Great hotel close to everything in Avignon. Friendly staff, comfortable room and tasty breakfast buffet. The room is small, but totally adequate for a short stay. Totally recommend.

Nice location, clean room and good breakfast. A added bonus was the centrally located filtered water dispenser and ice machine which were greatly appreciated. For the rate top notch hotel. The only update could be to the entry area of hotel which looks a bit like Grandma's house.

Perfectly located in the middle of Avignon

The hotel and rooms are charming and comfortable. We loved our room so much we wished we would have stayed longer to be able to enjoy it. Very convenient location in the heart of Avignon. Wonderful breakfast.

Great location, the breakfast is amazing

Amazing hotel. We booked the superior room, which was quite large. Hotel is located in a plaza next to the palace de papes, so close to all attractions. Very clean and service was excellent. Solid breakfast. Stayed 4 nights and would stay there again. We were carless but train/bus station was only 10 minutes away.

We stayed in a Jr Suite and it was a great size for the 2 of us. The bed was comfortable, the front desk was helpful and kind, and the air conditioning actually cooled our room in the height of a heat wave in August! The proximity to restaurants and shopping can’t be beat, as well as historical sights and tours. We took the train from Avignon to Avignon Center and walked (pulling luggage along) to the hotel. The breakfast was impressive, included eggs and bacon/sausage and pancakes.. as well as pastries and fresh loaves of bread for toast, fresh fruits, cheese, ham, olives.. all extras! The square is right out the door, as is the Opera House and many museums. We felt very safe navigating the streets of Avignon. We took advantage of the Petite Train to tour around the area, a nice way to get off your feet and see some sights, however not a lot of information is shared on the tour. Would suggest joining an early morning walking tour, as there is so much history in Avignon you’ll learn much more. As for the hotel.. the location was perfect. The hotel is pet friendly, though we didn’t travel with ours.. and there was no odor or pet hair visible in our room or along the hallway/elevator. Highly recommend Hotel de l’Horloge.

Traditional style hotel in a good location. Room fairly small, a little difficult to manoeuvre around the bed, but ok for the price.

We LOVED Hotel de l’Horloge. It is on a square with wonderful cafes and a carousel. The team at the hotel was fantastic. Our rooms were lovely and so well put together. Would stay here again happily !

Good location at Avignon centre.

The hotel is a perfect place for what we wanted. Street restaurants and shopping all around the Hotel. The staff is amazing and attentive.

Overall a very pleasant stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was uniformly efficient and helpful and welcoming. Only issue, a minor one, was lack of sufficient power outlets or sub ports to charge our devices.

Beautiful single room with a terrace and view. The room was cute and practical with a coffee/tea maker and bathtub. Great breakfast buffet. Good value for money.

Absolutely delightful stay at this boutique hotel. Location could not be better as it is right on the horlodge square, with plenty of restaurants within a block. Also only 3 minutes from the Palace of the Popes. In addition they serve a terrific breakfast with many many choices The one thing you need to know though is that it is built into an older building, and you have to go up and down stairs a lot to get to your room But to offset that minor inconvenience, they have an ice maker- the first I have seen in France!

The breakfast was very good. We were put in the smallest room in the hotel and the room and the bathroom were very dated. The shower glass did not close and water went all over the bathroom floor. There was no power outlet in the bathroom. Small double bed. The AC could not be turned down and it was very hot in the room at night.
