We were very pleased that this property is moving in an eco-friendly direction! (We hope it is a chain-wide commitment.) Reducing housekeeping visits, with associated wash loads and plastic trash can liners is something everyone should be doing. Even the stirrers in the coffee valet packets were made of wood. I would like to see a return to non-plastic drinkware, but they are making strides forward.
The hotel and our room were immaculate, and the common areas were cheery and well-lit. We ony wish there had been a second chair in our room.
But the coup de grâce of our visit was that the housekeeping staff was given Thanksgiving day off!

We stayed here for a quick overnight visit and next day sight-seeing trip to where my wife and I first met and to visit friends. Very convenient (between Amherst and Northhampton) and great rooms, good breakfast, and they even let me borrow a small conference room to do a zoom call on the second morning. Very helpful staff on all shifts

We have stayed here twice, once while looking at colleges with our daughter and then returning later to visit because we liked the Amherst area. The property is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The museums we visited (Eric Carle Picture Book Museum and Emily Dickinson Museum) and the concert we attended (at The Drake in Amherst) were all very close. We would definitely stay here again. We especially appreciated the variety of choices at breakfast and the free newspapers (USA Today and the local Amherst paper). Thank you for a wonderful visit.

The staff here is helpful and kind! They’re all great, but I have to say Kelsea specifically was absolutely wonderful to deal with. She went above and beyond to help us secure the rooms we needed for the whole family. TY to the entire staff- you’re great st what you do. We appreciate you!

This is my Go To hotel whenever we have to stay in the Five Colleges area, plus it offers free parking and breakfast! Close to a variety of food establishments, big box stores, Lowe’s and Home Depot, Trader Joe’s and easy direct routes to Amherst, Deerfield and Northampton. It is tucked into an area off Route 9, but it was quiet and comfortable. We will be back.

Breakfast; which was late, was ok, but not great. The individual cups of oatmeal are less desirable sinc3 they have a lot of sugar. The door required the handle be lifted up rather than pushed down, something the desk clerk neglected to tell us when we checked in. Had to go back to front desk to find out why our door wasn’t working. Access to the hotel is confusing and obscured by bushes along the highway.

We have to request to do the room cleaning if we stay more than a day. If you did not request to clean, when you come back to the room next day it will not be cleaned including the bathrooms and towels will also not be changed. This is very bad.

It was very clean and room was big. Seemed to have been newly remodeled but decorating was odd. Lobby was fine and breakfast was not good. Staff was very nice our first day, but after second night They would not let us check out a half hour late which was inconvenient. Was really overpriced for the level of this hotel. Not worth it at all. Would not stay here again for the price almost 500 a night. We were there for a tournament and other hotels nearby were sold out. 5 min to university. Close to shopping.
