Nice clean hotel and room was nice and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Arrival was pretty disappointing. I have a back injury and noted I needed a ground floor room and was told, "Since we arrived late there were NO ground floor rooms". The pool was locked and unusable. It looked like a frog pond or something swampy like that. The breakfast is merely waffles, cereal and toast. However, after a morning of fishing, Jennifer at the front desk made it seem like a 5 star restaurant. Even though it was after breakfast hour, she made sure we had everything we needed to put something in our belly's before she shut it down. Jennifer was 1st class and really made our stay much better. If you have a boat? There is NOT much room to park a boat here. We made it work, but if a crowded weekend? No way! Otherwise, overall was a nice place and good location.

We booked these rooms in advance. I had asked for adjoining rooms for the couple we were traveling with and for lower level because of our ages and handicap. When we arrived we were given rooms not together and they were on the second story. The room that was given to the other couple smelled of smoke. There was a trash bag taped over the smoke detector. After complaining we were told by the manager that was what we paid for. After more complaining he offered to refund our money and we could go elsewhere. This was at 9:30 at night. After further complaining he finally offered 2 other rooms. They were much better. The area appeared to be a high crime area and we didn’t feel safe. The free breakfast was a joke.

This is a completely remodeled and updated hotel. The are laminate floor, modern led lighting, a new walk in shower, small refrigerator and tv. The breakfast is mostly cereal, banana, cafe, and toast. The rooms were clean and the check in safe friendly and helpful.

I would give it a 10 out of 10 because the room is clean, they have a good breakfast but the pool water is completely green full of algae so it cannot be used and the hotel is advertised as having a pool but it is not in operation

Poor AC

From first look it appeared as if the property was well maintained. That is not the case for the room we stayed in - 105. The bed, not on a conventional frame, moved a lot. Felt as if we were chasing it down. The mattress was not comfortable, we actually left a night early to avoid the back ache. The dresser draws were falling apart. There was an open light socket above the mirror in the bathroom. The pool was filthy and we could not bring ourselves to swim in it, even with the extreme heat.

Breakfast was weak. Other things were great

The pool was nasty and green. The housekeeper was very nice. The a/c didnt ger the room very cold and the alarm clock was not working right.

We checked in at 6pm after a long day of driving. We got into the room and it wreaked of urine! The pilliw case had blood on it, saw 2 cockaroaches throughout the night and another bug found crawling on the other bed we didnt use. Also found 2 small dirty towels on the window seal. Never again!

The pool was green because the jets were broke. If we had known the pool was closed we would not have booked that days inn. Also our key card did not work that first day so I have to go back into the office for her to reprogram. The next evening when we came back we could not access our room again because they had us staying one night not two

Walking distance from the beach. Close driving distance to major stores and food. Ice machine out of order so I went to the gas station for ice instead. I was checked in by a very friendly lady and the check out lady was also very polite too. Only the gentleman I inquired about the ice machine to was a bit curt.

The rooms were clean, no issues but it is a bit outdated. No issues with the staff they were nice.

The property is somewhat old and rundown. This is apparent from the street. The lobby is clean and well kept. The desk attendant was very nice and personable. Our room was freshly cleaned and obviously well mopped. The bedsheets had a few stains. For the low rate that we payed this is well within expectations. The first morning when we left, the door would not lock behind us. The staff could not make it lock either. They told us they would watch the room and maintenance would fix it once they arrived for the day. When we returned the door was still unlocked. Fast forward another day and the door was still unlocked after speaking with multiple front desk attendants. This was not a problem at night as we could lock it from the inside but when we were out during the day we could not leave anything valuable in the room. The third front desk attendant with whom we spoke actually tried to fix it himself and found a maintenance person to replace the door handle. But this took two entire days. I believe a locking door is the bare minimum for a hotel to achieve, even one with a low cost. The price was right, but the lack of lock means a return visit is highly unlikely.

The property was dirty. Uncut grass and trashy. The pool was very green. The ice machine didn’t work. The washer and dryer also was not working!! Management was upset because we asked for towels and said if we want clean ones we had to carry in our dirty ones so that they could be replaced.

It was amazing

The initial presentation of the room looked nice. However, when you shower no matter what side the small curtain is on, water leaks over and into the shower floor. The beds were not cleaned as there was sand and hair left on top of the masters sheet; so we had to sleep on top of the bed sheet. The pool was greenish with a very slippery bottom and bugs swimming around and in it. Would not recommend staying here and will feel like I should be reimbursed for a terrible experience.

The pool was very dirty. You couldn't see the bottom. Missing room numbers and rusty fixtures.

Nice location across from the water. For the price it was great! Breakfast is the weakest area but for the price we weren’t expecting more from it so no big deal. Ice machine was inconvenient but, again, for the price it was fine. We really did enjoy this place mostly because it was clean and the view of the water!

The rooms are infested with termites, tried two separate rooms. Also the pool is literally filthy and green. I did check out and was refunded.

First room was infested with mosquitoes. Second room was covered in dead flies. We canceled the room but Expedia still charged us for one night. Shame on you Days Inn, and shame on you Expedia.
