Such a beautiful facility, but poorly planned for remodeling.

Close enough to everything. Was a lot of remodeling going on. Elevator came in handy.

Pool area and breakfast was good. Comfy beds.

The front desk staff was overwhelmed with simple requests and did not communicate with management (replace a broken hair dryer, issue a refund for an early checkout which after two weeks we still haven't received). The room smelled so musty and mouldy, we had to leave the window open all day/night to get some fresh air and make breathing bearable. The spa and portions of the pool floor and walls looked stained and dirty. Very uninviting.

Very busy. Front desk said they were actually overbooked. No vending or ice available. Said everything broken. Had to door dash for water. Breakfast was not kept up. No one paying attention. Ran out of everything- eggs, batter, sausage, cups, etc….being that busy, and seeing a long line for breakfast, how are you not watching? And how are you not prepared for it when you know you were overbooked? Booked two rooms, my reservation got split. Usually stay Hilton or IHG properties but decided to try this. Was talked down to for not booking directly. Never again.

It was within walking distance to Olde 41 venue where our daughter was getting married. Close to many different food places.

Quiet surroundings

We have used this hotel several times over the years for family trip. The only issue was I guess because of a full house, we had like cold water the first two days.

Breakfast wasn’t very good. Not many options. And the room was very thick and heavy air. The hotel overall was very outdated. Bathroom was tiny.

Staff goes out of their way to take care of you. Makes you feel at home

Our stay was good overall. It was during a blizzard & were told by the guy at desk that he won't be shoveling because he's not paid enough to care about the sidewalks. Kind of funny but we had to walk all the way from the main door to the far end of the hotel to get to our room. Pool was by the main door so lots of walking. Hot tub was too hot. Pool temp was good. Nice pool area, too! Even some arcade games. Our room was at 60* when we got there & took hours to heat up. Room was immaculate, tho! Great job cleaning, housekeeping! Breakfast was actually really good - hot egg omelette & fresh sausage links. I was impressed! Had to wait for pricing to go down to book. The manager who chooses rates went from $136 per night, 2 night minimum to $300 per night! Two days later was $119 & single nights. He must not have wanted bookings?! Unusual series of happenings but overall a nice place.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Very courteous staff. Especially the young man from friday afternoon and evening.

It’s a clean property with kind people. The breakfast wasn’t extravagant but it was nice to have a warm meal. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean.

We were loading our car in the dark at 6am. Upon re entering the building niether of our cards worked so we needed to walk around the building to enter through the main lobby. The outside lights turned off so it was quite dark outside. Not a big complaint just an observation.

Well the staff was really nice, the room itself could use a little updating. The outlets barely worked/held a plug in them and one side of the bed had no outlets, which made conveniently charging your phone impossible. We stayed 2 nights and in between, room service never tidied the room or replenished the towels. Definitely just average and a little bit of a let down.

Would not accommodate us one day early, even though they had rooms available, because they "like to keep guests in the same room to make it easier for housekeeping" and our reserved room wasn't available. I offered to change rooms or to switch rooms after one day, but she said no. In what universe do you turn away business for that reason? We found another Wyndham family hotel nearby that accommodated us very well. Might never stay at the Americinn again due to that level of stupidity.

The shower was great. The big recliner was wonderful in the room. However, the room cleanliness was just ok. The window tracks were really dirty. Had not been wiped in a long time. Location was good.
