Overall good. Always a tad disappointed when the spa at any level isn't included especially when aslcess for 50 euros for the two of us which was abit steep.

Lovely hotel

Comfortable and clean accommodation. Restaurant excellent and the staff wonderful. We have bought a house nearby and will use the restaurant again. Very accommodating of my vegan preferences, which, while it’s improving in Spain, it’s rare to find such helpful and knowledgeable staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely hotel, staff are great, particularly in the restaurant. They catered for me with vegan options that were thoughtful and very well executed. Plenty of parking in covered bays. Lots of little restaurants nearby. Area is quiet and safe, close to lakes and safe walks. Beds very comfortable, spotlessly clean. Dropped a star for noisy aircon, mirror being perished around the edges and plastic wrapping on soap and in bin liners. There’s no body or hand lotion, no conditioner, only shampoo and shower gel. Also, I read in some reviews that the rooms have kettles, there was no kettle in our room, only two small bottles of water.

This hotel is feeling rather tired. They have renewed furniture in the bar area but the rooms need attention. We paid extra for a deluxe suite as we had stayed in a junior suite before and wanted something more comfortable but were disappointed. The furniture in the lounge area was drab and uninspired. The weather was cool and rainy so we tried to turn the air conditioning to a heat setting…only to find that there is no heating in the hotel! At one point we were sitting in the bar area wearing jackets! The staff were friendly and worked hard. Breakfast was ok but the bread was stale and curling at the edges-no excuse as Spanish bread is usually delicious. The hotel looks good from the outside with a pleasant bar area and a lovely pool but it’s time to refresh the rooms. This was our third but our last visit.

This is the first time I have stayed in the Laguna hotel but I will certainly stay there again if I am in the area

All the staff took pride in their work & this showed by the cleanliness & upkeep of the hotel

Front of house, staff Road and non-helpful hotel overall was clean but just let down by the attitude and the feel of the place decor was extremely dated rooms were extremely dated overly priced and generally made not to feel very welcome

Lovely and quiet, the spa was great but the rooms I found a bit basic as in no dressing gowns no coffee or sugar and no bathroom essentials

Good hotel ideally located for what we wanted. Couple of good restaurants near by.

As we arrived there was not hot water for a shower. The next morning before an important meeting, still no hot water. The AC worked poorly, the beds slid appart and the pillows were old, worn, clumpy and uncomfortable. The breakfast was also very disappointing and the bar were missing key ingredients to make drinks. The pool was cold, non heated and it was full of leaves and contamination.

Restaurant food and drinks were over priced including the breakfasts. My partner had chops all bone and no meat vegetables were not cooked and very limited. Salmon over cooked to dry no sauce. Cheesecake tasted like cake no sauce very dry. Service appalling had to wait 5 minutes before we were shown a table. No 'good evening or how are you today' bad manners all round. Made it clear that only local residents were welcome and not foreigners. Will not recommend this hotel to anybody. Would like a refund as had to go and eat somewhere else as we were still hungry.

They denied that I had prepaid for Spa for at least 15 minutes, until they suddenly said: oh..I see that you have paid. And the worst case was that you have to wear a Swim cap in the Spa! Been to many spa around the world and NEVER had to. Bad breakfast.

As usual, the staff at the hotel was very welcoming and polite snd responsive. They are always ready to help! The service at breakfast is excellent!

The staff are excellent but let down by a hotel which needs a major refurb as soon as possible.

Room very basic, dated, disappointed overall.

No electric for 12 hours and no water for 30 hours. No use of spa and had to use my friends hotel for a shower! Shocking place!

We've stayed at this hotel a number of times over the last 7 years. Sadly, this time, it wasn't so good. Because of an air conditioning leak and they couldn't get an engineer (a Friday afternoon) we had to move rooms. As we weren't told they couldn't repair it until 22.00 and there was no one available to assist us, it took us until after midnight to pack and then unpack in the new room. They initially tried to actually downgrade us because they were fully booked but eventually we were given a slightly better room. Additionally, quite unbelievably, we intended to eat in their restaurant but when we ordered our main course (lamb chops) we were told they didn't have any! We ealked out and ate at a bar 50 metres away and they had lamb chops! The foregoing marred our stay but overall we ended up enjoying ourselves.

This was a return visit and sure we will stay again, nice clean, well located hotel. The pool was empty/not in use but would have been too cold to use. Staff are great only minor issue was lack of hot choices for breakfast and what was available wasn't replenished snd qas cold.

Teabags,and cups in the room yet no coffee or milk,very odd I thought,milk and coffee are classed as extras and only available after 8am in the restaurant,other than that couldn’t fault the hotel

Lovely hotel, very pretty grounds. We only stayed one night passing through, however check in is 4 pm, pool closed at 7 pm and did not open until 11 am the next day and we had to check out by noon, so we were not really able to use facilities. Would have been nice to have pool area open until nine

Liked the location made it easy to tour the local area.

Amazing hotel, breakfast was lovely and service amazing! Restaurant food was also great. Perfect location, easy free parking and resonsably priced. Worth upgrading room for the view.
