Excellent Hotel. Staff was Friendly! Hotel is super modern

Nice, clean hotel with a good breakfast.

We booked the hotel because we were traveling from out of town of course and needed to sleep. We are two working moms and often do not get time to ourselves or the luxury of enough sleep. The room we received was directly next to the kitchen and the kitchen staff banged around quite loudly starting at 5am. After an hour of us trying to sleep through the noise, I called the front desk. We wished we had not booked this hotel, we hoped to obviously sleep there… we received no sleep and nothing was don’t to compensate our useless stay by the hotel or the desk staff. Also, we realized when we first checked into our room that our bathroom had been used and not cleaned. Water all over the countertop and floor and unwrapped, used soap.

Did not like the fact that even though I stayed there several nights, I still have not received any points on my Hilton Rewards account.

Stay was good. Average. Basically what you find at most places….highway traffic was loud, especially air brakes. No curtains to help block out sun, just roller shades that didn’t cover the whole window. Sliding bathroom door that’s not really private. Mattress was mediocre. However, everything seemed really clean, linens were fresh and clean. Floors weren’t gross. Bathroom clean. Service was really good and informative. Seemed to have a nice breakfast area that was open for 4 hours instead of only 2. Would stay again.

This was a great stay for our family. The hotel is clean and quiet and breakfast was great every morning. The breakfast staff was friendly and attentive and they provided a variety of choices each morning. We had our first tornado warning ever but without any issues, as we were kept informed throughout the process. If you are looking for a spot just to unplug and relax, this is the place for you.

Pleasantly surprised with this Hampton Inn. It was fully renovated, clean and pleasant staff. Bed was super comfortable. Could not get the ice maker working on the 3rd floor for some reason.

Room and grounds were very clean. Was a bit disappointed that the pool is not heated. Also, site requires a up front nightly damage deposit that we were unaware of. Breakfast was satisfactory and there was a variety of foods.

The staff was unfriendly they yelled at our group in the middle of the front lobby for no reason. Keys didn’t work the whole time had to be let in my room everytime. Room was not clean when checked in or stocked properly. There was no power half the day. The air conditioning didn’t work in the room. The pool was freezing cold. Worst stay I’ve ever had

All of the staff was incredible. Madison at check in and the breakfast attendant (didn’t get his name) were so good at making us all feel at home. They deserve an award!

Katie who worked at the front desk was excellent, very cheerful and helpful when I wanted to check in early.

Staff was very friendly and provided great customer service. I was told Hilton purchased Hampton which provided updated renovations and excellent service for a value friendly hotel.

Nice hotel but very noisy. There’s not enough soundproofing in the rooms.

Friendly staff. Comfortable room and bed. Very easy to get every from the location.

We had a room with a leaking ceiling and the staff was very gracious to move us to a suite the next day and refund that night. My only complaint is this room was described to us as the “problem” room and they should not put anyone in it. The ceiling was atrocious

Delightful hotel; bright, clean, updated, great breakfast. Nicely greeted by the manager, and very welcomed by Patrick during the breakfast. Everything was stocked, warm, and enjoyable. Can’t wait to return!

The service and staff were very professional, pleasant, and attentive. We just wish that we had known the pool was closed before choosing to stay there. My kids were very disappointed about that, but otherwise the stay was fine. Being from the area, I already know it’s not a newer hotel, but the updates are noticeable and done well, it’s a very clean hotel, breakfast was great, and my 9yr old says he’d like to go back to see Patrick in the morning again (his waffles were delicious). There’s currently construction going on next door, but it was barely noticeable. The beds and pillows weren’t the coziest, but we’re fine for an overnight stay. I would probably choose to stay here again, but would call first to check the pool status at booking.

Hampton Inn Valpo is a excellent choice for a weekend stay. We've stayed at other local hotels and none compare to the Hampton. Pros- location, cleaniness, breakfast. Cons- pillows are flat and uncomfortable. The key card system was down and the manager had to let us in our room but it wasn't a problem.

One of the cleanest I've stayed at in a long time. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Will stay there again.

The only down fall was the pool was closed. Other than that the stay was great
