible. People smoked outsude our room and it came through air conditioner! Motel did nothing. Only had sheets and they were wet. Avoid motel 6 on I35 in san marcos tx. People were horrible. We heard and smelled them all night!

Issues with door lock a not being able to get into the room. The room was also infested with cockroaches

The motel facilities have seen far better days. Ice machine was there but I wouldnt use it. No room housekeeping over a four night stay and 1 of 2 bath towels provided was in the rack but really visibly dirty. The bed however was clean and comfortable. Bugs seen were typical of Texas.

I left this exact review on google maps, it goes as follows. I took off a star for every roach I killed, and another for the overall cleanliness of the property. Sure you get what you pay for, but if you spend anything over $69 bucks a night here, you had better be desperate. Everything in the rooms repair seemed to be patch work, and make sure again, you bring roach spray. Pro: The staff was friendly and accommodating. I checked in rather late, and there were no towels in the room, and they did not hesitate to bring some to me. I accidentally locked myself out of my room and they were kind enough to make me a new key no problem. Con: the aforementioned roaches. Also the towels they gave me. One seemed to have a makeup stain, luckily I didn't need to use it but as a floor towel. The location is a pain, if you need to go to a store finding the correct exit is like two exits down from anything, provided the exit is open. Do in summation, invest more into the employees and the maintenance of the property.

There were guest in the next two rooms that kept going in and out till 3:30am or at least that’s what time I left!

staff was great super nice people, however restroom was falling apart, bedroom was smelly, smelled like cigarettes (did not have a smoke free room) tried to sleep unfortunately I couldn’t because had people knocking on my door randomly.

Roaches, no towels, when the bright one it was used and covered with black marks as if it was a cleaning towel. No one around to Check me out. Signs everywhere about human trafficking mad me feel unsafe.

This place is a junky !! The pictures of the rooms are not what it looks like in person. The price should’ve been wayyyy less per night. What a joke

Great service at the front desk; clean room; no couches or living room chair; low on bath tissue, but overall, its was a good stay. Cleanliness is what counts.

All i can say is terrible stay! I could not hurry fast to get mine and my kids out we moved to the next motel 6 up st at i loved the stay! First off this motel is not organized. I booked 2 rooms and checked in at 2pm. I received my keys and went to check both rooms out turned on tvs and closed curtain now mind you im from austin moving to kyle but born in san marcos so im very familiar with area and local. But i left to visit family down st and when i get back my key does not work come to find out they double booked my room and didnt know why.. ok so 45 mins later they tell me they are booked well duh i booked 2 rooms and thank god i didnt leave bags in rooms cause then i would of just lost it! They have people living on property smells like smoke in alot of rooms not weed but cigarettes ew! The lady that works first shift seems like she has no clue what she is doing how do you double book a room make it make since so they put me in room 205 smelled way better thanks to the guy he called his manager and got it fixed after 45mins later i spent most of my stay trying to get the rooms figured out no rest just stressed so i was glad to get out of there and go up the st where it was peaceful and not everyone hanging out looking like they want to rob you or kill you something at that motel 6 is just not right keep kids away!! Worst experience ever and i love motel 6! Just not that one!

Literally roaches clmbing up the walls when I woke up. Two on the wall three on the floor Bonus Cricket got it so thats great too. BUYER BEWARE

I was very disappointed in my stay here. I actually cancelled reservations for a different motel to come here because of reviews about bed bugs and roaches there. Got here and took a shower and low and behold out came the roaches. Pillow had the stuffing coming out. There was no soap or anything in the room. There were several people that I assume live there lurking out and about all night. The phone in the room did not work either. The workers were very nice, but were having to multitask and do laundry, housekeeping and the desk.
