The hotel is beautiful.

Having use of the Thermal Spa makes this hotel stand out but otherwise I thought it was over priced. We did take the cheapest room option but the wall paper was coming off the wall the room was small and without aircon so in this 30 degree weather it was unbearable sadly. )a small fan was provided it just blew hot hair around). I hate hotels that think shower gel & shampoo can come in one bottle , it can’t and for the price I want shampoo and conditioner and shower gel. The coffee machine overflows the coffee cups if you select the large. All picky things but for the money it should feel plush and it didn’t. Staff were exceptionally nice though and well trained.

Nice property in a quiet location. The crowd was definitely much older than I expected (all grey hair with a lot of canes or walking sticks). I believe that there is a physical therapist located nearby. It did matter. My only complaint was that the room didn’t have AC and it was warm that evening. They provided a fan and it was enough for the heat.

Hotel is excellent. However, we specifically booked at the hotel so that we could go to the thermal bars on the 24th. We arrived at 15:15 and were told that the thermal baths were closed. It did not say this anywhere on the website which we checked before booking at the hotel. We also called to ask if there would be a normal service at the hotel on the 24th. We were told about the special service in the restaurant and agreed to book in the restaurant. We were not told that there would be limited access to the thermal baths. This was extremely disappointing and means we paid for a service that was not available.

A very nice place, quiet and friendly. The hotel is fine, almost perfect. The restaurant is playing a card of super luxury but is in reality just fine. Nothing exceptional for a lot of money.

The staff is very friendly but the rooms have no airconditioning and in summer the rooms have a temperature of 30 degrees and more. Although nice hotel, it needs some upgrades

Hotel very clean, excellent food at the restaurant & breakfast, very nice & polite service, slightly outdated electronic connections availability in the rooms and not very good neither cell phone nor Wi-Fi coverage.
Overall, very nice, I could return.

By their own admission, they are a little short of staff at the moment, due to covid, but what they lacked in numbers, they made up for in service and smiles.
The hotel itself is excellent. I would argue that at this level, rooms should have air conditioning but that would be our only criticism if there is one.
One note for HOTELS.com customers... the spa pool illustrated in the listing, is an adjoining company and NOT part of the Dorint hotel. There are preferential rates and it is a great facility, but you will need to pay separately to enter. If you study the 'inclusion' list thoroughly, this is covered, but the illustrations are a bit misleading.

Our stay was quite disappointing. The sink in the bathroom did not drain. There was mold on the tiles. mosly transparent door to the bathroom. No AC/ klíma. Breakfast costing an extra €25? You have to take the bus to eat anywhere else. Oh, and the bedframe made it painful to get up. Wifi worked for 5 minutes. And we were told by the checkout person that this room is very cheaö for €120 a night.

Great place to stay in Freiburg. Close enough to old town, but a spa get away for the afternoon. Only problem was rooms have no A/C.

The hotel provides robes and towels. They also have an enclosed walkway to get to the thermalbad. Really appreciated the convenience. The parking fee was very inexpensive. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel and location. Good breakfast. Dinner buffet could certainly be better. Next door to termal bath which is worth a visit too. Silent place but blankets is too warm. I liked this hotel for sure 👍

Just AMAZING,Great breakfast, relaxing thermal baths, very comfortable bed and pillows.It was my girlfriend’s birthday and the hotel staff just went the extra miles to help me make it a memorable one, from breakfast in the room with a birthday cake, late check-out and flowers delivery.We were both very happy of our stay and are looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful location! The spa next door is closed until September. If you are using the city bus line to go to the city, do your research about the trams and their routes and service times, otherwise you will get stranded somewhere and have to find a taxi. Cleaning staff walked and said “hello” instead of knocking. Awkward. But, it’s a fantastic location, and excellent facilities!

Currently there is a major construction site next to the hotel. There is noise and disruption. When we arrived tgere was no electricity as power cable had been cut by construction work.
Our hotel room view was the building site.
This is a business hotel not one for private travellers. It has a soulless atmosphere and is dominated by business conferences.there were two there when we arriced.
Food quality is very average and poor value for money if you do not have a conference rate.

Nice hotel with a nice spa attached - must note that the spa is not included, which we expected to have. breakfast was very good, with free wifi throughout.

It was a very average two night stay. The beds are small and creaky, they must use this facility for the recovery of patients as the room feel more like that with emergency buttons everywhere. It’s not good for a romantic weekend away or a family. However, surprisingly they have this amazing restaurant which was always full.

Such a beautiful hotel and location! The grounds looked like a picture perfect fall postcard. The hotel rooms and main areas were lovely and felt like a mountain chalet. The staff were great. We especially loved the close proximity to the thermal baths! Would definitely stay here again and for a longer time to enjoy everything the hotel has to offer!

Really good apart from trouble with the door unlock which was very frustrating and getting to the spa...down the road in dressing gowns when there was an underground path directly from the hotel to the spa!!!

This hotel is set amongst a beautiful hardwood forest with walking trails. It’s next door to a thermal water spa. Lovely, comfortable, clean hotel with an excellent staff!!

Dorint is an amazing hotel. Very clean, everything looks new, and the breakfast is amazing (but comes at a price — 18€!).
The spa connected to Dorint isn't included in the stay, and you have to buy entrance chips separately at the spa.

No aircondition , disaster. Was 32 degrees outside. Too far to walk to the spa. Out in the street.

Staff very friendly and helpful, room was so comfortable and clean. Mini bar in room. Hairdryer in bathroom. Had a small Juliet balcony. Food on site was a little on the pricey side but was excellent. There were singers every night as you ate your meal or having a drink at the bar. Would certainly recommend to friends. lovely walks from the hotel around the Black Forest.

The accommodation was comfortable and staff very helpful. Probably a mistaken choice, though, as it seemed to cater better for corporate groups (which were present) than for the casual holiday visitor. No criticism of the hotel is intended in this, apart possibly from limited staffing in restaurant. Also Dinner Menu choice was rather limited and nor of the best quality.
