A no frills stay. My key card had to be replaced every day. The bed was only a little softer than the floor.

Clean, quiet, friendly check in. Perfect stop for overnight, passing through Bishop.

Wow, the desk clerk who greeted us was very nice, the motel overall was quite shotty. The bed was uncomfortable, the refrigerator made a high screech pitch to the point where we had to unplug it, and the heater cycled randomly. And the breakfast was absolutely the most bare bones we’ve ever ever experienced. We won’t be back to this hotel.

please raise the height of the showers!! Way too short for the average person.

Your staff were friendly.
I relieved a good suggestion on where to go for dinner.
This was important as many of the restaurants were closing as it was near 8:00 pm on a weekday.
I showed up late for the continental breakfast, just as the manager was cleaning up.
She kindly offered to keep it open until I had something to eat and drink.
Real nice to get that cup of coffee!
The manager and I had a friendly conversation.
She was the highlight of my visit.

It was hot and the AC ran around the clock. Very noisy at night. But the room was cleaned every day which was a pleasant surprise since Covid. The bed was comfortable and my privacy was nice.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lacking even for a continental breakfast. Something about ego waffles screams cheap.

The property is dated and needs to be upgraded. Carpets in our room were stained and dirty. No amount of vacuuming can clean the carpets. They need to be removed and replaced with a laminate or tile.
Otherwise cleanliness was very good. Service from the front desk was friendly and fast. Maid service was excellent, breakfast was very basic yet good enough for a satisfying breakfast.
I was happy with my stay.

They imposed a $28 resort fee that was not included when I made the reservation. Rather than simply checking in, you are directed to another person for your room key who tries to sell you.

However i don't understand the resort fee of $5.00, unless it is to use the pool. I have never considered Bishop a resort area in all of the years i have gone there.

We just needed a place to sleep and shower in the morning as we were traveling home from a trip. Luis at the front desk was wonderful, the hotel itself is older and needs a makeover.

Room carpet was extra damp. The front desk said they had shampoo it earlier in the day. It was too late to ask to change rooms because all of our stuff was in the room. So I asked for more towels to put on the carpet so we would keep getting our socks and feet wet and to keep from slipping Also missing fire extinguisher outside.

Biggest downfall was the breakfast, we’ve booked many properties with this detail but when they said breakfast, it’s more like Continental. It wasn’t feasible for our kids to eat there as it wasn’t adequate. It added an additional cost we did not expect. Carpet was was dirty and stained. Clean enough to shower and sleep.

A/C didn’t work in one room so I was moved to another. Second room didn’t cool down until 3 in the morning. Didn’t sleep much.

Staff and area were wonderful. The rooms were clean, a little on the older side, but definitely clean. The only issue we had was we had ants coming into our room and table. The head clerk did say they do have ant problems sometimes. Overall, it was a good stay.

This hotel is in the middle of town, almost across the street from Schat's bakery. Very good location for dining and shopping needs. It's one of the older hotels in town, but it is reasonably priced.

This was my first time staying at the Travelodge in Bishop, CA. Overall it was a nice experience, nothing horrible to report but nothing spectacular as well. The biggest complaint I have is the WiFi service was terrible in my room. My iPhone kept dropping the weak signal, although my laptop held onto it much better. It wasn't the fastest service either. I will say the pillows were some of the most comfortable pillows I've ever had in a hotel. That may sound silly but they allowed me to sleep well.
