Sheets are not clean even blood was there. We don’t have time to complain

Apart from its convenient location to the central station, and a friendly reception staff , there is little else to recommend about this property. Old facility , cosmetic improvements only, warm room -so windows had to be left open, and the street noise endured.

Hotel Terminus is exactly what the name suggests. It's literally 2 minutes walk from the main station in Hamburg and convenient for travellers on short stop-overs. The hotel is on a busy street with lots of kebab shops and people all over the place although it is very secure and you get buzzed in through the front door. Reception was friendly and welcoming and the room was clean and spacious for the price. Shower was ok and the bed was big (2 singles pushed together). I did have 2 issues with this hotel. The most important being the bed. Although the bed was ok, if a little hard, the pillows were awful and about as supportive as a wet towel. I really didn't sleep well on the 2 nights I was there as I just couldn't get comfortable. The other thing worth a mention is that there is a safe in the room but you have to pay extra to use it! If it's already there then it just seems a money making exercise to charge extra for using it, and an additional deposit for a key! Overall it was alright for the price but I wouldn't stay there again as the hard bed and useless pillows made for a very poor nights sleep.

Everything around the average but a nice hotel around this area.

The room was as promised, functional and the staff were very good. Access was limited to a very small elevator but no air conditioner which made the room quite hot. Very good location in relationship to the train station(hence the hotel name).

Well located value for money hotel. The staff are amazingly friendly. Very close to the main station so ideal for late arrivers (like us) . Its not plush so dont expect too much.

Centrally located hotel , perfect for a one/two night stay in the City. Room and building a little dated but modern bathroom and friendly reception staff.

Block from rail station!

This is an odd little hotel. I had a single room which was small and in need of renovation. That said, it was lean, functional and comfortable enough with an attached and renovated bathroom. The elevator stops are halfway between every second floor so there is always half a flight of steep stairs to negotiate. The staff are helpful and friendly, the wifi signal ok and I would reakfast good value. I would probably choose to stay there again.

Hotel is a 5 mins. from the train station. Which is nice the staff were friendly and helpful. I’ll would happily stay there again.

Near the HBF and centrally located in a lively part of time. It was nevertheless quiet and comfortable for sleeping. Breakfast is also good value with good variety.We would return.

The hotel manager was the best part of this hotel location. He was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also pleasing but the location and comfort of this hotel was disappointing. The neighborhood the hotel was located did not offer our family a safe feeling. Very multi-cultural and a lot of street noise.

Good location. Short walk to train station. Funky smell from washroom much of the time. Had to run the shower every 2-3 hours to clear out odor coming from shower drain. Pillows not very fluffy. Most of the staff made an effort.

Very basic hotel, we had to pay more for ensuite and there was no air-con. This hotel is in a bad street, even though close to train station.

Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Noisy, hot, not a family location. Lots of better places to stay in Hamburg.
