Great property and courteous staff. Quiet neighborhood north of Oaxaca's Center. Also it was very child friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view dining area amazing service from staff

The hotel staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful to provide information about the area. Additionally there was convenient taxi transportation services arranged by the hotel staff. Our stay was very enjoyable.

What I didn’t like was that I was not given the room that I had paid for upon arrival. I also didn’t like that the waiter blew his nose in the dining area while we were having breakfast. I observed that he continued to serve without washing his hands.

Property is ok. Food is very good and at fair prices. Most of the satff is friendly, but there is always this one person that nows NOTHING about the hospitality philosophy and makes your stay a bit harsh ... You are about a 15 min drive away from downtown. Hotel assures and advertises a parking lot, which they do not have. This was issue for us and made our stay have a dark rice. There is no elevator, Rooms are not so big nor spacy. This makes them sort of small and with limited storaging space. Rooms have all interior view; this makes them a bit noisy and with cero outside view. Their internet connection is very, very unstable and unreliable, something that today becomes a terrible deal for all of us as guests. I offered to pay with AMEX, and they requested another card/FORM OF PAYMENT ( Visa / MC ) since they did not like guests paying with AMEX ... OVERRALL RESUME: Give it a try and decide for yourself what you think about this hotel. In my case, next time I am in OAXACA, I will try some other options ...

The staff at Casa Bonita was so helpful , warm and welcoming. No detail was overlooked. The hotel was so accommodating that there was never a reason to leave its beautiful grounds. The spa service was dreamy! The complimentary breakfast was gourmet, so delicious! There is even a bar on the grounds!

Amazing very clean , beds clean and comfortable But the best I will say is the staff Thank you berenice she was very kind and nice to us.

Very nice boutique hotel located outside of the center. Nice grounds, cute room. Shuttle service is available. Taxi ride to the center only 100 pesos($5). Super easy check in and check out.

This is not only a beautiful hotel, their hospitality, food and service was excellent.

Located in a residential area,15 minutes from City Central Oaxaca. Howver, they do have a free shuttle to take you there. Had to switch rooms because the A/C in the first room did not work properly. Second room was comfortable. Decorating is a bit weird--everything is purple and the mermaid murals are something else. Mainly Mexican tourists stay there. We had some language problems because many of the staff do not speak Spanish and we do not speak English. Food was good except for the complimentary breakfast which was disappointing. Also, many of the items on the menu are tradional Oaxaca which were reluctant to try. The people were extremely nice.

It is a nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Food was very good. The only problem is that it its not near the zocalo

Great staff, were very accommodating and helpful, a few things I wished we knew ahead of time. The shuttle from/to airport is not free and though your breakfasts are part of your stay (free) if you tip the server (a must) and then right that tip amount on the receipt, they will charge you that cost at the end again (not a huge deal, but should've been mentioned prior too). The pool was great, but a little confused on if we could bring our own drinks to the area, versus having to buy from the bar... but overall stay was awesome! Would stay here again, now that we are aware of the small items.

My husband and I went to Oaxaca with another couple for Day of the Dead celebrations. Hotel was great with comfy rooms, great food, good location and friendly staff. They provided shuttle transportation to the city center and arranged tours that were reasonably priced. I’d definite go back!

Cass Bonita is located in a residential neighborhood approximately 15 minutes by car from the city. The hotel provides a shuttle until 5 pm. We arranged an airport pickup and drop off and were charged a reasonable fee. We were upgraded at no charge to a bigger room with our own balcony. It's a very comfortable and extremely clean place to stay. We couldn't be happier with the customer service we received. The entire staff was very nice and we felt that they truly appreciated our business. The restaurant on the property was great. Our stay included a continental breakfast but we had other options off the menu. The food was delicious. We would highly recommend Casa Bonita for anyone traveling to Oaxaca. Thank you Francisco and the entire staff for making our trip enjoyable.

My sister and I werent sure how it would work out to be outside of Oaxaca since we didnt have a car, but we were very happy with our choice.The fresher air and quiet were very welcome. Delightful breakfasts in the garden. Taxis were very reasonable and buses run every 10 to 20 minutes from a block away (super cheap) and take about 15 minutes to the center of town. We were there for the Day of the Dead celebration -- very lovely and intimate in the cemetary of San Felipe, just 2 blocks from the hotel .The hotel's main areas' decor lacks typical Mexican charm, but the bedrooms are pleasant ,spacious and very clean. Best of all was the smiling , helpful service.
