Great place

We called in advance, informing them we are coming but will be late. Upon arrival, they informed us they did not have our room type available. They said they moved us to a room with 2 queen beds saying “there is still room for 4 people”. However we specifically requested a queen cause our 2 kids sleep with us when we are away from home. 2 queens would not work, we put them in between us so they can’t fall off. Well they ended up giving us a king, but it was a handicap room. No worries, problem solved. Until it was time to shower. As there was no tub, me and the kids took a shower. While in the shower, the water flooded the bathroom. My husband went to the front desk for towels to help contain the mess. The front desk told my husband to put the towels in a bag and put them in the hall. It was pretty mind boggling. They made up for it my comping the room. I sure hope this was just a bad day. Over all we really like Holiday Express.

Very nice, clean and fully renovated. Super friendly front desk staff. I loved the blackout blinds. Nice breakfast. I was traveling in my motorcycle and they allowed me to park by the front entrance and right in front of the security camera.

Great hotel, great breakfast

Safe area, good staff, pool and hot tub area very nice and temperatures perfect on both. Beds on the soft side which i prefer.

Front desk clerk was quick and friendly. Unfortunately, there were no luggage carts, even after 45 minutes. There are 100 rooms in the hotel and only 3 luggage carts. To be clear, there was not a rush of people coming and going (not even 3, in the 45 minutes we waited). Our room had a slightly musty smell, not enough to leave, but enough to tell me they need to do a better job of controlling the heat and humidity inside the building. The halls were all hot. These are fixable problems, it is just a matter of whether IHG cares enough to make their hotels on par with other hotel groups.
