A great hotel, and especially a great breakfest. I always stay in the Seibel when I am in Munich. In a great location, only 1 U Bahn stop from the Munich Hbf.

Impeccable room with neutral decoration (was actually better than the pictures from previous reviews). Everything worked fine in the room including the heater, electrical outlets and sockets. Only negative comment is the absence of a safe to keep precious and personal items, like travel documents and jewels. Friendly staff with super quick check-in and check-out. The breakfast is simple yet full. You have eggs, grilled veggies, cake, yoghurt, oats, cereals, cheese, ham, bread, juice, tea and coffee. I think the breakfast is surprisngly very complete. Here the negative comment would be the size of the dining room which gets croweded at peak times. Superb location at less than 15 minutes walk to S-bahn and U-bahn. Very safe area (even at night) with other hotels, restaurants, a bakery, grocery stores, a supermarket, and other businesses nearby. To sum up, really good hotel that went beyond our expectations in terms of comfort, location and breakfast.

Although a bit dated the hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a short walk from main station.

Overall it is a great hotel for a day or two. The only issue was the personal was super rude and unfriendly. I could not connect to the wifi and the receptionist did not want to provide another password to try.

The hotel itself is fine, the location is easily accessible, the room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was good. What was a disappointment that there was no mentioning in the description of the room, that it is a room in the basement with a window at at ground level. I felt that I was tricked into booking a room that I would not have chosen knowing this fact.

Rooms are small and no air conditioning

This is as advertised. The morning breakfast room is very charming and on good days you can sit outside on a small balcony. I really enjoyed my visit. Great for those who are budget conscious but want to stay in a nice area. Loads of restaurants nearby.

The hotel is very comfortable. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. The free breakfast had a good variety.

Location was good. Close to city. The person in the reception was helpful. In our booking it stated that breakfast was included. When we were checking out he claimed that it was not included. But he was helpful and did not request any additional fee.

Great location, comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was delicious in a sun flooded dining area with views to the park. Would recommend.

It is old and lacks conveniences like elevator or proper introduction . The room was sparse and poorly decorated . The pillow on the bed was too thin . The room smelled of old toilet drains . This property needs total renovation .

Typical size for a European hotel - small! The only frustrating thing about that is that there really isn’t enough room for two suitcases. Staff was very nice and welcoming, and included breakfast was great.

Loved that the hotel is right across the street from Oktoberfest! It's an old fashioned building that doesn't have a lot of extras, but we didn't need them. Friendly staff, clean hotel, & free breakfast. Everything we wanted.

Nice hotel near the centre of Munich. Clean and nicely furnished. Good breakfast and value for money. Right across from where they hold the Oktoberfest. Ubahn and shops and restaurants nearby. The only downside us that there was no ac and it was VERY noisy if you keep the windows open.

The hotel should not be represented as a 4 or 4 1/2 star The bathrooms are very small and old, the vintage furnishings are tired, chipped and the beds a single thin mattress. Our room is as lacking light fixtures in 1/2 and was dark and unpleasant. The morning breakfast was the highlight in a sunny room with pleasant efficient and friendly staff

This was my fourth time staying at this hotel. I enjoy being in the Theresienwiese area and across from Oktoberfest, and this time, the Tollwood Christmas market. The U is just down the street with easy access to the city center. There are many good restarants in the Theresienwiese area, also Aldi Sud and a laundromat. This hotel has no elevator requiring you to carry your luggage upstairs. The rooms are small and older but have a charm to them that some will find attractive. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of heat from the old radiators in the room. We enjoy the kitschy lights and decorations, especially the chickens on the breakfast buffet. The complimentary breakfast here is excellent! Meats, cheese, rolls, fruit, cereal, fruit salad, yoghurt, juice, coffee, tea and more...It is truly outstanding for a complimentary breakfast. The staff has always been warm and welcoming. The woman at the desk even helped with the luggage as the hotel is up the hill and we were out of breath. To sum up, a touch of the old world mixed with a great location in a quiet neighborhood away from the touristy area.

Property was conveniently located to Oktoberfest grounds. Its a basic room to sleep and shower, nothing fancy but a decent room to come back to.

Friendly staff, happy to keep cases on last day. The stairs are hard to negotiate with cases.

Stayed 2 nights here, and while the hotel is a bit tired looking, it was a very pleasant stay. Comfortable bed and continental buffet breakfast.

The room provided was very small to the point that the 2 suitcases I had hardly fitted. Also the picture of a single room on the webpage is misleading.

Great location for taking in octoberfest. That being said parking is nonexistent to terrible especially when the fest is on. Nice little breakfast, bright dining room. But I would not stay again. The cancellation policy is ridiculously stringent and the room is overpriced for the quality of accommodation.
