NO REAL HOT WATER, CABLE FROZEN ALL THE TIME, DIRTY LOOKING POOL, BACK OF HOTEL LOOKS LIKE CONDEMED HOTEL, NON WORKING CARS STORED ON PROPERTY

The TV camp turning off didn't get to see any TV for the channels said no internet

The staff here is very friendly and easy to do businesss with. The hotel has a very relaxing and laid-back feel and I felt comery comfortable throughout my stay here. The same cannot be said about other hotels I've recently experienced where the staff/management can be cold and unwelcoming. I highly recommend staying at Desert Lodge.

Great price for the room. It had a refrigerator and microwave. For 2 beds and pet friendly, this place is a win!!

Expedia should remove this hotel from its listing. It was literally the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The AC was full of dust. The windows were screwed not allowing to open for fresh air. The window curtains were dirty. Bathroom completely outdated. Walls and ceiling full of patches. We removed the sheet covers and mattress full of stains. And no words to describe the mattress base.

Check in was a breeze! On 1st glance, It has a quaint, rustic exterior, but don't let that dissuade you. Opening the door using the latest technology in card reader, tap and turn the knob. Reveals an updated interior modern design and the comfortable bed. Be careful adjusting the arm of TV bracket. My TV almost crashed onto the furniture because one side is not turned equally as tight as the other and I wasn't aware until it began slipping. Thankfully though it didn't rush crash and I was able to connect my HDMI cable and Roku device to access additional Entertainment options. The owner is pleasant and helpful & I think I woke himup early to extend my stay.

Great place to stay on a budget ...m otherwise!

Run by Indian couple . I walked in and walked out . It was so horrible and disgusting i preferred to lose my money and book somewhere else . Mould in mattress , bedbugs , holes in bathroom, little thin towels with stains. It’s a catfish hotel

my overall stay was amazing staff were all very helpful and friendly the guy at the front desk let me pricematch and gave me the same price that i would get online super friedly i would definitely remain to stay here and i recommended it to my local friends as well

Fridge and tv did not work. WiFi poor. Thin, small towels. We were there for four days. The two times we asked for room to be made up, no one did so. The pool did get cleaned. Get what you pay for…

Consistent, friendly service, helpful cleaning staff, clean facilities... the proprietor cares about his customers and his facility. A hidden gem in the desert, for sure.

Very old building! Cracks in the walls, needs new toilet, shower! Beds were old and box springs were stained. Bedspreads were dirty! It’s one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had! Definantly wasn’t worth the money! I feel like I got ripped off!!

The property was so old, did not have a trash can. The best were ripped apart, The mattress was so old and so uncomfortable i could feel the wires on my back. They did not have enough towels. There was medicine left behind. Meaning they don't even clean the rooms. Has very heavy smoke smell.Had two rags for 3 people . This was just an ugly property. Not worth the price. The front desk guy was nice and the pool was clean

The property overall definitely needs to be updated. They have a great location within the city but many of the other hotels in the immediate around them all seem to be in need of some investment.

The two men who ran it were very nice, but the property itself was terrible. The room smelled, had no personal amenities, had to ask for more than 1 towel for 2 people, had to ask for soap. No security lock inside the door. Could see light through the door when closed. The door handle to the bathroom was loose. Fan in bathroom didn't work. Shower was stained and furniture was marred and gouged. Would never stay there again!!!

Good location relative to downtown. Classic 70s Palm Springs. Good size rooms. Needs some work and that may be happening. Friendly helpful owners.

You wouldn’t stay at this property and my wife and I didn’t. It was a dive. Run down/dirty / not acceptable. We could not get a refund as it was prepay with no refund. Understandable because once you saw it we’d all want a refund. This property should be taken off the list of Expedia listing

i was bitten by bed bugs while there and have brought them home either on my clothes or in my suitcase and now have them at home.

There was so much opportunity in the cleanup specifically in the towels and bed, we saw a cockroach in the room.

This property is in a state of decline. Save your money and sleep in your car.

Staff was friendly but the room was terrible. The bathroom was literally falling apart with broken fixtures (soap dish in shower- gone). Leaking toilet, cabinetry in disrepair. Light fixtures had holes in the shades and bathroom window had spray paint on it and didn't lock. This place could be nice but needs a serious remodel and refresh before it can be recommended.

I did feel cheated in price for what I paid and what we got. I didn’t feel comfortable with the shower as one of the handle holders was loose with a I wish the owners would invest a bit more for the up keep. It’s in a great location near downtown.

We arrived around 4:30 P. M. As soon as we walked in the room# the place didn't smell clean at all walking into the bathroom the tub didn't even look cleaning had to go buy cleaners to clean it myself. We left to a friend's house when we got back it was like a party was happening people drinking through out the property come 11:00P. M. The noise was so loud children running up and down the stairs and halls they had very loud music untill 2:30 3:00 A. M. By the time we went to sleep it was around 4:00 A. M. Come day light I woke up to a bad smell of sewage that had come up into the tub and the toilet I called the office to let them know and a woman was yelling at me I ask for the manager all I got was sarcasm from the woman we couldn't shower or clean up for that matter I asked for a refund and I was laughed at it was the worst stay in a motel I ever had in my life this place needs to be shut down , Don't waste your money on this place

Place is falling apart inside, roaches are everywhere, drawers hanging, no door knob to the bathroom. Had to move to three different rooms just to have a bed that is decent to sleep on. I will never return nor will I recommend. I pay $150 for the night, think it’s not cheap. Even if this “looks” like a good option for the price. Do not stay here.

Not so good

There was dirty bedding on one of the beds, under the beds had not been cleaned in what looked like forever, and I’m not sure when it was last updated. I don’t recommend staying there.

We weren't expecting to have to go buy our own hand soap to use in the bathroom. The shower pan looks like it has been painted multiple times and it all coming up and cracking, just chipping away and washing down the drain. The shower head is missing a piece and shoots water out the side. The box springs were filthy, one looked like it had blood stains on both sides of it.
