The facility seems to be recovering from earlier flood damage. Everything worked well and the staff were very responsive

We arrived and the entire reception freaked of cigarette smoke. None of the rooms are handicapped accessible. The halls real of smoke and the carpets were filthy. Our room had the tv on like someone was in there watching. The sheets were dirty with crusted stuff. The carpet stained and trash under the bed. No extra plugs available in the room. Even the clock was unplugged for the lights. Cobwebs from the lamp shade. Thick dust behind the table. The Bed was hard. Pillowcases dirty. We ended up leaving because it was so dirty and uncomfortable.

We stayed on a Saturday night and paid $120 for a room in this run-down hotel. Staff was pleasant, and room clean, but sheets and blankets worn and old stains on them. A construction worker hotel. Disappointed for price.

This property had recently been flooded and it was disgusting! Things were wet, broken, smelly, and awful. We were in a tight spot to find somewhere to stay otherwise I would have walked out!

I actually thought the $75 was worth the story. Nobody at counter, walked into room and got smacked in the face with smell of pee, smoke and whatever else smells vile. I drove 12hrs to get there and immediately left my room to get a cocktail and food so I didn’t have to stay. I left at 5am and hit the road. Whew!

This property has not been updated since construction! Rusty, towel holders and linens/towels that I wouldn’t even use as rags! Unless you’re looking for cheap, stay away! There was some sort of an event going on, that raise the prices of all the other hotels! I should’ve paid the higher price!

No place for clothes to be hung up. Dirt on floor’s & carpeting. One table lamp for the entire room.
Painting of the hallways was incomplete. Hallway carpeting was very strange. Windows were very dirty. This motel is very rundown and dated.

My room smelt really bad, it was dark only one light. I was on the middle floor and the top floor had kids running up and down the hallway at all hours of the night. Housekeeping never came to my room the entire time I was there, when I mentioned this at checkout, the front desk person said it was up to me to come get anything I needed, I told him they should maybe mention that when people check in. The plug in socket, yes there was only one, was very loose and should be replaced. There weren’t even plastic cups in my room.

We ended leaving and getting a refund. It was so bad. It stunk like stale cigarette smoke. There was mold on the floor. It was filthy. The lady at the front desk was very nice and didn't seem surprised by us leaving after about 5 minutes in our room. Surprised that Wyndham has their name on the hotel. Moral of the story don't book a room at the Super 8 in Mankato, MN. We ended up at the Comfort Inn and it was great.

The hotel and especially our non-smoking room definitely smelled. Stale smelling. The room was very old and bathroom walls need to be painted and ceiling repaired. No water cups or facial tissues provided in the room.

Smoke smells everywhere broken lamp I don’t believe this hotel have ever been cleaned
We were supposed to spent 4 nights but we have to check out first thing in the morning because we were concerned about the smell and the dirty environment.
This hotel is not fit for leaving I think the authorities need to shot it down

When I first entered the room it had an almost unbearable odor. I couldn’t put my finger on the source of the smell. It was late and I was tired so after determining the odor was not coming from the bed, I decided to just get some sleep. When I woke up in the early morning and the smell of whatever cleaning agent they had used to mask the odor had dissipated, I realized the source of the odor was URINE. It was horrible. I immediately left and actually went to a gas station bathroom to clean up,

Carpet is in need of a change room was nice and clean no breakfast stuff or very limited juice machine was broken no coffee but check in girl was really nice and friendly also asked in my booking for first floor but that's not there fault but toilet cou be updated for handicap people and elderly so not sit on the ground but overall it was 6/10

Service was good and employees were friendly but this is definitely a budget hotel. The property is very outdated and not the cleanest. The room, especially the bathroom was also not very clean and the float in the toilet kept sticking so had to keep manually adjusting to get water to fill. Did the job for what I needed and was very inexpensive.

carpets were dirty dingy, full of hair , sheets were stiff and starchy, i only had one working light bulb in my room, barely had any tolite paper in my room , we had no kleenex tissues in our room when it was supposed to be provided, no breakfast was provided like it was advertised, machines were broken in the facility for breakfast. there was trash and under my bed in our room. The entire hotel smelled of mold, our room even had black mold spots in it. Hotel room bed were rock hard and were given the flattest pillows, no extra pillows or soaps provided.

Carpets could use a deep clean, comforter and towels were stained and thin. There was odor in the hallway and room. Broken sink and a hole in the bathroom door, the toilet sat lower than most, to almost feel like your falling. The tub basin was low and there was nothing to hold onto. All areas could use a fresh coat of paint. There was no phone in the room. Had to use the phone at front desk to reach someone so we could checkout. We were scheduled to stay for 2 nites, however we checked out the morning of the 2nd and was refunded a one nite stay. This was in no way a $90 room.
