The property was in a good location for what we needed. It was good access to Fisherman's Wharf and the waterfront activities with not a lot of walking. The hotel itself was pretty clean and orderly even though they were very busy. Our room was small, but clean and orderly. We had good service from the hotel staff.

Highly recommend. Service was great and staff was very helpful. Valet was great too. Super fast and very nice. Had room with bay view of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. In a great spot too. Not a far walk from everything.

Can’t go wrong with Holiday Inn Express. Front desk staff were suburb and went above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Room was spacious and clean. Only issue was the AC was loud, but we got used to it.

Great location for walking around Fisherman's Wharf. Be prepared for additional cost. .if driving prepay for parking when reserving, otherwise the posted parking rate is $75 a night . .plus they charge a $25 fee for amenities, not included in the Hotels com charges!

We enjoyed our stay here. We were able to walk easily to Pier 39 and even enjoyed walking for exercise up the steep streets to Lombard Street.

We had a blast. Their Concierge hooked us up with public transportation, And fun affordable stuff to do. It is walkable to pier 39 and fishermans wharf. Their breakfast was greatnasnwell.

I had a couple of minor issues at my stay but the staff was very nice and solved it all. The cleaning lady was extra nice, loved her. Overall a good stay. Good location, bus stops are nearby, lots of walkable things to do around.

Convenient location, everything nearby. Walkable neighborhood to attractions, dinning and shopping. The breakfast is a good start to your day, however we had better selections at their other hotels.

This hotel adds $75 to the bill ($50 of which is for incidentals and is refundable if note used). However, $25 is for facilities and some other type of additional charges which is not refundable. Terrible practice that many hotels use to jack up the price. Very disappointing. Just include these charges in the price quoted so customers can make fair comparisons.

Perfect location

It was a nice place to stay. Walking distance from everything. The room was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

A nice hotel in a good, touristy area. Our room was in a terrible location (next to service door so constant banging and talking outside room all night) and we had no view, but to be fair we did not pay extra for one. The location is safe and walkable, though we did not walk at night. We also did not have a car, and I would not want to have one in the area, based on how busy it was and the impossibility and expense of parking. This hotel has a nice, included, hot breakfast each day, though it was packed. Plenty of food and lots of choices. I would recommend, though I wish we had switched rooms after the first night.

My bathroom drain clogged and maintenance flushed the blockage down the toilet which caused a blockage in the toilet

Close to pier

Great location! Very clean and nice decor. Breakfast was more than I expected. So many choices. Highly recommend.

Pros: Great location and the front desk employee was friendly and helpful providing recommendations on things to see and do in the area. The King bed was very comfortable and the sheets were super soft. The room was clean and the building is well maintained and clean. Valet parking is a great service and convenient. Cons: Our room was very small and located in the hallway coming off the elevator. There was barely any space to walk around the King bed to get to the bathroom. Bathroom was also very small. This is not consistent with the typical room size for a Standard King during our previous stays. There was no luggage rack in the room but it wouldn’t have fit anyways. Had to use the top of the desk as a luggage rack. Next time I’ll ask for another room if they try to stick us in this closet again.

The staff were excellent, the room was clean, the surrounding area was great for vacationing. All around a great stay.

Proximity to the wharf and little Italy. Public Transportation options are very close by, great for getting around San Francisco.
