The location worked for our stay during a Baylor University function. The hallways smelled of smoke or something similar. Bathrooms were adequately clean but could use some upgrade. Carpets look old and weathered. Staff were friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was average. Surrounding area around hotel has a lot of traffic and homelessness. Nearby iHop and Chicken stop available for quick bite. Close and quick access to I-35. It was a high demand weekend for hotels, and I would probably find another place closer to campus and a bit cleaner next time.

It is always a wonderful comfortable , convenient stay i sleep so peaceful and enjoy my stay from the moment I walk in the main doors to the room ..I really love it .

The staff at this hotel are amazing! When we checked out I left some of our clothes in a drawer. Housekeeping bagged them up and turned them in to the front desk and the owner shipped them back to us. Everyone I spoke to while we were staying at the hotel and over the phone after we left were all kind and extremely helpful. Probably best hotel staff I have ever come into contact with. Now, for the hotel itself, It is pretty run down but seems clean. You have to sign something when you check in stating that you will not smoke in the rooms (which I appreciate) but as soon as we got to our room it reeked of cigarette smoke. My husband went to the desk to inform the guy who checked us in (we didn’t want to be fined for something we didn’t do) and he did give us a can of Lysol spray to spray in the room to try to help with the smell. Later in the night a room down the hall from us was having a party and I could smell weed coming from the room when I went to get ice. Honestly, It’s a toss up on whether I would stay there again. We are traveling 3 different weeks this month and we were only in town for a football game so I looked for a hotel that was on the less expensive side. This hotel fit that bill. I wish I could take the staff and management at the hotel and stick them in an Embassy Suites! If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel with great staff, this is for you. If you are used to staying in “nicer” hotels, you may want to keep looking.

Was surprised this hotel warranted a Wonderful rating on Expedia. It was average. Room had overpowering musky smell and area was loud. AC did work very well.

I enjoyed the amenities, size/cleanliness of room, and proximity to activities. I was disappointed in the actions of a single staff member who made my guest feel uncomfortable. Mike, I’m guessing in maintenance, later apologized for his false accusations but the damage was done. The embarrassment in front of the other guests and staff was not an experience I expected. Also, vending machine ate money. Overall good just a couple of mishaps.

Front staff could be more friendly. Room smelled weird when I came in but evened out with the air conditioner. Nothing really to rave about. Beds were ok but pillows lacking. Breakfast was not good. It was alright for the $ but could have been cheaper

The hotel and room were very nice. Really enjoyed the continental breakfast, great variety. Several restaurants and a gas station right by the hotel, which was convenient. Only problem is it is very close to the highway so it is a bit noisy.

They advertise a spa, but when arriving to the pool we found out it was filled in with concrete. We switched rooms because how bad the smoke and weed smell was. Cannot recommend this hotel for the price. I have been better places for half the price!

Room smelled heavily of smoke, when I went to front desk, was told nothing they could do and offered a can of Lysol. Front desk checked for febreeze but could not find any. was also told no other rooms available.

Pool inside. Electrical and usb outlets were nice Parking was good. Close to what we needed. Hope hotel will consider a discount on rooms for Order of the Eastern Star because this organization will return to Waco for State wide meeting for the next 3 years.

Everything was wonderful! The guy at the front desk was super nice and the girl who was doing the breakfast was too! The room was spacious and very comfortable and very clean. I slept so good, which is unusual for me. The pool was awesome and the fitness room was also very nice. I really enjoyed the breakfast and the coffee was great! I feel like I got a bargain since the price was good too!

worth the money

Staff were friendly. Kid loved the suite style room we had. Just need some updating. Stopper wouldn’t stay in the tub and bathroom felt like it needed a lot of work.

Clean, comfortable room

The hotel was clean and close to a QT and IHOP that you can walk to.

Carpet is so old needs to be removed I was also put next to the elevator that was annoying hearing it go down and up, checking late was not so nice maybe because we checked in passed midnight so last thing I wanted to do is complain and get kicked out, so sometimes all u need is just a bed.

The only thing I have to say is the breakfast staff was not friendly.

Fast,friendly checkin. Easy access to freeway. Room is dark and depressing… gray and brown carpet, worn dark couch and furniture. Need light colored laminate floors. Bathroom clean, plenty of hot water. Beds very comfortable. AC works great. Several fast food, low-end restaurants within easy walking distance.

Nice people, great breakfast, close parking, comfortable beds, clean bathroom.....only negative was a slight musty smell in the room at first.

THE POOL HAD TO MUCH CLORAX.

The best Quality Inn I have ever stayed at. Very clean, the room was spacious, the staff was friendly and polite, and although we didn’t use them, the pool, fitness center, and business center looked great! Continental breakfast was what you would expect, nothing out of the ordinary, but was good regardless! Right next to Quick Trip and Flying J, both within walking distance, and super close proximity to other dining options. Will definitely stay here again the next time we stop in Waco overnight :)
