We arrived early but our room wasn’t ready so the receptionist said she would call me when the room was ready but never did call. We got a great nights sleep… I loved the pillows and bedding comfy!
We went to get breakfast(6:30-9:30) before we checked out, it was 6:50am but no one around and no food. There was another couple there wanting some coffee but it was empty too :(

Nice, clean, well staffed motel. Breakfast is typical for this kind of place, waffle maker, bagels, yogurt, scrambled eggs, etc.

Rooms were not very clean. Curtains were falling down, refrigerator was broken, phone didn’t work. Pool and hot tub very small. Breakfast selection was small as well.

The hotel smelled awful. The pool was dirty and smelled of bleach, not chlorine. The rooms were dirty. The floors had not been swept or mopped. The rooms were musty and hot. The remote and fridge were not working. It is a shame it is so expensive for such an awful place.

We like staying at the Comfort Inn when we come to Ruidoso for a short stay. Convenient to shops and dining. Hotel is clean and affordable.

Everything from check in to check out was outstanding! The location cannot be beat close to literally everything you need in midtown Ruidoso. Clean and comfortable l; it was perfect for a couples weekend getaway! Will definitely stay again!

Comfortable and clean room. Bed was comfy and plenty of towels in the room. Was very convenient to midtown with shopping, bars, food, and art within just steps.

Do not stay here. No one working the front desk, the employee had left the hotel, and didn't notify anyone that she was leaving. We waited over an hour before the employee showed up, and that was after the general manager of the hotel chain was contacted. No one could get a hold of the missing employee or the owner. No explanation - no apology - no compensation. Then after getting into our room, we discovered a lot of black mold in and around the shower. We had to switch rooms. The missing employee was not fired and working the front desk when we checked out the next morning. Which took too much time since she was confused by the change of room numbers. The worst experience we've had with a hotel. Save yourself the annoyance of a poorly run hotel and stay someplace else.

The hotel and service were excellent. I took off a few stars, though, because my husband got food poisoning from the gravy served at breakfast. The employee was nonchalant and unconcerned when I reported the incident.

The bed was in very poor condition. You could feel every old coil in the mattress. The bed frame was weak and rickety. Due me having arthritis in my back, I immediately had to checkout.

Our truck transmission went out in our way to this destination- called and was told they would ok with manager to waive fees in light of our predicament. They charged us $243.58 so not too happy about that.
